"La casa di campagna Nent Hall è un vero gioiello nascosto, il ristorante è eccellente e molto convenientemente costoso. La scelta dal menu del ristorante per cena al bar è un vero bonus, non c'è bisogno di sentire che i vostri vestiti da camminare non sono idonei. Eravamo molto impressionati e siamo finiti di andare indietro tre notti correndo, non può consigliarlo abbastanza."

"Great few days here. landlady very accomodating especially with bike storage and huge breakfasts to get me going in the morning Although it was looking tired it was all I needed for cycle touring, though at the end of the day the extra 33 stairs to the bedroom seemed 1 hill to many. Shame they did not do dinners but pleanty of other places nearby."

"Called into Alston House on our way home from visiting High Force. We had a Sunday Roast, 2 had beef and the other had chicken. I have to say its the nicest sunday roast we have had in a long time. The beef was tender and delicious and loads of it, the veg was cooked to perfection and came hot as was the gravy (just how I like my gravy). The chicken roast was as above and every bit as delicious. We wanted a sweet but we couldn't have eaten another bite. And of course we had 2 lovely girls looking after us who were nothing but attractive. We will definitely be back. Doug Denise and Lisa 20/7/25"
