Great value for money. We stayed at the resort for two days with family. The best thing about the place is the lake shore view from all rooms. The staff at the resort make it very comfortable On reaching ,we were received by Mr Ramesh , who helped us for activities like speed boat ride and shikara ride . One of the best shikara was arranged which was beautifully decorated with red velvet seats. We took two hours ride in the evening navigating through the backwaters . Next day we took a local government owned boat ride towards the city. The experience of travelling in the inland waterways system was amazing. People were very helpful in helping up around with jetty and stops The hotel arranged for kayaking next morning at very decent rates. We were dropped by hotel staff at kayaking points. The hotel manager and kitchen staff were very courteous and have us fishing equipment as well The resort has amazing view and is located little away from city which provides a more serene quiet atmosphere. Being vegetarian the hotel staff helped us by ordering some items on Zomato. If you compare the cost vis-à-vis location and options available to explore than you can truly say it as value for money.

Excellent location, beautiful facade, good photography points. They have a lot of activities - some chargeable and one can just spend a day here. They also have family game evenings which is a perfect way of mingling with fellow guests while have fun. However, there was no water arrangement and we were told by hotel staff that we need to go to the restaurant to get water bottles. It would have been ideal to have basic amenities arranged when arranging events or call the restaurant to send some bottles ! The property of this size and beauty needs to be maintained. Mosquitoes especially around the pool were a big put off. Minimal lighting especially around the pool did not help either. Surprisingly they do not provide pool tubes/ floats, but ask guests to purchase it ! Staff is courteous but not prompt. So much so during complimentary high tea, the staff moved out while the guests were still sitting at the end. Rooms are very ordinary- no decor or aesthetics. Mattress are sacking, and double bed has 2 different mattresses making the bed uncomfortable in the middle. Food is very average, buffet menus for various meals are not lavish. We wanted to opt for Ala carte at dinner, but were told it will take atleast 30 mins prep and we had to compulsorily opt for buffet. Most of the dishes required refill during buffet time which the staff was not very prompt at and had to ask the staff to refill it. We had to wait for 15-20 mins to get Kerala Paratha. To conclude, a lot is left to be desired. Given the beauty this property encompasses, I wonder if it was run by a better management like Taj, etc. , it would have been one of the finest properties around.

Very, very good hotel. It’s four star with a high end five star service and a three star price. The staff has been so helpful and correct in every aspect. Rooms top notch. Bathroom the same. The in-house restaurant “Rasoi”: what a delight. With again a delightful staff. Every dish we had was excellent, be it Indian or Western. After a four days stay we are sad to move on. It may sound over the top but every word is true.

Aveva una esperienza di soggiorno medio. . La proprietà non ha una spiaggia privata. Ma è solo 2 minuti a piedi. . Opzioni alimentari molto limitate e piatti devono essere prenotati in anticipo perché ci vuole tempo per preparare. Piscina non sembrava molto pulita. Non abbiamo visto alcuna sicurezza alla porta durante la notte, un po' spaventosa, perché i dipendenti rimangono al retro del resort.La proprietà è piccola e non ha nessun altro attrezzamento che una piscina.

Dopo anni di viaggi, questo resort è sicuramente tra i nostri preferiti. Quello che ci ha subito affascinati è la bellezza della natura: le abitazioni sono immerse nel verde e nella pace, tra centinaia di alberi diversi nei quali vivono uccelli, farfalle, scoiattoli. Stupendi la piscina ed i ristoranti. Il personale è sempre accogliente e sorridente, la gentilezza regna ovunque! Un applauso alla cucina sana e variata, non ci sono parole per descriverne il gusto, i profumi e la presentazione impeccabile. Abbiamo molto apprezzato le spiegazioni di Shibu, naturalista ed eccellente fotografo, il quale ci ha condiviso con passione l'avvincente mondo dell'ornitologia. Interessante e divertente il corso di cucina Kerala style di Alvin, che dopo aver raccolto i prodotti freschi dell'orto ci ha insegnato a trasformarli in piatti stellati. Lo yoga è stato un vero regalo di inizio giornata, grazie al maestro per la professionalità e la precisione. A coronare il tutto, i rigeneranti e benefici massaggi Ayurveda. Grazie di cuore ad ogni persona che col suo amorevole lavoro ci ha permesso questo soggiorno indimenticabile. Arrivederci a tutti! Enrica e Francesco.
