The place is nice and quiet. Staff are very friendly. As for the quality of Italian food as opposed to the international level expected from such a sough-after cuisine, the place leaves much to be desired; their wild mushroom soup was actually good, but the sirloin steak was mediocre. They have a good selection of beverages, but their cocktails need a lot of work. What I did like was the staff. Motei’ was nice and helpful, and was checking all the time if things were ok. The chef, Shadi, also took the trouble to come and ask what was wrong with the steak and was ready to take comments and listen. He even changed the plate to something I liked better. A good staff I think can compensate for other issues. This restaurant/Cafe will be better with time.
