Manos Apartments

Our stay at Manos Apartments was exceptional! It’s super spacious and the patio had an amazing view. The host was friendly, the bed was comfy, and the place was clean/well-stocked. We will definitely book again if back in town!

Brilliant holiday at Manos apartments. Stayed in apartment 4 on the top floor it has an amazing 180 degrees view to sea, Almyrida and the white mountains. Even the other 3 apartments had lovely seaviews. Manos kept them wonderfully clean and had water, wine and fruit there for our arrival. He's a character we liked him and he does a good job. There is a shortcut down to the little harbour end of the beach, turn right at the bottom of Manos steep driveway walk 100m or so till you see the signs for Ansi Studios and Isadora Studios turn left downhill and walk along the footpath next to high stone wall till you come to the steps 73 of them, at the bottom turn left and you are there. We liked this part of the beach for early morning or teatime swimming mostly Greeks swim here. The sunbeds a bit further down were 10 euros for 2 and brolly the younger lady who takes your money was pleasant but the older lady at the canteen cafe was abrupt and rude to us so never returned here instead went to Tsumani cafe end where sunbeds were also 10 euros and the guy doing the sunbeds plus service of food and drinks to your sunbed was great. Had lots of good meals in Almyrida, plus lots of free Raki and little desserts, Lagos probably the favorite plus a few meals up in Plaka were good which is walkable just make sure at the bend in the main road you walk straight up the quieter road which rejoins the main road and before you reach the Sunset Taverna (which I recommend also) there is a steep road to your right which takes you through the old village and comes out at Elpis taverna. For those of you who drink most beers were 4 to 4.5 euros and half carafe of local wine about 6 euros. We hired a car from Autoclub in Almyrida we pre booked it before we arrived and they delivered to the apartment would recommend them. We visited lots of inland villages in the area our favorite was Gavalohori it has 1 cafe and 2 tavernas and mini market from here you can visit the Venetian water wells too. We will return one day especially for that view.
