Brae House

We enjoyed our stay at beautiful Brae House which is situated in very peaceful surroundings. Patti provided us with a luxurious room and an excellent breakfast. Overall, first class accommodation and lovely hosts. We would not hesitate in recommending Brae House and are looking forward to a return visit

Patti and Jim made us both so very welcome that it is an easy job to recommend this lovely B&B. Patti has a good knowledge of the area and directed us to local places of interest that we hadn’t already picked up on. The breakfast was superb with plenty of everything and it definitely filled us up for the busy day ahead. Our room was well appointed with a lovely en-suit shower room and the guests lounge felt like it was situated almost in the tree tops and was full of information about places to visit, it was a nice place to relax and talk to other guests. Definitely a b&b to go back to as one visit to this lovely part of Scotland was not enough.

Brae House is spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Our room was well appointed, very comfortable and had enough space to move around freely. Patti is an excellent host, being very attentive when needed but also giving us space at other times, and is very knowledgeable about the local area. The local ingredients and homemade food in our breakfasts was of he highest quality and cooked perfectly.

Breakfast is perfect. The owner is very very kind. We need to fly early on the last day and Patti got up early to prepare for the breakfast. Room is clean and the bathroom is equipped with bubble bath soup and candles. There are many DVDs available for movies when it is raining outside and that provides a cozy evening in the room.

My mum and I stayed for what was a wonderful 5 nights. The first service you get is the lovely Patti meeting you and offering to take your bags to your room. She is quite simply a really lovely lady and very easy to talk to. When you are shown to the room Patti will show you where everything is and will then leave you to settle in. We spent the next 10 minutes just admiring the incredible views. Scotland in all it's glory is laid before you. We then admired what is a beautifully laid out room, with very comfortable beds, the best pillows I think I've ever slept on, and an immaculate bathroom. At breakfast the next morning we found it to be plentiful and absolutely delicious. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were divine. And the bacon on another day was cooked to perfection. In addition to the comfort of the room, and the wonderful food, the host's knowledge of the area was very helpful. We were recommended a few places to go for dinner and to visit during our stay and all turned out to be as good as we were advised. For anyone visiting the area, who wants to see red squirrels, we would highly recommend Cluny Gardens. We were most certainly not disappointed. Mum and I would recommend this B&B to anyone heading to Scotland. It's central enough that you can visit quite a few places within a reasonable journey. Mum and I will definitely be heading up to Brae House again.

Definitely the place to stay in the Aberfeldy area. Patti and Jim were wonderful hosts and met all of our needs and expectations. They provided all the tips we needed to enjoy the Perthshire area. Dewar's Distillery is right down the road as well is the World's Best Chocolate! Would highly recommend the ultra quiet and comfortable Brae House
