Too overpriced!! No Wi-Fi as in all Sama hotels. No mentioned pool. Breakfast was so poor A standard room gave me the sense of hostel but not a comfort

Camere belle, bel resort, bellissima la posizione. In inverno si gela, la stufetta che danno non basta a riscaldare la stanza. Anche la sala ristorante è gelida, non si riesce a mangiare bene perché fa troppo freddo. Qualità del cibo nella media, niente di eccezionale

E' una buona opzione anche se costosa , dal momento che non ci sono molte altre strutture. E' composto da casette in pietra e tende e si mangia a buffet , non di grande qualità. Sono molto gentili e a gennaio fa abbastanza freddo , siamo a 2000 metri di quota. le camere sono ampie e i letti buoni , come al solito nel bagno mancano le prese e ci sono pochi posti dove appoggiare le cose. E' forse il posto migliore per il balcony walk. Vivamente consigliato il 4x4 per arrivarci.

Una delle poche sistemazioni praticamente sul bordo del Wadi Ghul Canyon (detto anche Grand Canyon d'Arabia) ai piedi della montagna più alta dell'Oman. Spaziose e confortevoli casette in muratura e tende ospitano i turisti; colazione e cena (entrambe a buffet e più che soddisfacenti come qualità e quantità) vengono servite in una grande sala dalla caratteristica atmosfera di montagna. Esperienza più che positiva.

La cosa più bella dell’hotel è stata la vista che offre, soprattutto il mattino all’alba ed il pomeriggio al tramonto. Le camere mountain view dispongono anche di un terrazzino godibilissimo dove gustare un caffè in attesa del sorgere del sole. Buoni i servizi, camere ampie e pulite. L’hotel ha anche un’ubicazione ottima in vista di ogni genere di escursione si vogliano fare, tra le tante offerte in questa splendida area Montana dell’Oman. Io consiglio vivamente il trekking all’interno del grande canyon, assai suggestivo.

Il complesso, con diverse tipologie di alloggi, è situato in una splendida posizione, non lontano dal Balcony Walk a Jabal Shams. Avevamo una casa in pietra con una piccola terrazza davanti. tutto sommato ok, pulito. Tuttavia, mancavano alcune cose (asciugamani, bagnoschiuma, asciugacapelli...), che sono state portate abbastanza rapidamente su richiesta. Naturalmente il piccolo termoventilatore non è riuscito a riscaldare la stanza e il bagno. Purtroppo il ristorante assomiglia a una mensa. colazione/cena (self-service) ok. niente wifi!

We would spend one night here on a Jebel Sams tour stop over and found the accommodations comfortable, and adequately suitable for a short stay! After checking out the basic level rooms on line we would ask our tour operator to upgrade us to a mountain view room. Mountain view rooms are larger and have a nice balcony with a view of the resort and mountains. Our room came with a small fridge and an electric heater which we appreciated for the cold March night we would experience. Meals are buffet – Dinner consisted of average fare and included beef, butter chicken and Camel Skewers Breakfast was a simple selection of cold and hot dishes and an egg station. We found the restaurant staffs helpful and cheery for both dinner and breakfast. Considering this is a high turn over tour group catering resort, our stay was as expected and we highly recommend upgrading one’s room for added comfort!

Beautiful stone rooms. No problem driving up here with our 1600cc automatic sedan car ( including the 10km dirt road drive to reach the hotel ) We stayed 2 nights with half board. The location of this hotel is great for those opting for W4 - Summit hike cause the starting point it’s just a stone’s throw away whereas the W6 balcony windows hike is 6km away. The room is clean and they provide a small heater in the room, which is great as the room gets cold in the early morning. We also like the food during dinner. The staffs are also friendly and helpful.

Quite a drive on a rocky road to get there but what an amazing place! The spatial design integrates perfectly with the surrounding mountain area and natural materials were used for many of the cottages and main building. Spacious rooms with breathtaking view over Jebel Shams. At night, enjoy a total silence. We ate at the terrace but the heaters made sure we stayed warm.
