Very nice hotel with very good relaxing vibes. Great for that rural type of trip. Service and food were great.

A beautiful property, super clean and perfect for a getaway corporate retreat. Wonderful breakfast, I tried the Octopus and it was great. It is 15 minutes drive to a beautiful beach. Friendly and helpful reception. The owners are amazing and attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you want to explore the region or just excellent accommodations

Delightful stay at this beautiful hotel. Very relaxing. We were in a Queen suite which was huge and amazingly designed and lovely views of the rural area. The staff were lovely, friendly and professional. The restaurant was great. Food delicious both for breakfast and dinner. Great location for relaxing, lovely pool area, although did n't use it as when we visited as it was n't quite warm enough to swim in. A couple of slight negatives were that the bathroom was dark and the glass door to the toilet area was very heavy with a tiny handle to open it. The terraces from the rooms were not very private. Despite the two negatives we would highly recommend. Very close by to the Nazares area and a short drive to Obidos.

Amazing and enjoyable stay. The basic room was big, clean with all the facilities needed. The Spa was private and the breakfast was incredible: fresh fruit, products and beverages. The receptionist staff was very kind and friendly. The light of the bathroom a little bit dark.

Stayed here for one night while taking in the area surrounding Batalha / Alcobaça / Nazaré and found this to be the perfect place to rest our head for the night. The beds were comfortable, the design was aesthetically pleasing, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location was ideally suited to visit all three places (two of which are listed as UNESCO sites). The staff were also quite accommodating, having rectified a small issue with the wifi efficiently and with extremely grace. The only slight drawback that I can mention during our stay was that the water temperature varied quite frequently, but that can be easily forgotten once the rest of the property and its many amenities are taken into account. Highly recommended. And although we didn’t manage to have dinner on the property, we’d highly recommend Pangeia in Nazaré if you’re ever in the region; a perfect compliment to your stay.

For our trip to Caldas da Rainha and Cela Nova, we chose the "Hotel Rural Vale d'Azenha" for our overnight stay, this is a very quiet and rural location, beautiful and private parking at the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, nice spotless rooms, with a nice view. Since it was my birthday, we also enjoyed the available restaurant, delicious food and as icing on the cake a surprise for my birthday, for which we would like to thank the kitchen staff, this hotel is definitely recommended for those in the neighborhood to visit. In any case, we will go back. Sorry but lately it is impossible for me to made an upload from my reduced pictures, If have tryed several times, but half way the uload stoppes every time.!!!!!!!

Small hotel in the countryside but only about 7 miles from Nazare the main resort nearby. Location is ideal if you like to dip into a resort, but you like peace and quiet in the evening. The hotel has beautiful views across the countryside to the sea. Stunning sunsets. The hotel has an infinity pool, spa and gym. The rooms are roomy enough ( there were 3 of us). Beds comfortable. Air con free and very good. Each room has a balcony area (it is a shared balcony that runs the length of the hotel) Ample free parking at the hotel. We stayed here for 12 nights (more than the average stay at this type of hotel) We paid for half board (dinner, bed and breakfast). We could choose what ever we wanted off the al a carte menu. A large bottle of water was included and one drink each eg soft drink or beer or glass of wine included with meal price. We got to know the staff in the restaurant who could not be friendlier. We also got to know the owners. They arranged with the chef different meals for us as they were concerned that we would get bored with the menu as we were there so long. The meals were delicious. Obviously they had no obligation to do that for us. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They researched a few things for us. Overall the staff were friendly and could not do more for us. If you want somewhere to be away from it all and feel treated, this is the place. Plenty to explore in the area eg history, museums, historical towns. But you can be back on the tourist trail in a few miles if that’s what you want. The local small town Alcobaca has plenty of history, a huge monastery, local cafes. Yet also the usual supermarkets on the outskirts.

Villa que nos atribuíram foi o ideal para 2 adultos e crianças. Espaçosa, com toda a comodidade e luz. A dois passos do Spa e de uma bela piscina. A restauração e pequeno almoço são excelentes. E o staff é super atencioso. Toda a envolvente é ideal para uns dias fora das grandes cidades.

Vielleicht 15‘ ausserhalb von Nazaré ist dieses Hotel. Es ist auf den ersten Eindruck recht modern und auf jeden Fall sehr ruhig. Der Empfang war nett und da wir direkt buchten, bekamen wir noch einen Getränkebon für eine kleine auserwählte Getränkekarte - reicht aber völlig aus für ein Gratisgetränk. Die gebuchte Suite war sehr gross und das Ausziehsofa für unseren Sohn (16) bequem. Das Zimmer war gross, geräumig und mit dem separaten WC auch ideal zu 3. Das Frühstück war überschaubar, aber es hatte alles was man braucht - alles sehr lecker. Die Früchte waren teils etwas faul, aber das sieht man beim Schneiden evtl. auch nicht. Der Kaffee: üblicher Automatenkaffee UND frischer Bohnenkaffee mit Schäumchen. Bei der Reinigung waren wir ab dem 2. Tag nicht sicher, ob der Staubsauger gebraucht wurde…wir denken nicht. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer seht ihr bei den Bilder. Der Pool wenig besucht und sehr ruhig und die Sauna darf man nur privat /alleine brauchen, d.h. anmelden. Die Hausordnung für die Sauna war in einem lieblosen Plastik unschön angeklebt, kein 4* Nievau, auch wenn natürlich ein Detail. Auch sonst könnte man etwas mehr Sorge tragen und mehr in den Unterhalt der Anlage investieren. Das Moderne war dann plötzlich nicht mehr so modern. Beim Checkout gab es für uns 3 noch 2 Cookies…da könnte man etwas aufmerksamer sein und merken wir waren zu 3. da. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen.
