Location is great.

部屋に置かれる紅茶がくしゃくしゃで気持ち悪かった。 ロケーションが便利なので、寝るだけには良かったと思います。

เป็นโรงแรมเล็กๆ ที่มีการต้อนรับที่ดีจากพนักงานต้อนรับที่เป็นมิตรและสนุกสนาน แต่ว่าห้องพัก มีขนาดเล็กมาก และการสัดส่วนของห้องพักไม่ดี ทำให้การพักในโรงแรมลำบาก ฉันมากับครอบครัวซึ่งไม่แนะนำอย่างยิ่ง เพราะขนาดและการจัดวางสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกไม่ดี

La nostra stanza sottoterra e aveva una finestra sul tetto coperto da una tenda ma entrava comunque luce la notte. Accanto la porta invece della parete c’era una grande vetrata con una tenda, insomma se si spostava la tenda chi passava vedeva dentro la stanza! Lenzuola macchiate e colazione inesistente. Quando ho prenotato era prevista ma in hotel mi hanno detto che non hanno questo servizio. Nella hall c’è una macchinetta per acqua e varie cose (a pagamento), una macchinetta del caffè e qualche cornetto sfuso confezionato. Se avessi saputo che la colazione non era compresa non avrei prenotato in questo hotel. La colazione per me è fondamentale. Tra l’altro l’ho pagata e in realtà dovevo farla fuori dall’hotel ripagando.

Tutto considerato, una buona soluzione per il turista ad Amsterdam. In primo luogo la posizione: il Joordan è spettacolare e tutte le principali attrazioni della città sono raggiungibili a piedi. Poi, per chi arriva in auto, la convenzione con parcheggio a pagamento nelle vicinanze (Q-Park di Marnixstraat). Infine, ma non ultimo in ordine di importanza, in una città dove i prezzi degli hotel del centro sono molto elevati, prenotando direttamente sul sito dell’hotel le tariffe possono essere accettabili. Cosa non ci ha convinto: Le pareti del bagno sono tutte in vetro (oscurato) ed il lavandino non è in bagno, bensì nel breve corridoio che dall’ingresso porta alla camera stessa.

The good - Great decor, very clean, cool mood lighting in shower and great location for exploring Amsterdam The bad - walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours flushing their toilet and watching tv, however we turned on the air con and this drowned any noise out. We paid 30 euros for a late checkout and unfortunately this was not communicated to the Housekeeper. That is fine mistakes happen, however the Housekeeper for quite threatening and started banging on our door from 11am telling us we need to leave as nobody told him we were checking our late. We were refunded 20 euros but I feel we should have at least had the full amount refunded and maybe something to compensate us leaving feeling so intimidated So in conclusion if you want a nice looking hotel in a great location feel free to stay here. However don't upset the angry staff members even if you didn't mean to

Melrose Hotel was great! We found ourselves in a bind after another property cancelled our reservation and Melrose saved us. The room was tight but that's expected in AMS, it was very clean! Great location for walking to 9 Streets and all the sights, we walked to everything. Good selection of bars, a grocery and bakery close by. Everyone was very nice the coffee machine in the lobby makes great coffee!!!

We had a good stay at the Melrose Hotel. It's nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The location was great. We loved being in the Jordaan. We walked everywhere from the hotel, but public transport was also readily available if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are basic but Spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic with plenty of bars and restaurants very close by. The number 17 tram takes you from central station to the end of the street making it very accessible.

I won’t recommend this hotel. Terrible experience! The room . As a frequent traveler, I have visited over 30 continents. Stayed in all different types of the hotel .The management of the property is not professional! Very disappointing! Bad experience!

The hotel is in the Jordaan neighborhood and for us a great location outside of tourist sites but easily accessible and many local stores and eateries. We either took the tram ( raining or late) but mostly walked to everywhere. This for us is a hotel for sleeping and a place for breaks as room size and amenities are essential and what we needed. Front staff, Shafi, was so helpful and always greeted us and others with a warm hello.

If you’re searching for a cheap and cheerful hotel situated in a great location, book Hotel Melrose! The staff were absolutely lovely, so helpful and welcoming from the get go. There are maps available and I’m sure if you had any further Qs, the staff would be more than happy to help. The reception is spacious and cosy, the ideal place to wait for an Uber or plan your day whilst watching the world go by. The doors open right on to the lively streets of the city and it’s only a 15/20 min walk to various touristy areas. We didn’t get a single bus/tram as we found walking so enjoyable and not time consuming at all. We stayed in room 22, which is at the back of the hotel in a separate building. The room had 2 single beds which I believe they pushed together knowing that we were a couple, so that was handy. If you’re looking for luxury accommodation, this is not the place for you but if you want somewhere comfy, safe and warm to lie your head down at the end of a busy day, this will do nicely. Make sure whoever you’re sharing the room with is comfortable with being in close quarters, however, as you can see the outline of people showering and will also be able to hear their trips to the toilet (our bathroom door didn’t shut fully). There isn’t much storage but enough for a couple nights stay. The beds were surprisingly comfortable which made up for the towels which felt like hand towels size wise! These are all things that can be forgiven though and weren’t a deal breaker as we didn’t spend enough time in our room to care! We particularly loved the LED light strips that you could change colour depending on your mood. House keeping seems to be available but we kept our do not disturb sign on so can’t comment on that. Our room also had tea making facilities and a TV with a variety of channels. One final thing to be aware of is the walls are very thin, so you can often hear your neighbours activities so just be aware to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! Overall, our experience was pleasantly enjoyable and we would absolutely return again. We paid for late checkout (about €20) which was sooo worth it and also the reception gladly kept our belongings stored away safely whilst we went out for the morning before leaving in the afternoon.
