Outstanding hospitality and a lot's to explore in Addu City plus neighbouring islands. Sharaf and his team support on all arrangements like booking flights, arranging spectacular diving tours all with local independent business which I was more than happy to support while learning about local life and nature. Left Addu with super nice memories and after perfect rejuvenated rest. Ohh and culinary was just perfect…. fresh entire Tune, seafood and local menus versatile, delicious and local pricings. Entire package highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Maledives exploring…..

Stayed here for 1 night on the way through. On the positive the room was a decent size, it was quiet, and the bed was comfortable (I'd say a medium hardness of mattress). However, the decor was tatty. The sheets were ripped. The towels were heavily stained. It just felt a bit grubby. Also there was no view from the hotel. There was a saltwater stream that ran past the building and a large patch of desert at the front. Not very pretty.

Wave Sound by 3S is a wonderful guest house and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The entire staff team is excellent, led by Manager Athif who was extremely helpful arranging things for us, then the restaurant team were all lovely and the gardening and housekeeping teams were equally friendly. The rooms are great, spacious, spotlessly clean and with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The setting? Well, waking up to the sunrise over the Indian Ocean right outside your door is one of the more satisfying ways I've ever woken up on my travels. The sunsets were equally epic. Having your first coffee of the day watching the Ghost crabs digging their little tunnels on the beach, White terns and Fruit bats flying overhead, Herons standing like statues fishing for their breakfast and, on one occasion, a Hawksbill turtle swimming right by us in front of the restaurant in shallow water....incredible. The food is outstanding too, from filling fare like spaghetti bolognese, perfect after a couple of SCUBA dives, to the Korean Burger (amazing!) and the fresh passion fruit and orange juice combo'. Suffice to say, though we ate out a couple of times to try other restaurants, the three of us were perfectly happy to stay in the Guest House to eat. I am DEFINITELY coming back to Wave Sound 3S and next time I'll bring my family with me. This visit was to do some research for a new community-based marine conservation project. If I were to sum up my five day visit in one word? Superb.

I stayed at Wavesound for 5 weeks whilst working in Addu City. Arti the Manager and all his staff made me feel so welcome. Arti met me at the airport on day 1 and dropped me back on the final day. He was helpful throughout my stay with travel around the island, resources for my training workshops and IT issues with my laptop. The room was kept clean and tidy by Pintu. The food at Wavesound was excellent and the waiting staff, Richard, Maria, Catherine and Alamin made my stay a home-from-home. I had my birthday whilst at the hotel and theywent above and beyond to make my evening really special. Many thanks to all the team at Wavesound for making my stay so pleasant.

This hotel is amazing. It's right on the beach. wonderful view, you feel like you are in paradise. It is a small hotel, one has privacy. The staff is incredibly helpful, they can arrange everything and they are very pleasant. Absolutely perfect hotel. I was here with a man in a wheelchair and it was no problem to place two ramps in front of room and garden, so that he could move around the hotel and the stuff helped him all the time.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It was safe, peaceful and a fabulous place to visit with little children. Staff were very polite, caring and friendly. It’s the ideal place for a family getaway!
