Ho soggiornato con il mio ragazzo in questo piccolo bed&breakfast ad Albufeira per 4 notti. La posizione è ottima perché è vicinissima alla spiaggia di Albufeira e al centro ma lontano dalla confusione e dal rumore dei pub in città. Sicuramente il punto di forza è Guilherme, uno dei gestori, estremamente accogliente e disponibile. Ci ha dato preziosi consigli su ristoranti e spiagge da visitare. Colazione semplice ma gustosa!

siamo arrivati il pomeriggio del 29 settembre. accolti gentilmente ci fa fare il giro delle parti comuni e ci fa visitare la terrazza con vista. Depositati i bagagli usciamo per un tour e per cenare, al rientro, verso le 23, sorpresa! Sul letto ci sono gli scarafaggi, chiamo il responsabile che arriva in breve tempo, gli faccio vedere il cadavere di quello che siamo riusciti a catturare ma sostiene che si tratta di un grillo. è vero che è professore di storia e non di scienze naturali, e che probabilmente avevo lasciato la porta aperta. Mi era impossibile dormire in una stanza infestata da scarafaggi e a notte fonda cerco un'altra sistemazione. La mattina dopo mi rivolgo a Booking che chiede spiegazione al gestore il quale dopo 3 richieste non ha mai risposto e furbescamente ha cancellato la mia prenotazione come se non mi fossi presentata impedendomi così di rilasciare il commento su booking e di ricevere la restituzione del pagamento

No bedroom type furniture in room, ie, wardrobe, chest of draws, bed only, a "hatstand with 2 coat hangers on it and an old kitchen cupboard with a cooker hood over it ! The room did have 2 paper cups, supplied, no bottled water. Only one set of keys. The "night entrance" consisted of about 30 very steep steps to accommodation. Headboard of bed not secured, balanced on bed ! No bedside lamps. Bathroom , good shower, tiniest sink ever with no plug. I could go on and on ! A man who worked there said he could explain, he could not ! Two nights was more than enough. An" over priced dump". A disgrace to the Portuguese Tourism industry. I have never stayed in such a "rip off" anywhere else in the country.

It was described a a delux room, it was not even basic, the room size was decribed as 16 square meters, it didn't tell you that included the en-suite and the corridor, which left 7.5 square meters for the bedroom area. There was no wardrobe, no bedside tables, just a sigle chest of drawers, no safe. there was literally 12 inches space at the end of the bed and 24 inches and 8 inches either side. The shower cubicle was dripping on the outside and flooding the bathroom, towards the end the drip turned into a stream. The hotel is described as 'on the beach' it is actually a 10 minute walk to the beach. I would never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone. This need to be dealt with under the trade descriptions act.

This small hotel was our "home away from home" during our stay in Algarve. It is reminiscient of a small art gallery with art on all walls and roofs. Very clean, and super location close to beach and old Town. Good breakfast with homemade cakes and delicious orange marmelade. Small rooms which require some agility. Good location to get around the Old Town. Guilherme was a great host, very friendly and happy to help. Bedroom and bathroom were very small and there were no wardrobes although we noticed in passing that other rooms had them. The beds were made every day, rooms cleaned and fresh towels left. I think this place would be ideal for a weekend or short trip but a bit too small for a full week. Also, we thought the breakfast was minimal, toast, cheese and ham on offer most days and a couple of cakes although at the weekend Guilherme did make a lovely Portuguese dessert which I enjoyed. Cleanliness is my main concern on holiday and this was very good in that respect. Also price was good if you know what to expect.

Well placed in the upper part of Old Town, near Peneco beach. Very quiet place, very good service and very friendly and helpful staff, and a fabulous homemade breakfast. Second time there, and hopefully more to come. Thanks Guilherme for your sympathy.

Really enjoyed staying here. Good room and good location. Guilherme who is the manager very helpful and friendly. Even sent a message before we arrived with local info. Great home made breakfast also. Would love to visit again at some stage.
