Apartamentos Siesta I

Apartamentos Siesta I mi è piaciuto abbastanza. Io e il mio compagno siamo andati e ci è piaciuta molto la struttura del complesso, sia per gli spazi, le strutture, i servizi e altro. Si trova alla "periferia" del paese ma veramente vicinissimo alla strada con bar, supermercati e porticato, quindi si apprezza che ci sia tranquillità nella zona. Tutto era super buono. Gli unici ma che potrei mettere sono le luci (che non funzionavano bene per noi o erano bruciate), alcuni utensili da cucina (anche se ci sono tutti gli elementi essenziali) e, cosa che non è colpa del posto in sé, il numero di bambini che correvano e urlavano nei corridoi a tutte le ore (tipico di molti complessi turistici). Al di fuori di questi dettagli, tutto è incredibile e ad un prezzo abbastanza modesto. Senza dubbio, se dovessi tornare, lo ripeterei.

On holiday with my wife , we spent 7 nights at the Siesta 1. When we arrived,just after 11pm, the receptionist was very efficient and checked us in quickly. Our room was clean and tidy as to be expected. It was a studio , so it was compact, but we knew what we booked the clue was in the description "Studio" The room was basic but clean and had all the necessary equipment and utensils required. Kettle,toaster ,microwave, etc. If I was being picky, I'd suggest adding some way of making fresh coffee . A French Press could be added cheaply enough , anyway, that is just a suggestion and did not impact my holiday. And the mattresses give no support. As I have said before, the hotel and grounds were very clean, although my room could have benefited from some redecoration, but again nothing major. All the staff we had any contact with, especially the cleaners were pleasant and polite and very helpful with the exception of the bat man on the Red Lion bar, who I found surly at best If it was only once I would have put it down to a bad day but two nights running is a pattern, anyway it did not impact on us as the bar was lifeless with no atmosphere so we only had one drink both times and left. My overall impression is Siesta 1 is a honest budget level destination you get a tidy well kept room with really just about all you can ask for for the price. Rooms cleaned 5 days out of 7 and fresh towels when required. If you want accommodation and you don't expect 5star luxury you won't be disappointed. We were very happy with our stay here and we had a great holiday.

Just came back from a two week stay. What a lovely clean place it was, everywhere was spotless, a big shout out to the cleaners, who worked hard keeping it so clean. Not the most modern apartment but it was good enough for us. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Big shout out to Dylan the life guard, such a great young man and to Laura and Zac always friendly and polite. Pool is massive and always got a sun bed. We were self catering and managed with our little kitchen, we cooked up some nice meals with.our locally grown produce. We ate in the restaurant a couple times too and enjoyed what we had. Loved this place. The accomadation was basic but not as basic as Greece lol. We just jam with what we have and understand we may not have the comforts we have at home and get on with it. I really was amazed how clean and how hard the cleaners worked to give a great service. The toilets in the restsurant, pool etc were spotless. Really love Alcudia and will defo return here for sure. We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Apartamentos Siesta 1. Family holiday. 2 Adults and 14 year old. This hotel was very very good. Clean and tidy. Our room was a Studio and was bigger than I expected it to be, pool view and moden with fridge, hob, microwave and kettle. Room was cleaned daily by friendly staff who did a good job too. The pool was a good size and was always warm, plenty of sunbeds around it and areas slightly away from the pool with palm tree type canopies and sunbeds. Never once did we not get a bed buy the pool and we went down at different times of the days. The bar area beside the pool (The Red Lion) again was very good. All the food we had from there was reasonably priced and was cooked well and well presented. Think on a whole most of the food places in Alcudia were a little bit expensive but it was the same all over so we just went for what we wanted after all we was on holiday. Definitely will be returning to Apartamento Siesta 1 in the future for hopefully another fantastic holiday and time. 10 out of 10 from me. Well done Alcudia you did not disappoint.

I cant praise this hotel enough, had an amazing 7 nights here, rooms are kept clean, perfect size for family of 4. The pool is a big size with lots of loungers around, the night entertainment is amazing, the music is good and the entertainers were fantastic 10/10 My favorite part was the red lion, the food was amazing, fresh and very well presented. The staff were so helpfull and polite also 11/10 Thanks you and we will be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed here for a week with our 15 Yr old son and had a lovely week. We had a one bedroom apartment which was a very good size with separate kitchen area and good sized bathroom. The air con worked brilliantly in the main room and the separate bedroom. There is a safe free which was free of charge, and there was no cost for the WiFi. Pool area was always busy and there was always a queue before 9am of people wanting to get their sunbeds. We only visited the pool in the afternoons and either used the grass areas to sit or found the occasional sun bed. Colber supermarket is around a 5 min walk on the main road to the beach for all you need for groceries. The beach is a bit of a walk but all flat so manageable. Sunbeds are 18.20 euros for 2 beds and a sun umbrella. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the road down to the beach with all different cuisines, around 5 to 10 mins from the hotel. Buses were a bit hit and miss as they always seemed to be running late, or quite busy. Pack plenty of bug spray, despite using ours we have still been bitten by mosquitoes due to the waterways around the area. All in all a very pleasant stay and was as expected.

Positives: We arrived second week in June and weather was hot but manageable. The Siesta I Apartments were perfect for a family holiday and we will definitely be returning! It’s located at the top of the ***** so ideal to walk to beach (15 minutes) and you can get the bus (number 322) to the port or it’s a lovely walk along the beach (40 minutes). The room was a little dated but extremely clean and had everything we needed and expected. We were a family of 4 with two teenage daughters and they managed on the pull out sofa but this was a double bed rather than two separate singles. We paid extra for pool view and had a great view to the pool and mountain. The transfer time was around an hour, which was great. You get dropped off very close by at the roundabout and just have to walk up the main steps. There is an accessible ramp at the front and at the pool area. As it was early June, we never had an issue getting a sunbed. The pool opened at 9am and there were plenty of parasols around the pool and in the garden area - I’m not sure what this will be like mid summer. The parasols are fixed and cannot be moved. There is a lifeguard on duty from 9am-9pm. You are allowed large inflatable rings but no lilos. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean. Room cleaning/towel change is 5 days per week. Every member of staff - cleaning staff, receptionists, lifeguard, entertainment and bar staff were extremely polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We ate at many restaurants on the main ***** and in the port. The Red Lion meals were tasty but the menu of the day finishes early at 4pm. They offer 2-for-1 on evening cocktails until 8:30pm and you get a free cocktail voucher when you check-in. There is a luggage room if you have to vacate your room at 12pm. The rooms have free WiFi, free safety deposit box and air con. There is a small ironing board, clothes airer on balcony and hair dryer. I’ve added a photo of the kitchen area. It has plenty of crockery, pans and utensils. There is a small freezer at the top of the fridge. Negatives - very minor niggles: We couldn’t think of any major negatives and nothing that would put us off returning. The walls in room are very thin and you can hear other guests in the early hours (very loud and inconsiderate guests but this has nothing to do with the hotel) There was a multi use microwave/grill we think it may have had an oven feature, which we wished we had, but couldn’t work out how to use it - but we also didn’t ask! And I’m sure staff would have helped if we had. The air con points towards the children’s sofa bed and whilst we were really hot, we had to turn it off as even on mild, the children were cold during the night. It also drips a lot if left on more than an hour but this wasn’t an issue and cleaner put a towel down for us. We are just back from a lovely week here at siesta 1 apartments. Self catering apartments have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Microwave/grill and a hob and toaster with fridge and small freezer, all you need to make breakfast and a few snacks We loved the pool, no problem at all getting sunbeds at any time , one day we were down after 12 and still managed to get some , we did have to look around and move a few single ones but no issues The pool is great for younger kids , small kids pool that has a barrier separating from adults pool and a splash pool with a big tipping bucket! The adults pool is good to as its shallower around the edges and the majority of the pool so gave our little one more freedom to play without fear of her going too deep!the only thing I would point out is there is a very deep part in the middle of the pool that we found out the hard way so be aware. Lovely staff and always polite , choice of kids club (we didn't use) daily and shows and kids club at night with varied acts. Red lion restaurant downstairs we had dinner and breakfast here on a few occasions and food was good and staff were always nice. Lovely little park you can see from the restaurant so kids can play while you have drink/food On site shop for anything you may need , bigger supermarket down the road a 5/10 min walk for anything else that you needed. Plenty of shops/bars on the ***** and a nice walk down to the beach We took the bus along to the port a few nights much quieter with bombarding people selling things worth a visit. Yes there is a lot of mosquitos but they try the best with the lights that zap and make sure to spray with Citronella . It didn't stop us venturing out. Alcudia is a lovely place and we would return ☀️

We have just come back from our family holiday, stayed for 10 days from the 16th of June I wanted somewhere that was great for kids, for my 3 year olds first holiday and this place fit the bill. We went just before the height of summer season and there was still plenty for him to do, whilst we were there the hotel arranged- Pony riding, sand painting, face painting, kids disco every night, musical chairs, games, balloon animals, parrot show, reptile show and probably lots of other stuff we missed. The entertainment staff are great and amazing with the children, they are a real credit to the hotel! Reception staff were always friendly and helpful Nice sized pool and at the time of the year it wasn't too busy, never had a problem with getting a sun bed. Splash pool area was great and we couldn't get my child away from the park that is conveniently located next to the outside seating area allowing you to have a nice drink in the sun whilst keeping an eye on your child. We stayed in a studio room which was fine for us it's a pretty standered room But has everything you need and was nice and clean, we had family that had booked a bigger room and I definitely think it's worth upgrading as their roo. Was lovely and very spacious, Both rooms had a lovely pool view If we are to ever come back to majorca I'd be staying at the siesta 1 again
