Second stay at Park Lodge, stayed 3 years ago and am pleased to see the standard remains high. Staff all pleasant and professional. The room was clean and comfortable with smart tv so could still continue bingeing our box sets. The shower was amazing! The only criticism is the service in the restaurant was a little slow, but all in all we had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Aberystwyth. I especially want to thank the cleaning staff as they refreshed and restocked our room every day and were always polite and friendly.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay due to a family funeral. The hotel and its staff were absolutely amazing. The cleanliness and service was up there with one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Ellie and Kate from the breakfast room were really polite and it was service with a smile . The rooms are every thing you need , comfortable bed and pillows and a fantastic shower plus tea and coffee. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was extremely nice. Each and every member of staff are a credit to this establishment. Thank you for making what was a difficult time a lot easier for all of the family.

Very clean, high end hotel was my first impression. I fancied something one up from a Travelodge or premier inn. Clean room, nice bathroom, lovely hot shower, 1 mile into Aberystwyth.... But room way too hot to be comfortable (even with the windows open), had to use a towel to block the light coming in under the door at night. Stayed for 2 nights, both nights lost hours of sleep listening to the fridge motors outside of the window, and next morning informed reception accordingly. To add to the sleep loss someone felt the need to drag furniture downstairs in the middle of the night. Reported the sleep loss to *******, who have tried to help but the management of the hotel are not engaging. So, to roundup Aberystwyth great place to visit, but maybe not stay here if you like sleep. PS reception staff are very understanding.

I’ve stayed at Park Lodge Hotel twice now, and it’s a great choice for a quick break in the area. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. While everything was generally clean, I did notice some small details in the bathroom, like a few hairs that were missed. Other than that, my experience was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient, relaxing stay!

Lovely hotel, friendly & helpful staff, fantastic breakfast - compliments to the chef and the Team. Good location about 20 mins walk to the sea front. Taxis readily available for those who don't want to walk in/out of town. Not stayed here before but we will be back.

Just returned from a two night stay, after reading the reviews we had some concerns from a couple of reviews however needn’t have! The hotel is situated ideally for Aberystwyth about a 20 minute walk, direct route. We were pleased with all features; the hotel has been recently refurbished, comfy and spacious, very clean, staff friendly and helpful, food excellent, we didn’t wait long after ordering and plates hot too! When we visit family again we will be staying here again, we parked the car which didn’t move till we went home.

We stayed at The Park Lodge in September. The rooms were exceptionally clean and modern. The restaurant was good value for money and had a wide choice of food. This is by far the best accommodation in Aberystwyth More disabled parking spaces would be beneficial, as they were limited to two spaces

The hotel is clean, smart and modern. The staff are friendly and efficient. the rooms are spacious, the beds clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. The hotel was quiet during the night. The prices are fair and reasonable. It's a bit over a mile out of Aberystwyth but there are plenty of taxis, a bus service and it's not difficult to walk. Highly recommended.

We stay in the Park Lodge, Aberystwyth, several times a year. We cannot fault the accommodation or the restaurant and have felt that the hotel deserves a 5* rating on every visit. Last week the outstanding service extended beyond us leaving the hotel. My husband had left an item in the room. When I contacted reception, the item was retrieved. As my phone signal was poor during the call, I was unsure about the return of the item. Today I collected a package from the Post Office - the item was carefully wrapped and arrived intact, no mirror broken. Thank you once again to the person responsible for this kind act. Also a big thank you to ALL the staff at Park Lodge who always make our stay most enjoyable and relaxing. Over the years we have stayed with many multi-national hotel groups, but Park Lodge is a family-run hotel which could teach many others lessons in good service. We will return soon. Only wish I could give more than 5* !!
