Hotel in zona Au Bonheur des Marques, Aix-en-Provence

Camera pulita e aggiornata con cucina piccola che ha tutto molto bel personale utile 10 min passeggiata al centro ho avuto un grande balcone (ma non c'è privacy tra l'altro balcone ) e il balcone è fuori dalla vasca che era un po 'strano .... molto tranquilla camera buona soggiorno

Comincio col dire che l’hotel è bello e in una posizione fantastica, al centro di Aix, con il parcheggio vicino e personale gentile. Pulizia ottima. Fin qui quattro stelle meritate. Ma…abbiamo riscontrato dei problemi che andrebbero risolti. Il segnale Wi-Fi è debolissimo, in camera praticamente inutilizzabile, inutili le promesse che avrebbero “sistemato” il problema. L’aria condizionata non era regolabile, si poteva solo accendere o spegnere; siccome non tutti abbiamo la stessa percezione della temperatura, è stato un grosso problema, anche perché durante il nostro soggiorno la temperatura esterna ha raggiunto picchi molto alti. La piscina: bella, grande, ma insufficiente, soprattutto perché molte persone, diciamo poco educate, avevano la brutta abitudine di distribuire salviette su diversi lettini per “occuparli” la mattina appena possibile, senza che poi si vedesse nessuno per ore e ore, non permettendo agli altri ospiti di approfittare della possibilità di rinfrescarsi. Ci è stato detto, ed é scritto chiaro nel regolamento in camera, che dopo mezz’ora di inutilizzo delle sdraio occupate, le salviette sarebbero state rimosse; ma ovviamente non accadeva, anche perché dato il numero dei lettini era praticamente impossibile tenere il conto di chi li occupava e dopo quanto. Purtroppo la maleducazione degli ospiti ha impedito a molti di fare un tuffo in piscina, ma vista la puntigliosità del personale in altri ambiti, direi che il problema si potrebbe risolvere. Delusi anche dal ristorante interno, di cui abbiamo usufruito una sola volta: tempi molto lunghi nonostante i clienti non fossero tanti, costo non proporzionato alla qualità del cibo e personale non troppo competente. Ottima invece la colazione. Impossibile anche l’uso della piscina della spa, in quanto adibita ad altre attività, pare, ma vuota quando abbiamo chiesto di poter usare almeno quella. In conclusione, per essere un hotel 4 stelle, necessita sicuramente di miglioramenti.

4-night stay Upside: (1) Space - limited-service apartment concept. Separate bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchenette, living room & balcony (within dining table) (2) Location - nearby supermarket & gym (not affiliated with Adagio); walking distance to the old town (3) Laundry room - located near reception; takes credit card payments; but there's only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so plan ahead (4) Quiet - inward facing apartments don't get street noise and face a pleasant internal courtyard Downside: (1) Air-conditioning issue - apparently, there was an ongoing air-conditioning fault affecting some apartments, including the first apartment we were assigned at check-in. Also, apparently, guests were supposed to have been informed about this, but we weren't. None of the correspondence we received prior to check-in mentioned it, neither did anyone mention it at check-in. Initial response when we queried why the apartment wasn't getting cool was the offer of a standing fan. This was completely unacceptable given the high summer temperatures (＞30C) in a west-facing (afternoon sun) apartment. It would have been too uncomfortable to sleep, even with a standing fan. Not to mention the lack of transparency. After further enquiries, including regarding repair timing (several days!), suddenly another apartment, with functioning air-conditioning, became available. As Adagio is part of a major international hotel brand, issue could've been better handled by offering affected guests, whether in advance or at check-in, the option of (a) transfer to a similar-class property (in-network or otherwise) at no cost; (b) full refund; or (c) fully-transparent ”informed” acceptance of apartment with faulty air-conditioning.

This business needs a huge overhaul. It is unacceptable to rob guests with such terrible accommodation. I had booked 10 days in this place. Upon my arrival after a long trip with my heavy backpack, the receptionist ignored me as I waited for her to greet me. What a greeting! 'You will need to bring your rubbish in the bin before you leave; you will be given fresh linen in four days; you need to sign in to the internet every time you use it; you will need to do the dishes before you leave' etc...No welcome words, only orders. I felt I was signing in to jail! I have been in hostels in the past, am well travelled and I manage my expectations, but this was far worse than any hostel, airbnb, hotel, or residence I have ever been to. Upon entering my studio - I would not call it an apartment, I found the shower head dirty, the wastebasket dirty, the walls bare of any decor except for a cheap frame. There was only ONE plastic hanger in the closet, with all the others broken. In the kitchen, there was a 2oz bottle of washing detergent and not much at all, not even a coffee maker, just a kettle. There was only one roll of toilet paper for my 10 day stay. No one was ever at the reception except early in the mornings. You could not reach anyone in the afternoon or evening. When I ran out of toilet paper, I asked on my way out to have a few rolls dropped in my room. Upon my return that night, nothing. Luckily I met some guests who were sitting outside (equally unhappy with the residence), who saved me and were most kind, bringing me a roll. When the next morning I asked for toilet paper again, after having left a note at the unstaffed reception desk, I was finally given some. But fresh towels after 4 days? The response was ”well, I don't know, I have to ask my colleague...” I could not believe the staff's attitude. I was happily able to find a place 8 days later and could not leave soon enough. (Unfortunately, in high season and at the last minute, accommodations are nearly impossible to find in Aix.)

Poco attenti nella pulizia ottimo per la posizione ma il resto lascia molto a desiderare. Set accoglienza non presente bollitore the caffè solubile… Se alla fine del soggiorno devo anche aprire le finestre e portare giù la spazzatura quanto meno sarebbe d’obbligo almeno trovarli

Molto bene, molto bene, molto bene atteggiamento

Prima hotel. Nette kamers, wat kleine puntjes die wat onderhoud nodig hebben maar dit stoort niet. Vriendelijk personeel dat Engels spreekt. Terrein is afgesloten dus de auto staat ook veilig. De hond was ook welkom, kost wel 8 euro per dag extra. Ook airconditioning aanwezig.

Hotel molto buono e a pochi km dall’aeroporto, ha un servizio shuttle di cui non abbiamo usufruito. La stanza tutto in regola. Molto molto buona la colazione con dei piccoli muffin con cuore ripieno di cioccolato. L’unico difetto è la colazione all’aperto che da verso un capannone industriale molto rumoroso, ma è un dettaglio
