Ci siamo andati quasi per caso, Alcantarilla è un piccolo paese all'interno della costa ma dista pochi km dalle spiagge e da località più famose. L'hotel è molto particolare, alla mano, non un 4 stelle come servizi ma sicuramente come simpatia. Siamo stati accolti da Julie e dalla sua famiglia e ci siamo sentiti liberi e come a casa. Se dovessi tornare in Algarve tornerei anche in questo luogo magico, un po' da curare ma sempre magico.

E' difficile riuscire a descrivere la magia di questo che non definirei nemmeno un hotel, perchè è davvero qualcosa di più. Gentilezza e ospitalità sono di casa, e infatti è proprio cosi che ci si sente La struttura è difficile da descrivere in quanto per capire la bellezza del posto è necessario soggiornarci e vederlo dal vivo. Le camere sono molto ampie, è presente anche una splendida piscina, un comodo parcheggio auto da sottolineare anche la posizione comoda e strategica per raggiungere molte spiagge e località dell'Algarve. Spero di tornare molto presto e rivivere l'energia che questo posto mi ha dato.

Hotel molto affascinante realizzato in un'antica casa di campagna. Grandi spazi e arredamento speciale con pezzi antichi orientali. Piscina top con grande area per bambini. Facile da trovare, appena fuori dall'uscita dell'autostrada. Relax e tranquillità in un posto strategico per visitare l'Algarve

Julie, the front desk person, was amazing. She was so helpful with everything. The grounds are also very pretty, with beautiful olive trees, flowering shrubs and cacti. The breakfast was good, but a 10 euro uncharge. That said, there were many things that we did not like about Hotel Capela Das Artes. The rooms were perfumed which gave both me and my wife a headache, the wifi was super spotty, the shower barely worked, the beds were hard. The hotel is going for a funky artistic vibe, but was a hodgepodge of things that were felt trended towards the tacky.

Nice territory with olive trees, but all buildings and rooms are worn out. Maybe somebody thinks it’s nice, kind of vintage, but it’s not comfortable staying at all, ROOMS: outdated. Two beds shifted together, but it didn’t become one bed. Rather spacious bedroom, bathroom isn’t big. Inconvenient sink, old style shower. There is terrace or balcony in the room. Room is equipped with a safe and teapot. LOCATION: 15min drive to the nearest beach, there are three restaurants nearby, Aldi supermarket in front of the hotel. FOOD: breakfast 8:30-11:00am €12 per person. FACILITIES: wi-fi is ok in room, but not so good in the terrace; outdoor swimming pool STAFF: polite, but not very welcoming. Be notified that reception deck works until 7pm.

This hotel is worth a stay. And a long one, too. It is an oasis of peace, beautifully managed by the manager Julie. She helped us in every possible way, is attentive to every detail and devotes herself to each guest with elegance and care. The breakfast is rich and the food is of impeccable quality. As experienced travellers, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Despite reading earlier encouraging reviews the hotel surpassed our expectations. Small hotel, about 30 bedrooms. Undoubted character of history & culture in the buildings and furnishings. Friendly & obliging staff. You can have a personal tour round the original buildings and its story.
Opened in 2022 is the impressive Crista Galli restaurant for evenings. Daily housekeeping except Sundays.
Disabled access would be worth enquiring on.
