We had a lovely stay in the Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth. The hotel is nestled among the rolling green hills of the Welsh countryside. It’s a grand country house with impressive modern rooms and traditional interior. One of the main rooms in the house has a big fireplace with a gramophone and historic globe, we were well impressed with the charming vintage antiques. The breakfast was excellent as were all the meals we had there, it was really good food. There is also a traditional bar with good beers and ales and the rugby was shown on the screen. The Manager and the Chef looked after is so well and made our stay most memorable. Itf s a short walk to the beach at Aberporth and just walking in the grounds around the house was lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended.

This hotel and grounds are immaculate with beautiful sea views. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they excel in making your stay special. The food is delicious, and freshly cooked to your liking. Breakfasts are amazing. Best place weve stayed

Stayed with work for 3 nights at the hotel , the manager and chef couldn’t do enough for the group of us , the food was fantastic every night and freshly cooked , really made all of us feel welcome , would definitely stay again when working in the area.

Stayed here for work with a group of colleagues. The hotel is lovely and the manager and chief were amazing they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. We were in the area the following week and changed our hotels to stay here again due to the service we received at this hotel nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay like home from home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area. The rooms are lovely and the food was really nice.

I have recently started travelling for work again after being diagnosed with a life long health condition which can make staying away from home quite stressful however, I contacted Angela ahead of arrival and she literally could not have been more helpful and provided everything I needed. I stayed in one of the cottages which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and the bed was perfect. The views were absolutely stunning across the bay. I will definitely be choosing the Penrallt again if I am up that way. Highly recommended. I really cannot thank Angela and the team enough for making me so welcome and looking after me.

Recently attended the hotel for my cousins wedding, we took all the rooms in the hotel and they welcomed us like it was our own home. They stayed up late for us so we could use the bar both nights, the pace of west wales was refreshing for us city people. Location is fab, views are insane, staff is friendly and my pillow was perfect. Thank you so much

We went for Christmas lunch and had booked for 1.30 but we were all talking so much that we were all late going in. This was not a problem. Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable sofa. Good breakfast the following morning. We'll be going again

Our room was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and every detail was thought about. It was a perfect night away. Owners are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure every last detail is catered for and to provide a lovely, cosy warm and homely atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble

What a lovely space, a true delight to escape here for a long weekend. All the staff were super helpful and accommodating, the junior suite with balcony had fabulous views, really comfortable bed. We will definitely be coming back when time allows us to enjoy the hotel and the beautiful West Welsh countryside surrounding.
