Hampton Inn Amarillo

Room was clean, smelled decent, comfy beds. Front desk person friendly and helpful. Decent hot breakfast. Stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at Baymont in Amarillo TX. The front desk administrator, Jennifer, was so gracious and accommodating. Typical Texan hospitality:) The beds were very comfortable and the location was very safe. If if pass through Amarillo again, I will book this hotel.

I travel to Murfreesboro for work once a week and only stay at Baymont .The staff is absolutely amazing. The rooms are great, beds are comfortable, fluffy pillows, rooms are huge , property is clean, very well lit up , very convenient to everything. Front desk day clerk “Jenny” is absolutely the best not to mention very respectful. The guy “Can’t think of his name “ he works afternoons” and is great, very respectful, does property checks around property at dark, doesn’t hesitate to answer any questions and definitely doesn’t care to help with luggage or whatever.

We travel about five months of the year and stay at hotels in a lot of different places. When we make bookings our minimum requirements are refrigerator, microwave, guest laundry, free breakfast and free in room WiFi. At time of booking, you don't know how these things are going to work out until you actually stay at the property. Additionally, you don't know how other things like cleanliness and sleep quality are going to turn out. This hotel turned out to be a decent place to stay. Our room was comfortable, the bed was good, the shower was good, the WiFi worked just fine and, most importantly for Amarillo in the summer, the air conditioner worked well. The free breakfast included pork sausage and scrambled eggs. The staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

It’s an older hotel but well kept. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms were clean. Even the fitness center was nice. The issue is there is no elevator to get to the second floor rooms so we had to carry all of our stuff up and down the steps and we’re over 60 years old so that was no fun at all.

The room was clean and the bed pretty comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with bottles less than half full from previous guests. We used our own toiletries. Whomever installed the bowed shower curtain bar placed the bump downward instead of upward so the shower curtain would stay closed completely. Breakfast was well stocked with both hot and cold food items. The coffee was excellent. It was a decent place (outside the used toiletries.)
