We had a beautiful, peaceful, and fantastic stay at Kahanda Kanda. The villa was serene and stylish, surrounded by lush nature. The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. Every detail felt thoughtful.
Kahanda Kanda is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience of peace, beauty, and luxury. Highly recommend it!

The location of the hotel is away from the city which is very relaxing for honeymooners . The staff are very kind and helpful. I even got sick and they called a Doctor and brought to our room.
Ushadi and Chanaka have a very good welcoming and respectful.
The Rooms are always clean and tidy, we even tried their Landry service: it was Class A.
Highly recommended!

We had an amazing holiday experience at Kahanda Kanda, The staff members were very kind & treated us like we were their family members, A very special thank you to staff members Aruna and Chanaka who made our stay pleasurable. The owner Mr Cooper was kind enough to personally visit us to check if we were doing fine, The Mutton curry is a must try at Kahanda Kanda it was packed with flavour, overall everything we tried was of very high standard, The rooms were nice n cozy our room had a lovely plunge pool , The staff had even covered my vehicle to protect it from blazing sunshine which was really a kind gesture. We will definitely return

We spent 6 nights here and what an absolutely stunning place. The location, the rooms , the staff. Everything is perfect, we stayed in habiscus villa with a private pool and can honestly say we just didn’t want to do anything all day but sit by the pool watching the stunning bird life and relaxing. The staff are superb . Amith makes the best espresso martinis and the young waiter Rashen is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Would love to come back one day. Thank you to everyone

It was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a hotel in Sri Lanka , the room we’ve stayed Kadju was amazing the room was so well designed and bathroom was as large as the room it self , the plunge pool had an amazing view of the lush tea plantation , the staff was amazing specially the manager Mr Rohan who was very kind and so helpful and gave us a personal tour of the hotel premises , the breakfast was amazing with milk rice , hoppers coconut roti , for the Sri Lankan option and any type of egg ham and bacon or continental options, The staff was very attentive to our needs and little things like leaving yummy cookies near the bed side making the bed , leaving thoughtful notes on the bed was very much appreciated. Overall it was one best of the best experiences we’ve ever had !

This was my third time back to Kahanda Kanda and it just keeps getting better and better. George Cooper and his staff do a wonderful job of making sure their guests are happy and their attention to detail is incredible. The villas are beautiful and comfortable, the food is delicious and it is all set on a tea planation with gorgeous views.Their sister hotel on the beach near Galle is a bonus as well as guests at the hotel on the tea plantation can take a short tuk tuk ride and spend the day at the beach if they wish. I love this place and it is the ultimate in relaxation and comfort. I can’t wait to go back.

My Wife and I spent the last 3 nights in this heavenly luxurious boutique resort in the middle of a luscious green tea plantation with all kinds of birds, peacocks, monkeys , squirrels and a huge spread of beautiful flowers. The resort upgraded us on arrival to the best villa with a pool and dream view. The food is fresh, organic and amazing. The massage therapies and swimming pool are also amazing. The staff and service is world class. Special thanks to Ushadi, Chanaka, Nadun, Sumudu, Ajith, Rashen, Sumudu (Tuk Tuk) , Rohan and each and every one of the remaining staff, you have made our stay so special and we will definitely, God willing, return to this peace of heaven.

We just viated this property on 22nd July 20225 for 3 nights as a family of 5. We stayed in the garden and tea room. Rooms were comfy, quiet and in good order. Eye property was very quiet when we visited and generally felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were so attentive and nothing was an issue or trouble. We have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels worldwide and their breakfast was one of the best we have had. From the fresh banana bread to the egg hoopers everything was delicious and fresh. We are in the restaurant then3 nights and the food again was deliciously good and nothing was any trouble with the chief from making off menu items or tweaking existing items. The cocktails were great too and were made with expertise. Definitely if you want a tea plantation stay put this place on your list. Another review mentioned about loud music - there was none while we were there. We would defo go back and that’s just for the Sri Lankan breakfast. 5 stars all round

The resort was beautiful, the breakfast was exceptional the rooms were beautiful the sheets and towels were crisp and white. The staff were very friendly and hospitable Until the last night we all decided to retire at 10.30pm when we got to our rooms the noise of loud music like a nice club went on and on at 12 mid night they turned it up we rang reception said nothing they could do, rang again at 1.30 no one in reception answered so let’s just say no sleep was add by any of us when checking on the internet SL loud music should finish by 10pm Mon to Thurs Fri to Sun 1pm It was Thursday so when checking out we raised the subject to the staff, they said sorry but it’s a risk you take ….. not for these prices no discounts offered we were disgusted as we are back to SL in Dec But definitely not there please be aware when booking this hotel
