Reception very helpful overall and met lots of friendly staff. (Shout out to the gentleman who's a huge Paul McCartney fan and made us all feel very welcome, thank you ever so much). On our last day, housekeeping knocks at 12:01 pm, our ”please don't disturb sign” hanging on the door. I tell her we asked for a late check out at 2pm. She says a not-so friendly ”o-kay” and she doesn't look very happy. A few minutes later, reception calls the phone and says they weren't made aware but confirms the late checkout. At 12.30, a different lady from housekeeping again knocks on our door and I say I just got a call from reception confirming a late check out at 2pm. She politely smiles and apologises and says she didn't know about that. Just a slight mishap in communication, I guess. (I'm aware that housekeeping don't go around holding apps to read every update in communication). Just that, we got at least two phone calls asking how our stay has been (which is nice) and on the second phone call the day before we were to check out, my husband mentioned the late check out request. With all the lovely attempts to check how our stay has been, I was just a bit surprise that our request was overlooked.

My family and I stayed here twice in the past week. once by chance, stopping very late at night after the end of a long travel day. The night time desk clerk was friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfprtable. The next morning we at their very good breakfast buffet, and our four year old had some time to use the beautiful indoor pool. Though exhausted we were delighted by our stay and mad certain to stop back there again on the return trip. It did not disappoint. Once again the room was comfortable and very clean, and even though we arrived very near the end of the breakfast buffet, they were very friendly and did not hesitate to bring out new, fresh items, and replenish the waffle batter (have to take advantage of that waffle iron for the fresh waffle). My wife had a very nice conversation with the food service manager who was incredibly friendly. Every person I encountered there in both stays was friendly and helpful. Any time future travel or business brings me or the family to Amarillo I will certainly stay here again.

Ci sono stati i primi a portare il nostro cane, siamo stati al secondo piano e non abbiamo avuto grandi problemi di rumore. La nostra stanza era pulita, purché le toilette non mancavano, ma non c'era problema per il nostro soggiorno di una notte. Il bagno dell'hotel è molto grasso e pulito e il nostro cane amava rullare nel prato! Il colazione gratis è stato il migliore che abbia mai avuto in un hotel. L'omelette delle uova era deliziosa con formaggio americano, il bacon era sgusciato, mio marito amava il collegamento Turchia salsa e salsa patate, ci erano anche muffin e pasticceria per colazione. Servizio era amichevole! Era un grande soggiorno di notte.

We were at this same hotel last year (2022) and the year before (2021) and the pool was closed this year it is still closed. It says it is under renovation. Over two years to renovate a pool?? Unlike the hotel we stayed at the previous night with a pool that has been closed over a year, at least this hotel doesn't list it has a pool on its website. You can use the one at the Fairfield that is 10 miles away in which you would need to use the busy interstate. They also did not have WiFi. They said they were waiting for someone to fix it. We had to use our phones. Good thing we had plenty of data left. Our room is a suite room. The living room side has a desk, desk chair wall lamp, TV and three drawers. There is also a couch, chair, end table, and table lamp. The bedroom side had a king bed, end tables on each end with two drawers, a TV, and ottoman and a chest of drawers with three drawers. It has a closet with an ironing board in iron. The bathroom has a large vanity. The toiletries are on the wall. They are Alice Co. On the vanity there is a small soap and make up remover. It also has a hair dryer.

Really nice stay. Spent two nights here in preparation for a week long MINI Cooper rally up to Seattle. The hotel was easy to find, very clean, and the staff was friendly. The room was nicely laid out and clean. The location was quiet and we both got a good nights sleep. Plenty of eateries nearby. We were directed to the Saltgrass Steak House and it didn't disappoint. If you're in Amarillo, this is a great option, for sure!

JJkeriNot the best experience. We have stayed here before, but this time was not up to the Hilton standards. Coming into the lobby, some lady was going on about how she was being stalked and was asking about cameras in the parking lot. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, we checked in and headed to our room. Shared an elevator with a guy who had just checked on his motorcycle to make sure it hadn’t got stolen. He kept asking questions to my daughter and I - where we were from, where we were going, if we were by ourselves, etc. We evaded his questions and got off the elevator on our floor where he followed us down the hall. Out of caution, we walked past our room until we got to the other end of the hall and ended up going down the stairs. We went back downstairs and waited several minutes before rushing up to our room and locking the door. The headboard of our room was all ripped up (leather-like material). Although it looked rough, I suppose it wasn’t dirty, so we went to bed. When the air came on, the unit rattled so badly, we messed with it but had to eventually turn it off completely so we could get some sleep. Late night led to a long night. The next morning we went to breakfast and found it closed 15 minutes before the posted time. Checked out and went to McD instead.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel and service was everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Staff was super friendly and attentive to any needs. Hotel is modern, clean, and up to date for a location that was built in 1927. Surprising good night life and several restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. Several right across the street. A very quiet pleasant stay. Didn't hear people coming or going from their rooms at all hours of the nights. I had a room that was next to the elevator and never heard it once and this was on a busy weekend. The only downfall with the property was a lack of pool/spa. So this may or may not be a deal breaker if you are trying to entertain kids.

Per lui e le camere pulite saremo certamente tornati quando andremo a gettare di nuovo. Grazie per il bellissimo luogo sicuro per restare.

We loved our stay. They have remodeled and done a lot of updating inside and outside. This is a local family owed hotel. They also have great employees they were great and helpful. We will be back and we recommend to anyone staying in Amarillo.we have family in Amarillo so we stayed at a lot of different places and this was our favorite.
