It is located in an old building. The elevator is old (it looks even older than the Soviet elevators). Video attached. The internal corridors in the hotel create the feeling that you are in some regional hospital. The food is absolutely tasteless. The canteen has an unpleasant smell of greasy and stale sauces and it was even nauseating to be there, literally. We had to order pizza and go out to neighboring restaurants and eat there. On the tables where there is food and fruit, what has already been taken away is not replenished and the tables with food were empty. Instead of tasty and good fish, we received some tasteless fish dust in an untidy form in the canteen. And so every day. To get to the beach you need to walk 200 meters (after crossing the road) through a narrow and dirty path with garbage, where they do not clean up. You have to pay for beach loungers, because this hotel does not even have its own beach area and hotel visitors are forced to lie on loungers of other hotels and pay for it. In the hotel room you dont feel like you are in a 4-star hotel, but in a rented shack in a bad part of the city. Dead flies have been lying in the lampshade for a long time and create a unique impression. Even the shower gel, which is also a shampoo, is screwed to the wall as if someone needs it to steal. The service is rude. The staff is very rude. There is no service. Being in another city on an excursion, I asked the reception to send someone to my relative's room to deliver a parcel (food). They rudely refused to do it. This is very indicative. This hotel is not only not 4 stars, it definitely won’t even be 2 stars.

State tranquilli, buon cibo molte attività ma non perfetto per le luna di miele

Situated right across the beach of Ammoudara, Enorme Teatro Beach has a bar and offers rooms and suites with a Nespresso coffee machine and facilities for making coffee and tea. Guests benefit from free sun beds on the beach and at the pool. Enorme Teatro Beach are bright and spacious with a private balcony and air conditioning. They are equipped with a 42'' satellite LED TV and some of them feature a sofa. Only 4 km from Heraklion, Enorme Teatro Beach guests enjoy easy access to restaurants, bars, night clubs and shops. The Palace of Knossos, the largest Bronze Age archaeological site on Crete, is 12 km away and the archaeological Museum of Crete is at 8 km. Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport is 12 km away from Pelagos. The picturesque fishing village of Agia Pelagia is within a 10-minute drive. Private parking is provided on site free of charge.

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at the Galaxy hotel. Everything about the hotel is faultless: the location, the size and quality of the room, hygiene, food and drink and, above all, the impeccable staff. There really can’t be anywhere better to stay in Heraklion! Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our visit so memorable.

Io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato per una settimana in questo stupendo resort nella Island Villa con piscina privata. Piscina grandissima con lettini comodi e divanetto dove poter pure pranzare all’ombra. Privacy assoluta anche da parte di tutto lo staff che torna più volte per rifare la camera o aggiungere le bevande nel frigo bar o le cialde del caffè se vedono il don’t disturbe acceso. Per la pulizia della piscina ci hanno avvisato il giorno prima e viene fatta la mattina presto. Abbiamo scelto tariffa all inclusive assolutamente consigliata. Il resort ci ha ricordato molto le Maldive. Si trovava sempre un lettino libero nonostante l’hotel fosse al completo. Abbiamo usufruito del transfert gratuito all’andata e data la tarda ora ci hanno fatto trovare del cibo in camera. Abbiamo effettuato il check in tramite app e prenotato subito ristoranti e palestra. Anche al buffet si mangia molto bene. Cocktail e lunch di livello. Tutto lo staff estremamente gentile e ti coccolano come meglio possono. Avevamo chiesto un numero di camera in particolare ( la 14) e ci hanno accontentati. Ci hanno permesso di fare il late check out fino alle ore 16 nonostante il resort pienissimo e abbiamo potuto usufruire di tutti i servizi fino a quando siamo andati via ( alle 22) . Hanno un’ottima capacità organizzativa. Alla reception c’è chi parla pure in italiano. Servizio in camera al costo di soli 7 euro. Spettacoli serali piacevoli. Settimana meravigliosa, ci ritorneremo.

Il nuovo hotel intelligente, ben gestito nel cuore di Heraklion! Un gruppo di dodici famiglie si è fermato qui mentre viaggiava a Creta, Paros e Atene e questo è stato un preferito. Ci siamo fermati solo una notte, ma amava la nostra visita. L'hotel è moderno e classico con bellissime finiture di marmo. Quando il nostro gruppo è arrivato, ci siamo salutati alla reception per iscriverci agli iPad. Poi molti di noi sono stati aggiornati gratuitamente per le camere di lusso. Eravamo in Heraklion a più di cento gradi, quindi siamo andati fino alla piscina e al bar che avevano una vista sul mare lontano. Era un modo perfetto per scalare l’onda di calore. L’AC era meraviglioso, il letto era incredibilemente comodo con lenzuola pulita. La doccia era enorme come il doppio ingoio di vanità, c’erano vestiti, scarpe, caffè e tè, cassaforte e ferro, e anche un piccolo balcone privato per mettere le nostre vesti da bagno bagnate a secco. Si trova a pochi passi dalla sorgente del leone con molti ristoranti e negozi vicini. Si consiglia molto questo hotel. E speriamo di tornare.

Le strutture dell'hotel sono moderne e le camere sono pulite. L'accesso alle principali attrazioni turistiche della città è stato conveniente. Il menu del colazione era diverso, quindi potresti scegliere secondo il tuo gusto.

El Greco è un mio punto di riferimento a Heraklion ed è migliorato negli anni anche se conserva lo stile anni '80. Però è pulito, ha tv, wi-fi, AC, minifridge, tende semioscuranti e infissi insonorizzanti. Il bagno è piccolo ma nuovo e funzionale. Ha il deposito bagagli. Ed è in pieno centro!

Grande hotel, le camere erano senza spazi, il personale di pulizia era attento e amichevole, il personale del front desk era felice e estremamente utile quando mi servivano qualche medico il domenica, cercavano una farmacia aperta e poi chiamavano a fare attenzione. Grande posto.E il colazione è molto completo!

We stayed at the hotel for five nights in July 2022. There were eight of us in total so two families. The location is absolutely perfect as it is right in the middle of Heraklion, opposite the bustling square with its wonderful with its Artisan stalls which are worth visiting and only a short walk to the shops and wonderful selection of restaurants. Heraklion is a truly bustling and Cosmopolitan city. The Hotel is very close to Heraklion Archaeological Museum and a bus or taxi ride to the beach. It is also not too far from the port you can walk there but we took a very quick taxi due to the heat. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome and our baggage was taken to our room for us. The reception area is refreshing to walk into from the heat outside and the decor is lovely and very modern with a comfortable seating area. There is a downstairs bar which is very chic with beautiful artwork where you can eat and you can just walk through to the shops outside to have a mooch with is perfect. Our check in process was very smooth and efficient. Check out is at 12 and check in is at 2. We had travelled from Chania by taxi. and were a little early. The gentleman on reception was able to find our group a room to check into while they got our other rooms ready which was very helpful and we did not have to wait too long. We had the economy rooms two different types between us. The ones which have balconies and the ones which are inside but don't have a balcony. The latter were a bit bigger than the ones with the balcony and the children's bed has its own little area which we really liked. The bathroom and room were very clean and the cleaners were very helpful and polite. We had a small fridge all the usual amenities you would expect and the air conditioning always worked well. I really feel (being from the UK) that the hotel represents very good value for the price we paid - if we were to pay a similar price in England we would not be staying in nearly such a nice hotel that's for sure. Certainly not one with a pool on the roof! We absolutely loved the roof area. The pool is quite small (but still big enough to have a lovely, cool swim). The pool area is clean and there are sunbeds and chairs you can sit on around the pool and plenty of place to sunbathe. It is absolutely lovely the perfect place to relax and take in the view. They also have a lifeguard up there at all times which we were not expecting. The pool is open until 8 at night but you can still go up to the roof for drinks and to eat your dinner after this time. They also provide towels for you which is great. The bar on the roof is absolutely excellent and the service is impeccable. The bar staff and waiters and waitresses work so hard and are so friendly (whilst also remaining professional). The bar food is great especially the mini burgers and the club sandwiches are to die for. You can also have dinner up on the roof and there are lots of lovely tables and chairs to chose fro
