Il residence e' nel paese di Addo ( la Main entrance dell'Addo Nat Park e' a 12 km ) . E composto dall'unità che comprende la reception e la sala dove si fa colazione e da una parte dove sono situati i Bungalow . La metratura di queste unità abitative sono incredibili e iniziano offrendo una veranda coperta attrezzata con cucina dove preparare i propri pasti ( se uno vuole ) completa di griglia per BBQ già fornita di legna tagliata per accendere il fuoco . All'interno una vastissima camera da letto con scrivania , angolo conforto ( bollitore, the, caffè) e un bagno enorme. Tutte le unità hanno sul retro un posto auto gratuito .Tutta la struttura e' immersa in parco con piscina completamente recintato. Agli ospiti viene fornito il telecomando per aprire il cancello ( non essendoci servizio ristorante alla sera bisogna uscire ). Copertura wifi gratis non eccelsa. Colazione buona, da ordinare alla carta, che viene preparata al momento. Gentilissimi i gestori.

Splendida struttura a pochi Km. dal Addo National Park. La nostra camera enorme e dotata addirittura di un patio privato con doccia esterna. 2 piscine e parco per rilassarsi dopo un safari ( che peraltro puoi prenotare direttamente in loco ) Un ringraziamento particolare al personale che si è subito dato da fare quanto abbiamo fatto presente che in bagno ci mancava l'acqua calda risolvendo in poco tempo il problema.

One of my favorites places in SA ! We were given one of the family cottages, although there was just 2 of us. I was hungry on arrival and they made a sandwich for me although it was after lunch. They have 3 pools ( small but cute ) The beds are the comfiest, fluffy pillows ! Everyone is very warm and chatty. The only thing I would improve on is the fact that they don't top up your coffee/biscuits etc in the room

The Elephant House setting is beautiful with luscious plants and flowers, a tranquil pool and open air verandas and seating areas. Our upstairs room overlooked a lovely green field and had a trellis of gorgeous flowers to greet us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed with a nice big shower. The staff was very courteous, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and dinner arranged by the staff at Molo Lolo just down the road was outstanding (we went twice!). Highly recommend elephant house and hope to return!!

Great to back at the Elephant House. Still as good as ever. Great rooms, comfortable beds, traditional South Africa at its best. Great service. A short drive to the main entrance to the Addo Elephant Park and also a variety of good restaurants.

Clive, Ann and the staff could not be more helpful. From the booking process through to the goodbyes - they’re faultless. Whilst the place has been operational for many years it’s immaculately maintained and has a timeless quality that really appeals to discerning clients that don’t need anthracite grey at every turn. We chose to stay here rather than be based in an on park tented lodge. The plan worked we visited three reserves who all have very different offerings. Be sure to ask Clive or Ann to book you onto the Addo Elephant park and the must see Schotia Reserve well in advance to be sure of your place. Enjoy!

A place not be missed! Beautiful architecture, large bedrooms, a lot of open living rooms, 2 swimming pools,… The place exudes luxury and calm while managing to feel very homy, also thanks to the lovely owner and staff. Clive made sure we had the most wonderful stay and went the extra mile to accommodate us (booking restaurants and safaris). The location is great to go to Addo Elephant Park for a self-drive tour. We also booked the tour organized by Elephant House and had a great time. We will recommend this place to all our friends going to South Africa.

Staying here is a treat and the entire place is excellent in every way. Rooms are large and the location is ideal for Addo. The cottages are also great and the staff could not do enough for one during our stay. I could not rate this place high enough

Just returned from our latest & umpteenth visit to stay with Clive and his ‘family’. As always the welcome was with big smiles and huge hugs from everyone. There is absolutely nothing I can fault about the Elephant House because it is just ‘home from home’ and there’s nothing better when you are staying anywhere. My husband is now unfortunately not so mobile but that never presented a problem - there was a helping hand everywhere. Can 100% recommend for comfortable accommodation and welcoming, friendly, helpful proprietor & staff.
