Siamo stati truffati arrivati sotto la struttura ci hanno detto che erano chiusi Alle 18 eravamo lì Si sono tenuti i soldi e non ce li hanno restituiti State lontani Al proprietario che mi ha chiamato ho detto che eravamo lì ma non gli è interessato niente

Una truffa a distanza. Ho prenotato su booking una camera per tre giorni, durante la mia prenotazione ho richiesto il servizio check in extra visto il mio arrivo alle 23:00pm da quel momento ho pagato la mia camera più il servizio extra. Il proprietario ingannevole mi chiama al telefono invece di rispondere alle mie email e mi dice di non potere eseguire il servizio di check in extra nonostante la mia prenotazione fosse avvenuta 48h prima, si rifiuta e mi dice che se non fossi arrivato per le 18;00 non mi avrebbe accettato nemmeno per i giorni successivi. Allora la mia disputa inizia con booking inviando le email mostrando la carenza di professionalità e la cattiva fede del gestore. Ho perso 275€ Non ho ricevuto nessun rimborso Sono rimasto senza camera ad Aix E la strategia della telefonata è stata la vera truffa. Occhi ben aperti

A really horrible stay. My room had a very bad case of bedbugs that caused severe bites all over my body. The bugs were a daily issue throughout my stay and the bites and itching were very painful. In total I spent over €65 in a few days on multiple creams and medicines to try and soothe the painful bites and constant itching. I noticed dust on a lot of surfaces and areas so I see how the bedbugs grew because the room isn’t throughly cleaned. There were lots of dark rust coloured spots on the bedding that indicated that they had an issue with bedbugs before. It’s also taking multiple days for my €250 deposit to be returned. Over would not recommend and you will be better off checking into a traditional hotel.

This place has bedbugs. The owner, Paul knew about the problem as I read two previous reviews one week before I stayed and three months before I stayed that also complained of a terrible infestation of bedbugs. When I told him he played like he didn’t know what I was talking about and that it just couldn’t be true. When I left the hotel, he said he would reimburse me my money. He then contacted *********** and showed us as a no-show, which charged us for 15 days that we had rented his place even though we only stayed five nights, because the bedbug infestation was so awful. I initially thought it was mosquitoes And I had to go to the hospital because my body was covered in bites. He ruined our trip and he stole our money. This is not the first complaint of his dubious activities. Trip advisor be aware. Do not let other people fall victim to this person.

This property needs to come with a red alert warning!!! DO NOT BOOK!! This property is a scam! I booked this through *********** 6 months before my trip. I coordinated with the property manager on the day, and only on the day did the Property Manager Paul ask to arrange payment for a property damage deposit. I was aware of the deposit and so was prepared with my credit card. I arrived promptly and was happy to wait until the Property Manager was available. After taking me into the courtyard (which wasn't as nice as the pictures) and we chatted for a bit, he then told me that he couldn't process the damage deposit and I would need to leave and cancel my booking. I was taken aback and at first couldn't quite understand what he was saying as it seemed very unusual. He wouldn't accept any other method of payment for the deposit, said it had to be with the credit card I booked the property with. I was so shocked and was very upset. Paul didn't seem to think it was an issue and told me I needed to go and should sit at a cafe and cancel the booking. He also told me if I cancelled that he would then authorise *********** to refund what I had already paid when I booked. This was all a facade or a lie. Paul put a 'no show' on my booking. I have been liasing with *********** for over a month on trying to get a refund for this booking. I had to fork out an additional 600 euros to book two other properties to cover my stay in Aix which was also difficult as it was Rugny World Cup time. At present I have 850 euros on 4 nights accommodation which orginally was going to cost me 250 euros. I was so upset and still am, how people can take advantage of others. I was travelling alone and so this was very difficult to manage and only because of a very helpful staff member at another hotel did I manage to sort everything. Beware Beware Beware this property is a fraud.

We booked this property , to enjoy the courtyard having used *********** for years, I didn't go into into the finer details, as we haver never had any problems ie Hotel policy information, we received an email accepting our non refundable booking, with the two hour check in requirements, but it also had a late fee option 50 euros, I realised I had booked the train station furthest from Aix de Provence, I rebooked and we had 25 minutes to taxi to accommodation, 1.2 km from station, he had also offered a late suggestion which he removed which I thought was because I had changed railway stations , we were in communication. We honestly had tried to meet the strict check in guidelines , but due to circumstances out of our control, a train robbery, no taxis , we messaged to say we were walking, arrived 6:03 pm, he phoned to say we were late after we had rang the doorbell , he hung up on us and then would not take any calls , *********** said they tried to help and totally supported us but could not do anything !!!!! Aix is lovely and the people there made our stay memorable even with the hours spent at the police station. The issue is lack of honest communication, if the owner had something else on why did he not say, why doesn't the property offer a lock box facility ? The questions are endless, but my recommendation is don't stay there.

Small, clean studio with everything you could need, in a quiet back street, but within a few minutes walk from 2 markets and dozens of cafes and restaurants. I cannot believe some of the extremely negative reviews on here. Paul was always helpful , following up immediately if there was a problem. I was there for 3 weeks and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I've been traveling the whole world and never had an experience like that. We had a reservation on *********** on 15th of August for 3 nights to relax. It was a complete nightmare. We did the reservation the previous night and we were in contact with Paul (the owner?on the app chat. We informed him at least 5 hours ago that we will delay, he didn't ever text us back until the next day although we called him so many times, so we had to stay to another hotel the last minute and pay double prices. Although I told him I WAS PREGNANT he didn't seem to have an understanding he didn't suggest any solution and he didn't offer accommodation any of the 3 nights that we payed. The first day he told us that he was out of town. He refused to give us our room the second and the third day providing fake reasons and keep telling that we delayed on the check in on the first day -again I m saying we had notified him! And what is this; if someone delays in the fist day of the check in he can't have the room neither of the 3 days that we payed? It wasn't written in the terms and conditions! We DID go to the building the second day as he didn't pick up the phone yet and some guests opened us they told us that they have met with him the same day that he told us lies he was out of town. So he overbooked our room and gave it to another couple. We did go to the Office de Tourisme and they told us that he is very known scammer and he steals many tourists without giving them the room they paid or the money back. But the office cant do anything you must only file an official report to the Tribunal de Commerce. The most important is that the first night I got a mail from booking that said that we didn't show up in the accommodation so he has the right to cancel the booking and keep the money and then BOOKING DOES NOT LET YOU LEAVE REVIEW.He also owns Balloo the J appartments in Aix and Gambetta apartments in Digne,France. If you check Google maps (this the only legit place, cause booking you cant rate him because he cancels the booking) review you will see that he has deceived so many people. A disgusting being and host! Worst vacation ever.! I was lucky I did miscarriage my baby after all this awful treating,stress and stealing the money. P.S. (1)When the other guests opened us we got to the back yard and we saw it was very dirty and not luminous as it was described. Do not stay there for your own good! P.S (2) A *********** employee told me that if you contact booking and tell them that you have trouble BEFORE he says that you do NO SHOW UP then *********** is obliged to find tou another accommodation without paying extra. In my case *********** is a partner to this "legal" crime as they continue to cowork with this scammer.

I booked a twin accommodation October 2022. The reservation was confirmed and money was taken from the account, promptly. He became very aggressive as he said apartment was only for 1 person although it stated Studio twin,we told him could we pay the additional to get the twin studio. He refused saying we had to pay for another studio as well. He told us to contact *********** which we did but did not get any resolution , just told we'd receive a call back. *********** did nothing. We texted owner we were at the property at 4pm and waited but he refused to meet us and hung up on us. We spent the full day with our luggage, trying to get a resolution, and were left without accommodation. We phoned numerous accommodations and all were booked, with our phone batteries running low, at 7pm we managed to get accommodation for some of the nights and had to book another accommodation for remainder of the trip. We lost a full day of our holidays, huge stress. Paul the owners behaviour was nothing short of outrageous. *********** did nothing to help.The booking as was made it in good faith and the website was confusing stating it was a twin then saying only for 1? Made no sense. We were happy to pay for the upgrade to his other twin but the owner would not accommodate us at all. Horrendous experience.
