Stables Inn, Aintree

Good location

I've stayed here a few times recently. Ideal location near the workplace. The rooms I've stayed in have all been fine. A couple, a little rough around the edges, but the last room I stayed in was fully renovated and great quality. I have a feeling that at this moment a lot of rooms have been fixed up, or are being done right now. I've never had a bad night's sleep here, beds are perfectly comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's clear that the staff here take a lot of care in what they do. Not only are they friendly on arrival or during your stay, but the housekeeping and customer service standards are high. This is a better hotel than the reviews suggest and the price for the hotel for a night is fair. Solid internet speeds, fast food or Toby Inn next door. No complaints and I'll be going back. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Luckily we took our own pillows. The bathroom was very dates, although the pressure of the shower was ok. the TV was very small for the size of room. The room was also quite warm It was handy to be onsite as my daughter was competing at the equestrian centre but we would have been grateful for a bit more comfort after a long day.

Nothing wrong with the stay, just the hotel was old and dated and you need to call staff if you need help otherwise no one was at the reception. Good size room, but a bit stuffy, small TV but strong wifi and free parking. Right next to Aintree racecourse with shops and restaurants nearby.

Great location for our stay for competing at the great Aintree Equestrian Centre. The staff at the Stable Inn were so friendly and very helpful booking taxis into Liverpool city centre and organising a quiet room for our stay Clean, tidy and efficient. Thank you for a great couple of nights sleep in comfort

Good location and comfy bed, but the hotel is run down. Seems it was a former premier inn and whoever now owns it doesn’t seem to have spent any money on it. Bathroom was poor and the TV was state of the art… about 25 years ago. Location great if you’re at the equestrian centre or race course. There’s a Toby Carvey onsite and a shopping park only about a 5-10 min walk down the road with plenty of food options.
