Hotel in zona Red River Nature Walk, Amber Valley District

La stanza era grande ma vecchia. Il tetto scorreva ai lati che ci avevamo sbattuto in diverse occasioni. La finestra era piccola, che lo rendeva stufa e era molto buia, non c'era luce principale nella camera da letto, solo le lampade. Il letto era grande e comodo. La stanza e il bagno erano puliti. La nostra cena era una volta con il ristorante e abbiamo avuto 2 colazioni e il cibo era buono e conveniente. Il colazione era servizio autonomo (come il nostro è stato incluso) con una vasta e abbondante varietà. Il personale era amichevole e utile, ma professionale. Non abbiamo usato la piscina alla fine, perché voleva andare fuori e indietro all'interno, perché la nostra stanza non era collegata ad una rotta coperta alla piscina. Non c'era niente di cui lamentarsi, ma ci aspettavamo che la stanza fosse un po' più lussuosa. Un po' troppo costosa per la stanza. Mi aspettavo che il prezzo si basasse sulle strutture disponibili.

Il servizio è buono, ma le strutture dell'hotel hanno problemi, lava la faccia e lava la goccia. Non c'è ancora comunicazione quando si lascia l'hotel.Il cameriere è molto entusiasta, ma non ha risolto il problema.

La prima stanza era stata assegnata e la TV non funzionava, ma il personale mi trasferiva gentilmente in un'altra stanza. Il manager dell'hotel mi ha rimborsato un soggiorno di notte, ma non capisco perché si avrebbero usato le camere se fossero state effettuate riparazioni.

Needed convenient stopping point from Surrey to Chestefield, one night, for a funeral. Location ideal. Despite proximity to M1 itself, road noise was not excessive. Receptionist was really welcoming; gave me a choccie bar and bottle of water. You can stroll to the services for Mcdonald's or Costa - and WH Smith etc, (if open). . The overall decor is a bit 'tired' but everything was clean, bed fresh, coffee/tea facilities. Would have preferred the radio to be fitted by the bedside not table across the room (!). Freeview TV quite adequate for one night........ Bedroom was huge (guess it would double up as a family room at times) - and possibly I could have taken my dog with me, in which case the extra space was great. For functionality cannot fault.

Non la vista migliore dalla finestra del pavimento molto grande, grazie al suolo leggermente oscurato dal molo sul vetro, ma l'ultima volta che ho visto le finestre così grandi direttamente su un parco auto pubblico, era a Amsterdam in un certo quartiere colorato.

We had a wonderful one night stay at The View, we were so impressed as soon as we arrived as to how spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated our room was. We were lucky with the weather that evening and were able to relax and enjoy the fabulous view of the surrounding countryside. It was our wedding anniversary and we had a superb dinner in the restaurant, every course was delicious. All the staff we met were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and very tasty with plenty of choices. The White Horse is in a great location, lovely and quiet, we slept really well, but not far from so many places of interest, Bakewell was only a short drive away as was Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. We would thoroughly recommend The View at The White Horse and hope to stay there again.

Came to this hotel for 2 nights to visit the area before attending a wedding reception in Derby. It was beautiful in every way. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly, the hotel itself was beautiful and the gardens were outstanding. The hotel kindly let us keep the room a bit longer on our departure day, even though they were themselves hosting a wedding. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and breakfast both mornings and the food was amazing. Both food and wine were surprisingly reasonably priced as was the stay itself. We were able to walk to Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham, so no need to use the car. I'd highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Siamo rimasti nelle stanze di promonardi, due adulti e due bambini, e non si pensava mai che ci fosse un contenitore di spedizione molto tranquillo, molto pulito, anche i bordi del tessuto erano affamati bellissimi quando entrammo nella stanza. La camera è stata molto divertente con doccia, TV, asciugacapelli, tè e copertina.10 metri di distanza c'era un altro locale con tostapane, microonde, bagno completo con lavastoviglie liquide. A pochi passi, la reception e la sala di intrattenimento per i bambini hanno fatto attività a notte come i bambini disco, la sala di gioco libero tavolo da calcio e la tavola Lego . Abbiamo fatto due notti al primo giorno, due notti intorno al parco di Gulliver, il secondo giorno, siamo andati alle altezze di Abramo. Questo posto è grande per i bambini che abbiamo guardato le altre camere ma trovato che avete più spazio all'aperto nella sala promonarde che potreste sedervi e guardare i bambini giocare. È anche un autobus che si può dormire su quel sembrava divertente.

I booked this hotel for my father and I as we had a very early morning appointment at the Royal Derby and we travelled far afield. I needed a room for him which had a low-step shower cubicle, Premier Inn & Travelodge didn't offer these options for their rooms nearby. So I chose ibis as a reasonable alternative, the welcome and check-in was smooth and professional, the room was snug and small, but suitable for a one night stay I thought. The bathroom was perfect, as was the in room TV. As with any hotel, one of the key integral factors for a stay is the comfort and quality of the beds. I was so disappointed with the poor quality of the beds, the mattress was not a proper mattress and was approximately 3” thick, it was hard and unbearable. I had to fold my duvet in half and sleep on top of it to reduce the discomfort, as did my father. I got about 3 hours sleep due to the discomfort and unpleasant condition of the bed. I had back ache and shoulder aches the next day, which wasn't expected. My elderly father was worse for wear also. The breakfast buffet was faultless with a good selection available and fresh food. We won't stay in an ibis again, it was our first time staying in an ibis, its been 3 days since my booking ended and we've not been offered a chance to review our stay formally, nor can I see any way to claim a full or partial refund for a very poor quality overnight stay. I would caution anyone on booking here, as the bed quality is really poor and lacks any form of comfort whatsoever. I cannot fault the staff, the cleanliness of the room and hotel, nor can I fault the bathroom which had a spacious shower cubicle. It's a shame the company hasn't invested in the most essential item in any hotel... the beds!
