Varandas de Albufeira

Stayed here for five nights in August 2025. The hotel is ideally located about half way between old town and new town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless! The breakfast buffet was sensational and we also ate lunch at the poolside bar each day. There is plenty nearby- large supermarket across the street and we even played padel tennis in the court’s conveniently located right next door! We really cannot fault this hotel- a wonderful stay! Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 2 nights 3 days and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at (and I have been to many many hotels). There’s so much to cover, I guess I’ll start with the staff first. The customer service in this hotel is just exceptional. The staff are super friendly and kind and they are always there to help whenever you need them with a smile on their face. We felt so welcomed it felt like we were all a big family. The breakfast was also very very good. Nice variety there was something for everyone. The freshly made cakes and pastries as well as the fresh fruit were just top notch. We never left with an empty stomach. The room exceeded my expectations. It was just massive with lots of room for anything you can think of. It was extremely clean and it smelt very fresh in the room. The bed was super comfortable as well. The location was also great as it was right in the middle of the new town and old town (around 15mins walk) and around 15 mins walk to the beach. There’s a shopping mall around the corner from the hotel which makes it super easy to get any essentials you may need. Overall I will definitely be coming back to the hotel. What an unexpected find. Centrally located 5 mins by taxi to both old and new town! Staff were brilliant, rooms were a decent size with balcony and lovely walk in shower. Group size of 18. Lots of other friendly groups and no issues throughout the stay. Bar was reasonably priced. 5euros for a taxi to either of the towns or beach. Pool was a good size and plenty of beds. Will definitely return.
