I have enjoyed my stay at Retaj hotel. Good hotel and good customer service.

Everything was truly perfect during my stay. The entire team was exceptional and incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. A special thank you to Sani for the fantastic food recommendations—the meals were absolutely top-notch! The breakfast offered a wonderful variety of choices and featured a unique design that showcased fresh, innovative ideas for the town. I will definitely be returning here in the future!

Ho avuto una bella vacanza, la stanza era così unica e il personale era estremamente carino e utile. Potrei davvero raccomandare questo posto a chiunque voglia avere una fantastica esperienza durante il viaggio o solo vuole andarsene un po'. Souq Al Wakra Hotel ha certamente lasciato un'impressione su di me che non dimenticherò mai presto. Suggerimento: è bello prenotare qui se è il tuo compleanno o il tuo compleanno, ti preparano una sorpresa. In conclusione, sarò certamente tornato. Grazie a tutti i dipendenti che hanno fatto il mio soggiorno speciale.

I really liked it here. I actually stayed there again during my 2 weeks trip. Anyway, the price is cheap. This was the best place if I just only slept. I slept confortable, the hot shower, there was toilet paper, and could connect Wi-fi. There was a large supermarket nearby. There were also sandwich shops that were open from morning, so I would not have any trouble finding a meal. This place was a 10-minute walk from a free bus stop that could be accessed from the metro station. This was just a review for the ”low price”.

The hotel is as you would expect at this price except the heater control did not work properly in my room and the net curtains are not in good condition. I did not get to check out the facilities because Qatar airways bumped me off my flight at under 48 hours notice so I lost 6 hour I should have had at the hotel and I could not cancel. DO NOT BOOK this hotel unless you get a cancellable bookign because Qatar have done this to me twice now, they won't refund the booking (even though they apparently own the hotel).

Very close to the airport and market The room is very big, the restaurant on the first floor is delicious, suitable for long transit There is a business of exchanging US dollars for local currency in the hotel. You can use uber directly to the airport or scenic spots. Response from Hotel:

The positives: affordable compared to many other hotels, close to a metro station, a supermarket and the airport, rooms were decently sized and okay clean (apart from some bathroom mold). Staff was overall quite friendly. The negatives: it is a very dated hotel, giving a bit of a 90s vibe, and there are quite a few signs of wear and tear. The rooms smell of smoke, not extremely so but enough to be noticeable. And you will hear yours neighbours’ wake-up alarms, strange noises from the plumbing, as well as the highway outside. But even worse than that, they have a nightclub and you will here the bass pumping in your room regardless which floor you are on. Sometimes the bed even vibrated a bit. I was offered another room in the smoking area because of this ( I declined), and the staff promised to speak to the night club and then get back to me (they didn’t) I would not quote Warwick and call this an “Upscale Hotel”, it does not even suffice if you want to get some sleep. This gets one star from a European/Nordic perspective, but as it was my first Qatari hotel I do not know how commonplace these things are there.

Fabulous apartment! Extremely spacious. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom with a california king and thw second was a twin room. 2 bathrooms, 1 of which was an en-suite. Kitchen with all amenities provided. Nice living area with sofa and tv, as well as dining space. Underground parking available. Only thing I would say is the finishing is terrible, sockets hanging loose, paint job is rough, plaster on tiles which hasn't been wiped and now dry. The extractor fan in thw kitchen hanging by a wire. All these things make a 5* a 5* . If they can rectify these small things, it would be 10/10. A steal for the price and a short stop over trip.
