Hotel in zona Vegas Bar, Albufeira

Arrived on our first family holiday with our baby booked 1 bedroom pool view apartment. It was ready on our arrival and as described very clean and comfortable. A number of days our dream holiday turned into nightmare….. it was 4.28am and we were woken by those who were staying in the room above us laughing, jumping around, moving furniture it continued for over an hour as it was our first disturbance and sounded like a few young girls we gave them the benefit of doubt that was was going to be a once off… the following night not a sound however my god did they make up for it the following night/early morning it started at 5:45am our baby woke and my husband had no option but to go to reception however it continued. After breakfast I went to reception to speak with management again explained my grievance only to be asked if I wanted to change room now due to fact it was no fault of ours and traveling with a baby I genuinely did not see why we as a family should move room (I would be of the option the party causing the problem should be moved) !!! We received no satisfaction from reception apology was given. On returning to our apartment later that afternoon there was a printed apology along with 3 apples 3 oranges and bottle of water for inconvenience we had suffered… whilst we appreciated there token it genuinely didn’t make up for the disturbances. Unfortunately I won’t be returning

Fantastico dieci stelle staff super attento sono stato con 3 bambini e sono riuscito a fornire un ottimo sito dell'appartamento. Raccomando vivamente. Ripetere per l'anno senza dubbio. Sono tutti congratulazioni.

Gli appartamenti si trovano fronte spiaggia quindi la posizione è eccellente. Le camere sono spazione e pulite dotate di terrazzino e bagno privato, unica nota stonata è che il wi fi prende solo nella struttura principale. La colazione è servita all ottavo piano dell'edificio principale, c è un ottima vista panoramica. Il parcheggio è pubblico ma intorno alla struttura si trova abbastanza bene. In generale buona esperienza e spesa nella media.

Albergo che ci ha soddisfatte oltre ogni aspettativa essendo anche una vacanza di ben 2 settimane. Pulizia ovunque, personale molto cordiale e attento sia alla reception che al servizio bar e colazione nonché per la pulizia camere. Camera: spaziosa, letti particolarmente confortevoli sia per la morbidezza della biancheria sia per materassi di ottima qualità e dimensione così come per la selezione di cuscini. Ottima anche la dotazione di un frigobar e di macchinetta per caffè o the. Impianto di climatizzazione perfettamente funzionante (fondamentale nella caldissima stagione). Unico appunto: per un soggiorno lungo come il nostro (eravamo due amiche di mezza età) sarebbe stato più comodo poter disporre di armadi grandi e chiusi mentre c'era solo uno spazio minimo sopra il frigo ed abbiamo tenuto vestiti nelle valige per non creare confusione. Ci è stata assegnata una camera al 4°piano con affaccio sul giardino. Ciò ci ha consentito di riposare sempre al massimo perché i suoni della vicina discoteca non arrivavano. Utile anche il balcone. Una nota di merito per la prima colazione: ricca, variegata, dolce e salata, con prodotti di ottima qualità, anche locali (es. spremute fresche di arance, frutta fresca, pasteis de nata..) oltre a pancake o uova cucinati al momento. Accogliente area piscina che offre comode sdraio o maximaterassi da esterno e spazi verdi in un giardino molto curato che offre zone d'ombra.

Accoglienza gentile ed efficiente. Personale competente e dispobibile. Il residence è molto grande, e questo, pur essendo frequentatisismo, consente comunque una certa tranquillità. I ristoranti vanno prenotati per tempo, sono affollatissimi. Poco fornito, ma sufficiente per le emergenze il Mini Market, ma ci sono numerosi grandi supermercati nei dintorni. Qualche piccola carenza di manutenzione negli appartamenti, comunque grandi, luminosi, comodi e forniti di tutto il necessario.

We just returned from 9 days at Alfagar. My husband, two daughters (age 8 & 11) and I stayed in a one bedroom, half board option THE ROOM The girls slept on the sofa bed. Important to note: not all rooms have a sofa bed that actually pulls out with a proper mattress for two. After my younger daughter complained about sleeping on the sofa (my oldest was on the mattress/cot section), management did bring a second proper mattress and cot to the room. It made a big difference. Loved having a small toaster oven, besides the microwave. We were on a ground floor room (#006). We faced the main pool and loved loved loved being able to sit outside and see the girls in the pool or pull loungers up to our grass and easily use the restroom. I highly recommend this room. Sure you don’t get amazing views, but the convenience is second to none with the kids. THE FOOD Breakfast was fine. Nothing special but everyone could find something they liked. For dinner, We went back and forth between the Colina and Aparthotel (across the street, 7 minute walk) buffet restaurants depending on the theme night. Our favorites were Portuguese and Brazilian nights. I was really looking forward to enjoying more seafood, but a lot of the fish options were in sauces, that I didn’t care for too much. Our least favorite was Chef’s choice night and Asian night. I was really annoyed at having to buy soft drinks, juice for the kids at dinner. For half board that should really be included. Tip: take a 20 min walk to the Intermarket, or Uber there for €4 and pick up groceries for lunch. We went back twice for the delicious prepared roast chicken and rice. We made quesadillas, sandwiches and salads. My entire family loved it and it was great value. Another tip is to pick up ice pops, and ice cream bars at that supermarket, instead of purchasing on site - you’ll save a lot ENTERTAINMENT / POOLS The entertainment and pools were the highlight of the stay! Bellux Entertainment runs the animation program and their team do a fantastic job of engaging everyone - kids and adults! My girls looked at the activities schedule every day, always found something to do - ping pong, water polo, bocce, molky, etc. A special shout out to Luis (who manages the kids program) whose passion for working with kids is clear. We was like our girls’ BFF by the end of our stay. Thank you for making great memories for them! I was so grateful not to wake up at the crack of dawn to reserve sun beds. We hung out mostly at the colina main pool & the aparthotel main pool as that was where most of the activities took place and also the pool with slides at Colina. OVERALL If we were to return to this part of Algarve we would stay here again, although not sure if we would do half board again. Tip: book directly on the website for a small discount.

Amazing place, 2 big bedrooms we booked and they were huge. Clean in general. Had all kitchen and catering amenities. Staff was kind. For the price it was a steal. Highly recommend this place. It’s about 12 min drive to albufeira center. There’s a Aldi in 5 min drive very handy. The place has a common swimming pool we did not use it as it was still a bit chilly and we were tired too. Lot of parking around inside the villa. The only downsides I can say and they are minor the shower could be slightly better spray that’s it. 5/5 for me.

My 5 stars goes to the apartments not Vilamoura itself. One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in A credit to the cleaners from the apartments to the public areas all spotless. Free air con included Rooms large and spacious, hob and microwave but no oven. Pool is freezing even in July but lovely once your dunked in! Plenty of sun beds. Spar around 5 mins walk. Use Uber much cheaper than local taxis reception will tell you not to use but just ignore we had no issue in 10 days , Uber for up to 4 people around 5 euros we got dropped off at restaurant il trio and walked down the steps to the harbour . Turn right by the Irish bar use the steps to the right this will bring you to a lovely square of restaurants. Vilamoura itself looks the part but I would not return. Look up and you will see the massage parlours and the **** supermarket, up the side and back streets you will see the gentlemen’s clubs and massage parlours with an atm conveniently situated outside of each. Although this will cause you no problems I couldn’t help but notice the girls outside the massage parlour, drunken men leaving barely able to walk never mind anything else ! On the back and side streets the girls do stand in the doorway calling to the men as they walk past, this will cause you no bother as they are spaced out and it’s done very discreetly, I just find it contradicts what Vilamoura claims to be. It’s easy to just ignore it and not see it if you choose not to. I’m sure it is happens everywhere I’ve just never noticed it before. The marina is lovely, food expensive nice for a few drinks sat overlooking the marina. Would never return though.
