Hotel in zona Ciutat Talaiòtica de Torralba, Alaior

Ci siamo sentiti davvero i benvenuti nel castello di Rafael e Anna. Camera piccola ma pulita e dotata di tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Solo il box doccia era molto stretto, ma ci siamo semplicemente adattati. Asciugamani freschi e pulizia della camera tutti i giorni. Ho apprezzato la cucina di Anna 2 volte. Menu semplice ma di buon gusto

We booked 2 nights at the beginning of our tour of Menorca and 2 nights at the end at this hotel! On arrival we were greeted by Marina who was lovely, she was very informative and attentive! She told us we had been designated room 6 for both our stays! The reception area was very decorative and charming with the original old wall! Marina showed us the rooftop, it all looked like it needed work doing too it, not well maintained or clean looking! On entering our room 6, it was modern but not done to a high standard it was a bit tacky! It was very scruffy, and the shower was disgusting! The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was pristine! So we decided to stay! As we were returning we didn’t approach the reception with our issues, just in case we couldn’t get another hotel when we were due to return! That was our mistake, we should have stated it was not what we expected from a 4 Star Hotel! Breakfast was just ok, no toast just rolls! Very limited selection, to a handful of berries and a small plate of cheese and ham & small plate of fresh fruit! The smallest selection I have ever seen! Coffee was very good, extra hot milk, no problem! No replenishing of items so be early! Once we had left the Hotel and moved to our next destination, we knew we could not return to the Sindic for our last two nights, the difference in the 4 star hotel we were at could not be compared to the Sindic! So I emailed the Sindic, stating why we could not return on our last 2 nights, with photos asking for a full refund! I received an email stating that I should have said I wasn’t happy, at the time! I fully agree with that, but due to the dirty shower I felt this unreasonable! They chose not too make a comment on the photos and said they would refund 1 night!! So they accepted there was issues but still were too tight to give us a full refund! There are so many lovely hotels in Mahon that we stayed at, I would advise you to give this one a miss!

Decidiamo all’ultimo minuto per una fuga romantica 💖 a Minorca. Che dire, scelta davvero azzeccata!!! Ambiente intimo , molto accogliente ,personale davvero disponibile e camera caratteristica. Colazione inclusa accurata e ben presentata, in stile piccolo agriturismo nostrano. Location molto comoda ai parcheggi(abbiamo sempre trovato posto gratuito nonostante fosse la settimana di Ferragosto),vicinissima all’aeroporto e nel cuore della vita notturna di Minorca(non aspettatevi Ibiza ma sono presenti diversi localini dove cenare o bersi un drink). La reception ci ha inoltre dotato subito di un ombrellone da spiaggia per goderci le giornate di sole e si è resa disponibile a custodire i nostri bagagli visto l’arrivo in primissima mattinata. Se dovessimo mai tornare a Minorca, alloggeremmo sicuramente di nuovo qui ! Mirko&Lucia

Mentre scrivo sto soggiornando presso questa struttura che già conoscevo in quanto avevo alloggiato qui alcuni anni fa e mi ero trovato decisamente bene. È situato a es castelli piccolo paesino a circa due km da Mahon, molto carino e con molti posti per mangiare, parcheggio gratuito ma purtroppo piccolino e quindi si riempie subito, ma, poco più avanti ci sono diverse possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente. Ha una bellissimo piscina con lettini e ombrelloni per gli ospiti. Colazione direi spettacolare, c’è di tutto e di ottima qualità. Camere ….noi siamo in tre e forse la nostra è un po’ piccolina per tre persone, ma comunque è molto ben tenuta soprattutto il bagno con una doccia magnifica e , soprattutto molto pulita come del resto tutto l’hotel. Personale molto molto disponibile in tutti i settori e in particolare alla reception. Um grazie particolare a Cili che si è resa molto disponibile e professionale. Per concludere consiglio vivamente questa struttura per tutto quello che vi può offrire.

Overall, a good value place to stay. As other reviews have said, the decor is a little dated, but perfectly acceptable, and the apartment was as clean as one would hope. End of June was unexpectedly quiet, but in a good way. Bus to Mahon runs hourly from the bottom of the road (5 mins walk) and is Euro 1.80 each way. Plenty of space to park if you hire a car. Some great restaurants in the town (recommend Casa Fermin) and a great beach. Only minor issue was the air-con wasn't great, but hey ... it's 32 degrees in June in the Med ... so we knew what to expect. Breeze through the apartment cooled it in the day, just a bit warm overnight. Would definitely go back.
