Situated in a smartly renovated century old building, that provides good home style cooking (breakfast included and dinner on request) with charming staff and an owner well informed about the rich local history - ie the Duwisib Castle next door.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reception was a little brash. Enjoyed dinning with the owner who had interesting stories to tell and very knowledgeable about the region. Dinner was appetizing and wholesome.

The 2 of us were the only guests that night. However, we got a full choice of foods for dinner and breakfast buffet. Great food. The senior farm owner spent hours telling us about the farm and castle. Apparently the castle is closed until further notice. And yet, the owner tried to contact the guard for the castle to open it for us. Unfortunately that was not possible on short notice.

We were 6 people in 3 vehicles which required electricity and Duwisib kindly made an arrangement for us. The ablutions are cleaned and have everything you require to be comfortable. The stand has a tap, a braai area and washing up facilities to make your life easy. Wifi available and the wonderful aromas of the cooking for guests were very convincing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were neat and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Christian, was extremely informative about the history of the castle and surrounding area. We will definitely be staying there again.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay at Duwisib guest farm. The location is super with beautiful views and the host Jochen is wonderful . He joined us for dinner which was a lovely homecooked meal and we really enjoyed the conversation and learning more about the farm an its history. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

No lodge luxury but a very nice and quiet farm-atmosphere with nice people and good rooms. We just had one night, so I can't say too much, but I have to fill the 200 chars that tripadvisor is requiriing as minimum.

We enjoyed Duwisib Guestfarm tremendously and can recommend same to every traveler doing the southern parts of Namibia. We would recommend putting up hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms to hang up coats and Travel bags.
