The Bridge

I'll start with negative comments: 1) The stairs to the third floor that everyone writes about are true. It is cramped, even for a very thin person, it is difficult to go up with a suitcase. 2) Lack of evacuation plans. In case of fire, it is not clear whether to evacuate through the fire exit on the terrace (not sure if it was there) or through the narrow staircase. 3) Broken shower cubicle in the room, which no one fixed in three days (i reported it immediatly). 4) The 24 hour receptionist is “in another hotel, you can text him”. 5) Poor room cleaning. On one day, the room wasn't cleaned until 3pm (i came back at 1500 and found it not cleaned yet) and then, the service just made the beds but didn't clean anything else. 6) They forget to put coffee capsules and after 3pm, “all the ladies have already left the hotel” 7) An iron for ironing clothes, with bare wires, “But it works, I checked,” a hotel employee told us. A second one with missing parts, it worked too, I checked it out 8) There are no shelves or racks, if you have two suitcases and two people you will be left with no space at all. It would be possible to make a shelf for suitcases above the toilet, for example. 9) Not enough electrical plug sockets (one socket near the bed) 10) Smoking is allowed on the terrace, when your neighbor is smoking like a chimney, you can't open your window because the smoke comes into your room as well POSITIVE: 1) Good, german air conditioning. 2) Price (subjective, lets call it affordable) 3) Convenient location for me. 4) Rough cleaning of the air conditioner filter was done the same day after we asked about it. The air conditioner was dusty (bad for allergy sufferers) 5) Large terrace shared with neighbors (four rooms on our side and 8 rooms on the third floor in general)

Very bad experience no clean every where full of dust and dust and very small space

Es wurde kein einziges mal das Zimmer gereinigt, die Zimmer sind sehr Hellhörig, man hat nie seine Ruhe. Aus der Dusche ist das Wasser getropft, hat das komplette Zimmer unter Wasser gesetzt. Auch wurden nie die Handtücher gewechselt. Leider ein totaler Reinfall.

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel in March 2025. Yes, it is not a luxury category, we did not expect it, but for the price we paid we got much more. We booked a superior room, we got the 1st floor. There is enough space for 2 people. The bathroom in the room is separated by a sliding door. Towels were changed every day, bed linen was not changed for 7 days. There was a capsule coffee machine in the room, which was replenished every day and a bottle of water 2 times a week. We took dishes from the kitchen and cooked our own breakfast and dinner. The code for self-registration is given on the day of arrival after 3pm. When we had questions, they always helped us and answered quickly. They made concessions, allowed us to leave luggage in the room on the Last day until 12. We are very grateful and pleased with this experience. The only negative I can note is poor sound insulation

Clean- comfort- aircond -wifi-not source of info First it is necessary to clarify The Bridge is a Hostel not a Hotel. I chose this place for the closeness of my Congress , located in Centro Cultural de Belem, gave me the opportunity to go there walking. The room was clean, small private bath, air conditioner, wifi and TV, enough for me. The only thing I missed was having 24 hours concerge, something you have in all hotels , considering it was my first time in Lisboa and I needed a source of information. The breakfast was reasonable but very limited time. The bridge fit to my Congress attendance.
