I wanted to do a review as before we left I was extremely nervous reading some of the negative ones on here. So we went for 10 night family holiday. 2 adult and 3 kids (16, 10 & 6) We arrived at 1am, checked in with security & a mini van brought us to our apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by our apartment. It was 2 bed, 1 bathroom 1 ensuite (but the same size as bathroom) apartment with loads if space. I couldn't believe the space! Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster,coffee machine, fridge and separate freezer. There was also a washing machine & dryer. Plenty of towels and hair dryer in one of the bathrooms. Aircon in bedrooms and living room. Good size comfortable couch/ sofa bed. T.v in living room and bedroom. An extendable kitchen table & 6 chairs. Garden terrace with garden furniture. The resort itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It is very big with a good few hills. We didn't mind this but something to bare in mind if you struggle with hills, are in a wheelchair or need extra walking assistance. There was a few creepy crawlies/ spiders/ ants but this didn't bother me. It's a garden village not a 5* hotel complex. There was no building work being carried out when we were there. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Even a night time. There are 4 pools over the resort in different areas. Each area is spotlessly clean and have a snack bar/ restaurant. We spent most of our days at La Pergola poolarea as the kids just preferred it here. There was always a few sunbeds available. Food was lovely, staff we just so nice & friendly, cocktails were good too! Our first morning we had breakfast at Casa Azul. Food & service was excellent and the view was beautiful. We had dinner on two night in O Pavilhão. The food here was exceptional!!! Could not fault one thing. And the staff were amazing, so friendly. I genuinely could not recommend this place enough! Mini market was handy. A bit pricey but had all the essentials. We went to Pingo Doce supermarket about 10min walk from the resort to do a big shop when we arrived. There was a fruit stall along the way and the peaches here with amazing!!! Staff at reception were always very friendly and helpful. We got a local taxi to the Old Town most days, which cost 5e as we needed a 5/6 seater for us all. We got it to taxi rank 1, it was just a 2 min walk from the main square. I tried Uber one two occasions and it was just a disaster so I stuck with the local service and they were friendly, quick and efficient. Never let us down! When we were leaving we got a taxi from taxi rank 2 a few nights and this cost 6e. The weather was amazing while we were here also. Temperatures ranging from 26°- 31°. My only criticism would be the level of cleaning done in the apartment before we arrived. There were a few stains on the counter tops, fridge & freezer doors, inside the fridge. I booked this hotel for friends for a 70th and a 60th - disappointment was an understatement! I used this hotel many times before on friends holidays, large groups or just a couple of us. It’s been maybe 5 years since going - well I was totally disgusted when we got there after recommending to my friends we go there. 4 of us went and when we got our first room it was disgusting! There was paint bubbled and peeling off the dresser, the sink was cracked in many places (not just crazed) bacteria city! We couldn’t close the balcony door or bathroom door, it was truly very grim and soooo old looking. We got them to change our room and said they’d move us but not our friends and they hadn’t even got their room yet! (They obviously knew it wasn’t going to be good) They were given the room next to our first one, there was blood smothering the lamp shade which they just ‘cleaned to the best they could’ but wouldn’t move them. The sunbeds were ALL decrepit, material was all broken, there was not one sunbed in any sort of good condition. We were therefore forced to go to the beach where it was €19 for 2 beds. The music played round the pool was so loud we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk to each other as the speaker was sat by the bar/eating area so we couldn’t stay for lunch during the day and had to leave to go elsewhere. Apparently they are doing up the hotel - very slowly and have done the top floor! That’s no good to anyone being put on the lower floors. They aren’t doing up the urgent things that need attention which is such a shame. We asked for a hairdryer as none in either room and were told to come back tomorrow….we went and bought one but our friends went back the next day and there were none to give out. The last day we asked they opened the cupboard were meant to be kept and the cupboard door fell off!!! Place was falling apart The older lady on reception had the absolute hump with us going back and forth with complaints and asking for help which should be an apology and do all you can to help guests….customer service was totally out the window! She acted like we were just being nuisances….

Abbiamo visitato l'inizio di dicembre per un soggiorno di 5 notti. Check-in è stato veloce e facile, la signora alla ricezione ci ha detto tutto quello che dovevamo sapere circa le strutture e dove erano. Non abbiamo dovuto pagare alcun deposito al check-in, come menzionato in una precedente recensione. Ci siamo trasferiti in appartamento 220, e siamo stati molto sorpresi dalla dimensione dell'appartamento e molto felici con le strutture cucinali. La nostra visione era della zona della piscina, che non abbiamo usato con l'essere Dec e un po' più freddo, ma sembravano grandi, puliti e abbondanti letti solari, ecc. L'appartamento era molto pulito, due piccoli conci, i letti erano letti singoli spinti insieme, non mi piace questo in nessun hotel quando è una coppia di prenotazioni. E la doccia era solo calda per un certo tempo, che era un po' fastidiosa per chi amava una doccia calda lunga. Poiché era fuori stagione, c'era un sacco di manutenzione che si stava facendo intorno ai terreni, manutenzione di piscina e pittura all'esterno degli appartamenti, quindi immagino che il posto sarà guardare bello e fresco per l'estate 😀 La posizione è in più di un Area residenziale, un breve viaggio Uber alla città antica o marina. Wi-Fi funzionava bene. Per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato siamo stati più che felici con il nostro soggiorno a Patel Village e saremmo tornati.

Ve lo consiglio. Hotel che si affavcia sul mare camera ottimo. Escursioni a buon prezzo. Ho. Visitato lisbona tavira.lagos il mercato si villamora e da. Vedere ottimo staff molto disponibile peccato che ho avuto. Poco tempo lonconsiglio

Una settimana fantastica a Oura Praia, io e mia moglie celebrarono il 25° anniversario del matrimonio e, come sorpresa, la famiglia è arrivata per 4 giorni. Bob alla ricezione era brillante nel aiutarmi a organizzare le camere, e poi Rosemary era magnifica con le mie nipoti e nipoti. Brillante hotel e personale molto amichevole. Non potevano davvero fare abbastanza per noi. Torneremo presto.

Questa struttura è situata in posizione strategica molto comoda per arrivare nella città vecchia a piedi e come partenza con l'auto per i vari luoghi da visitare. Anche la spiaggia di Albufeira si può raggiungere a piedi e poi c'è un ascensore pubblico. La colazione è ottima sia per il dolce che per il salato. Personale gentile e buona la pulizia, cambiano gli asciugamani tutti i giorni. Unico neo è un hotel ormai vecchio nello stile e nell'arredamento, dovrebbe essere rifatto da cima a fondo ma probabilmente i prezzi aumenterebbero non di poco, perchè oltretutto vanta di una panorama sull'oceano molto bello. Noi avevamo la camera sull'oceano ma anche dalla hall si vede. La piscina sembra del '15/'18 e i lettini sembrano quelli del Titanic. Personalmente a me interessava nuotare nell'oceano e perciò non è stato un problema.

At best its a 4star property. During our stay hotel wasnt at its best, so ill put 3.5 stars. Hotel entrance looks like a train station waiting room. For a moment we thought that we are underground as its dark everywhere inside the hotel. Toilets were smelly on the entrance ground, Windows were cleaned on Christmas last year i think. Dirty floors. Rooms are dingy, but spacious.. Lots of cupboard space. you cant use the mirrors in bath area as its too dark. Water in Toilet bowl keeps on going unless you fiddle with the push buttons. TV Remote was filthy. Towels are from the 10th century, use with care! Toiletries are basic brands, nothing oo la la! Breakfast is good, not excellent. Theres a live station for omelettes and pancakes. Coffee from nescafe machines with pods, again not very 5 star standard. Stay here if you have a good price deal but not high expectations. DO NOT EXPECT 5 STAR SERVICE! You have been warned.
