Super 8 by Wyndham Alma

If you like hard beds and pillows, this is the place for you. Hot water clean linens, quiet when you're the only people there. Limited snack variety in the vending machine. Breakfast to be desired. But hey, if you're looking for something overnight, this is about the best you can do in a small town such as Alma. There was a strong smell of Indian cooking that you probably can get used to if you stayed there more night. Not everybody prefers that though. You do not need your key card to get in and out of the building because the doors are open.

Dirty hotel complained I had my window open looks junky all around the hotel smells like curry so I was letting the room air out company paid the incidental fee with a card online but still made me put a another card in the system and when I tried to argue that that’s been paid already and I wasn’t putting my own card in there he got on his phone and walked away like the rooms already paid for if your willing to drive a extra 30mi to stay somewhere else do it

Ken,Jen,Rodger and their MOM are super great people!!The room was spotless bed was perfect!! coffee was hot hot !! They feed a local stray cat and Rodger even built a house for it outside how thoughtful of him !! cat comes and goes as it pleases dogs are welcome and do greet you on occasion since I'm a pet lover thought it was great!!What irks me is when I was looking for a room the lady at the fleabag motel across the hwy. said there were NO OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT I SHOULD GO TO HOLDRIDGE WHAT THE HELL !!!!!Then was told about the suspicious activity going on around there WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP !! Since it was locals whom built the hotel originally and decided to sell out maybe other locals should have bought it themselves !! This family is living the American dream and I for one hope they succeed!! They take pride in what they have and I will be back so I hope they do well for generations to come!!Despite jealous locals who try to discourage you staying there I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SUPER 8 IN ALMA NEBRASKA HOTEL!! Our room was acceptable but the bathroom seat was worn and should be replaced soon Our room was missing a refrigerator and a microwave All the breakfast tables and food area were dirty, and there were only a few food selections, such as two dry cereals, waffles, toast, coffee and juice.

We stayed here on our way to Arizona in February. Got in later in the evening. The front desk clerk was very kind and courteous. Fast check-in. The Bed was very comfortable and pillows were comfortable too. The shower was nice and hot. We'll stay again.

As far as Super 8 go, this one has been the best I've stayed at in years. The people at the desk were friendly. Upon walking in, the lobby looked nice, warm, and welcoming. I haven't seen that since before Covid. They let me check in early which was also really nice or I wouldn't have been able to check in until 10 pm or so. My room was clean. Nothing was broken or didn't work. You could tell it was recently vacuumed. There were enough plugs for my devices and the bathroom was large and bright. They did have a quick start breakfast which had toast, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, and those pancake things you can make. No fruit, no eggs, no yogurt. But they had something. It was also quiet. If I'm ever in the area I'll stay here again.
