Hotel Placid Allahabad

Hotel is located strategically near to every place of interest or pilgrimage. Has all amenities. Cabs and public transport is readily available. Airport is 40 mins drive. The food is good and they have multi cuisine kitchen. The staff is polite and efficient.

Ac is not working properly, neither in room nor in restaurant. Also there is unavailability of fan also in rooms.

Hotel location is very good in terms of all pilgrimage and sightseeing places, it is peaceful residential colony, staff is very supportive and courteous we stayed here for three days and all three days enjoyed the dinner, staff is extremely helpful, hospitable and makes suggestions if asked appropriately the hotel menu is well priced for the quantity and taste, good, clean and decent stay helps make travel memories pleasant and happy

I was staying for official purpose for 5 days as i had some local visits todo. I had to book the hotel on first night as my travel desk person was on leave. I checked in late night and staff was on duty desk. Reception areas was heated by central heating system and felt nice as outside was cold 10 degrees. Room was given quickly and when i entered it was big and clean room as good as a star hotel. Bedsheets and covers were very clean, towel could be better. It looked old and gray and way too heavy. Bathroom was spotless clean. Everything looked like new or renovated. Corners did not have dust or dirt. No rats or cockroach. Room smelled clean and fresh. Window is large and glass. Faces north so gets some clean sunlight in room. Room service is quick. Food selection can be lot better but looks like not many guests come to restaurant to eat so it's mostly empty. They always made me fresh simple food whenever i asked. And, g ajar halwa you can try.

Location is excellent the hotel was near and the room was spacious wifi was slow ac was not cooling, considering that we visited during the chill winter season. The room was hot and the staff were not able to help. Hot water in toilet taps was disappointing. Had to wait for 10 minutes leaving the water to run down still it was just luke warm. Room service was good. Brakefast had a good spread of both south and north indian dishes. Overall it was a good stay.

Bad ambience of room, hot blower not working geyser not working, room lock key deactivated while staying

Room was excellent with all amenities, hygiene was also good, staff was also courteous. Overall our stay at hotel placid was satisfactory though a bit high priced. Will recommend others

Welcome at reception was good. Rooms are pretty clean and spacious. Food quality is quite good. I think it's a good choice will definitely like to come back again

Property is good, location is very good, rooms are very clean and well arranged but i can't say anything about food because i have not tried, i decided to go for famous local food available in market but yes i would like to stay here again.
