Room key wouldn’t work and front desk despite of trying were unable to offer a working key. Location is good.

What a great stay! Super Clean. Excellent Breakfast Bar. Wonderful room - we appreciated the upgrade we were given! (thanks!) All staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. A short walk to Kings Street and all the shopping and restaurants. If you are planning to stay here while visiting DC - I would strongly suggest checking out the Metro public transportation. The station is only about 3 blocks away (very walkable. Wish we had done a bit more research on this before traveling. Even the trip from the Ronald Reagan airport to the hotel would have been SO easy! I have only great things to say about this hotel!

La stanza era bella e comoda. Abbiamo amato la posizione. Ma abbiamo avuto una esperienza molto irritante con la nostra stanza. Noi abbiamo notato che il blocco di debolt non funzionava realmente sulla nostra porta. Mi piace usare questo per una protezione aggiuntiva. L'ultima notte del nostro soggiorno di 5 notti avevamo una donna che entrava nella nostra stanza mentre cercavamo di dormire a causa di un volo precoce la mattina seguente. Ha detto che era dispiaciuta di averci disturbato e che pensava che questa fosse la sua stanza, apparentemente, che lei l'aveva detto al divano e le hanno appena dato la chiave alla nostra stanza! ?? Non avreste almeno qualche identificazione o verifica che questa fosse la stanza giusta. Era molto inconveniente e ci siamo preoccupati della nostra sicurezza e siamo andati in fretta per il nostro volo. Anche alcune cose da sapere non c'è servizio giornaliero di cameriera, scambio di tovaglioli o riempimento di caffè e abbiamo dovuto chiedere carta da bagno.

The location is great: Walking distance to Metro station and King St. The gentleman at front desk took the time to explain to me how to get to interesting places, and even repeated twice on how to get to the free shuttle for King St. The room is spacious and elegant. The full kitchen is well equipped and shiny. I like that the sink is outside of the shower and toilet room. No problem with hot water. Parking is easy with direct access to my floor. Definitely a great hotel to return to!

Hotel pulito, posizionato difronte al supermercato e locali vari per cenare! Comodo il punto per raggiungere Washington! Camera confortevole con base della lampada con cavetti usb. Colazione niente di particolare! Ne latte caldo, ne croissant, ne creme spalmabili di nessun tipo.

no hot water, maids come banging on your door in the morning even when you blindly book a reservation, attempt to check in at 9pm only to be told I need $50 additional dollars I didn’t have! Ended up checking in around 1am because that’s how long it took for me to scrounge up extra change and personally asked for an extended stay because of the inconvenience and how late we actually got in, nopeeee, woke up around 8am with maids banging on our door every 30mins to the hour. I’ve never been so pissed off in my life

I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

The Morrison House Old Town Alexandria is a boutique hotel in a prime location. I have always wanted to visit and stay in this hotel, but after booking it in advance, unfortunately, I did not get a chance to enjoy it as much as I wanted to. My flight was canceled, rescheduled, and diverted to another destination. Still, in the end, my spouse could enjoy it for one night, and I could make it to retrieve my travel documents before heading to another destination outside of the country. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, the front desk team at The Morrison House Old Town Alexandria was a beacon of assistance. They ensured that my spouse's departure to DCA was smooth and timely, even in the early hours of the morning. Their friendliness and willingness to help as I left the hotel left a lasting impression. The level of service is top-notch, and I would want to return to this hotel to enjoy it with less stress and disconnect for the weekend. Thank you to the front desk team for their understanding and help when needed.

La stanza è pulita e pulita, le strutture sono sempre speciali per il bagno.La colazione ha un buffet o un trucco, i piatti di buffet non sono molto classici, non immaginare la stessa cosa del paese.A piedi, 10 minuti a piedi, sono entrambe le linee blu e gialla alla stazione di King Street, entrambe fino al centro della città.

L'hotel si trova nel centro di Alessandria e offre un servizio eccellente, ma è già invecchiato e le strutture sono mediocre.
