Old and run down in the middle of nowhere with no scenery around, but a wire fence giving you a nice prison atmosphere. Non existent service.

Writing this review while staying (couldn’t even wait to reach back) Booked 2 Luxurious rooms for 2 days. Have stayed in the same property under Radisson and the experience and Hospitality had been great, but this time even under Taj name it is not meeting the Radisson standards. Been a Taj Inner circle member for years and stayed at multiple Taj Properties across India, can definitely say it’s not up to the standards of the Taj Brand we love. The check-in: Wasn’t smooth and no where near express. The Reception lady was confused and we had to make multiple halts before reaching our rooms. The back end booking team had to intervene to rescue us. Thanks to Jignesh. The Rooms are exactly the same with nothing changed or upgraded to add the touch of Taj. The aging appliances should have been replaced. In one of the rooms Minibar leaked coz of excess frozen ice that’s dripping down and it needed multiple reminders to get it replaced. Had order a delivery that was kept at the reception and waited endlessly for it (reminded multiple times) and finally had to fetch it ourselves from reception. Food served was yummy but the usual Taj hospitality is missing or seems like Managers are fire fighting during buffet and the food isn’t promptly refilled but the biggest disappointment are the serving Staff. No smiles or courtesy running around but FORGETFUL. Surely there’s SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS suffered by most coz the experience is consistent Bfast, Lunch or Dinner. They take orders but you will never get it until you stand up go to the counters yourself or talk to the managers. Didn’t get Paranthas we ordered during bfast or rotis during lunch. Had to ask for cutlery multiple times and finally had to go stand on their heads and fetch it. Had received a call before checkin asking about the occasion and what would you want on top of the cake. But having seen this memory loss issue in staff, we had to order from outside. We are still in the property but already decided not to visit this property again unless we see positive recommendations and it matching the Taj standards where we make memories rather than struggle with basic things that even aren’t a problem in 3 stars. At the moment won’t recommend this property to anyone or will suggest them other 3 stars that I’m sure will still have better service. DEFINITELY NOT THE TAJ EXPERIENCE ANYONE PAYS FOR.

Absolutely breathtaking experience at Taj Alibaug! The food was exquisite, with every dish a masterful blend of flavors and spices. The service was top-notch - attentive, friendly, and seamless and the person Mr Rajneesh,aman ,Mayur ,Manoj ,payal and his entire team was really friendly and helpful throughout our trip .The ambiance was stunning, with beautiful decor and impeccable hospitality. Can't wait to come back!
