Hotel Almirante

Non sono rimasto molto colpito dal nostro soggiorno di 2 notti. In primo luogo, abbiamo inviato un'e-mail alla reception 2 giorni prima del nostro arrivo per chiedere se ci fosse la possibilità di effettuare il check-in prima poiché il check-in alle 16:00 è piuttosto tardivo, soprattutto in bassa stagione, ma fino ad oggi non abbiamo avuto risposta (siamo ora a casa) La doccia aveva un cattivo odore proveniente dallo scarico. Non vado in vacanza per guardare la tv ma mi piace prima di andare a letto o quando mi preparo per uscire, non un canale in lingua inglese, il che andrebbe bene se potessi trasmettere in streaming Netflix o Prime ma neanche quello era disponibile . Sono andato a pranzo e apparentemente pensano che sia accettabile offrire un gambero, sì, un gambero per € 11. Anche se so che deve essere una specie di super gambero, questo tipo di hotel non dovrebbe aggiungerlo a un menu che ha offerte altrimenti standard, ad esempio club sandwich, hamburger, ecc. C'è solo un ascensore, quindi se l'hotel è pieno sarai più veloce a camminare (ottimo quando sei al 5 ° piano) Nel complesso, questo hotel urla lo stile sulla sostanza per me e non ci tornerei.

Ottimo hotel, ristorante molto buono, servizio eccellente, ottima posizione, vicino alla spiaggia, a pochi passi da bar e ristoranti

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. The hotel is very close to the beautiful sandy beach and promenade of Playa San Juan, which is approximately 15 min by taxi from Alicante centre. The decor in the public areas is very nicely done. Food in restaurant and bar was excellent and prices were similar to other restaurants in the area. The pool area is well maintained. Pool/beach towels are provided and there are an excellent changing rooms with showers etc for guests departing later in the day. All staff were very helpful and always pleasant. An ideal hotel for a relaxing beach break. The photos taken from our balcony show the pool area and how close the beach is to the hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket nearby.

My honest review. This hotel concentrates on corporate events and as holiday travellers, we were made to feel like second class citizens by the bar and restaurant staff. Front desk were lovely and friendly,but everytime we ordered a meal or drink the bar and restaurant staff were very rude. We spent slot of money there eating evening meals on 3 occasions, everytime there served us they said "two diet cokes ?" I had to say no each time and say no thanks I would like s bottle of rose etc. They ran around after the local corporate guests and we always felt out of place. They sneered at us each time we ordered. The room was very lovely the pool gorgeous but there is a large construction site next to the pool and the noise is constant and horrendous, not the hotels fault but be aware its not peaceful at all, its a constant siren and angle grinding. No other restaurants open near the hotel for the 5 days we were there but as e left they had opened today so there would be more choice now. Breakfast was lovely but again we were the only one dressed for a holiday amongst lots of business suited guests and it didn't feel relaxing or comfortable. Older gentleman on reception very friendly. They need to tell the bar and restaurant staff to be nicer to holiday guests, we were very polite but they always made us feel like we were not worth bothering with. Beach is stunning, very quiet residential area, if it wasn't for the construction site noise it would be very peaceful.

Stayed here for 1 night but booked 2. Had to cancel second night due to emergency and spoke with receptionist ( nicest person in hotel so no complaints there). Having paid for 2 nights and only staying 1 and duet to unforeseen circumstances I naturally asked for a refund for non use on the 2nd night but was flatly refused I understand terms and conditions but a lack of empathy and not to refund 1 unused night which no doubt they sold on to earn extra revenue left a sour taste

Super friendly and clean stay! The hotel is in a great location, so close to a lovely clean sandy beach, Super comfy bed, fab shower and tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have booked to stay again in September, thank you muchos :)

Fantastic hotel. Should be a 4 star hotel! Breakfast is extensive and fresh. The hotel is quiet and understated but absolutely delightful. Practically on the beach front with a beautiful pool area. Tram takes you into Alicante in about 20 mins. Loved my stay and would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location beside what is a superb beach. I would recommend spending a little extra on a panaromic room and inclusive breakfast. Very friendly and polite staff throughout the hotel from reception, bar, house keeping etc.....
