The stay was great! It felt like a home away from home. Place was clean and they even guided us about the places to visit. Very happy with the stay!

The ambiance was welcoming and relaxing, making our stay truly enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the host was friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived to our leaving~ Overall, an outstanding stay. We stayed here as a group of 5 for one night whilst visiting Agra for the Taj Mahal. The hotel is in an excellent location very close to the Taj Mahal. We had great communication in advance of our stay and the family who run the hotel were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is basic but clean and good value for money.

The most wonderful homestay with Vikrant and his family. Clean, spacious rooms, great bathroom facilities- great hot water shower. Delicious food cooked here by the family. Looking after us and helping us when my partner was feeling unwell and advising us where to get the appropriate medication from. Wonderful stay thank you so much for your hospitality.

The hotel was so lovely, very welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. Very convenient location for the Taj Mahal and other local attractions. Vic helped book our onward tours which was invaluable. We ate breakfast and evening meals here which we can highly recommend. A lovely family run hotel.

Vikrant is by far the best host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting whilst travelling. He effortlessly organised us vehicle transfers for very good prices in and out of Agra, helped us book tickets for the Taj Mahal, and recommended great food and clothing shopping options based on our specific criteria. He truly cares for this guests, and he will go out of his way time and time again to ensure you have the smoothest and most enjoyable stay possible. Amazing staff aside, the room was also very good, it was large, clean, with a comfortable bed, additional lounge and small dining table area and a nice view out of window. Oh and the hotel is a short walk from the Taj Mahal, so location is an A+. I wouldn’t even think twice to stay here again if I ever return to Agra, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We loved the kindness and warmth of the host, who treated us like his children, and helped us travel around Agra (Fatehpur Sikri and Gwalior Fort). We felt very safe, considering we were two women traveling alone. The homemade food was delicious and fresh and the location is very good, close to the Taj Mahal.

Our stay at the Orchid Retreat was very nice. Located 10 minute walk from Taj Mahal entrance, we enjoyed the accommodations of the family run business. The food was yummy and the rooms were comfy. The owner provided us with a driver throughout Rajasthan as well. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed,

Orchid Retreat is a family owned homestay located very close to the Taj Mahal. Vikrant seemed to have genuine care for our stay and did not try to upsell us on things we didn’t need (like ***y hotels do). The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lots of charging outlets. The room service was very good too. I would definitely recommend staying here!
