Hotel in zona RWTH Chair of Computer Science 4 - Communication and Distributed Systems, Aquisgrana

L'albergo si trova in una zona molto trafficata e non ha uno spazio dove parcheggiare l'auto per scaricare e caricare i bagagli. Bisogna fermarsi a proprio rischio di tamponamento, multa e insulti. La stanza per fortuna dava sull'interno (vista su scala antiincendio e tuie morte in vaso) e quindi era silenziosa. Però era minuscola e zeppa di due poltroncine e un tavolino. Questi erano gli unici luoghi dove mettere le valigie, visto che l'armadio ne poteva contenere una insieme a qualche indumento e noi, per un viaggio di tre settimane, che prevedeva una breve sosta ad Aquisgrana, di valigie ne avevamo quattro. Il frigo era spento per motivi ecologici, diceva il cartellino che si trovava al suo interno, e nessuna richiesta avrebbe potuto farlo riaccendere. Se volevate acqua fresca potevate andare a piano terra e prelevarla a pagamento da un distributore, ma solo dalle 7 alle 24. Il bagno era grande, ma, in tanto vuoto, la doccia era aperta e i ganci per gli asciugamani erano posti in modo da essere facili bersagli del getto d' acqua. La stanza era pulita, ma questo è meno del minimo.

Ho prenotato una camera singola e sono molto soddisfatto della scelta . La struttura è vicinissima alla stazione ferroviaria e il centro città è distante pochi minuti a piedi. La camera è spaziosa pulita e confortevole. Ottima la colazione

Io e la mia amica con cui viaggiavo ci siamo trovate benissimo in questo hotel accogliente, pulito e belle stanze e letti ad 1 piazza/m nella camera twin. La colazione è molto varia e il cibo è curato. Il personale gentile , preparato e attento!!

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days while helping our son move to Aachen from a different part of Germany. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is only a 5 minute walk from the train station, and about 15 minute walk to both our son's new apartment in the Frankenberger neighborhood and also to the old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Panayoti who spoke very good English and explained all the charges on our hotel bill clearly. The breakfast offered a variety of healthy choices and fresh baked goods and was reasonably priced. The hotel felt very safe both in terms of Covid precautions and security at night time when returning late. The only thing I felt was not quite up to my expectations were the flat pillows and firm beds. I prefer fluffier pillows and a softer bed, but it was comfortable enough for the length of our stay. When I return to Aachen, I will not hesitate to book a stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the Mercure Aachen Europaplatz for one night in May 2023. This was an overnight stop on our Journey from the UK to Bonn. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the motorway and with easy access to Aachen. Check in was quick and very efficient. The staff where extremely helpful and pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We had 2 rooms including a disabled room. Both where very well laid out. Clean, Functional and very comfortable. The disabled room was a wet room style which was perfect for my sister with whom I was travelling. Plenty of space, and well laid out. The only downside if anything was that the bed was a little lower then expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was very enjoyable, the staff extremely helpful especially with getting a table set up for a wheelchair and overall seemed to be good value. Breakfast was included in the morning but had very limited choices however this may have been as we arrived close to the finishing time. Overall this was a very nice hotel with easy access, good parking, friendly staff, nice rooms and offered good value. I would not hesitate to stay here again if i had the opportunity.

Questa è la nostra prima permanenza in un hotel di Valk e io comincio con le cose positive. 1) Il personale del lobby e la colazione sono molto amichevole e utile.2) Quando siamo arrivati, abbiamo avuto un'altra stanza dopo una denuncia senza alcun problema. 1) Abbiamo una stanza in cui il telaio aveva dei padri neri che sembravano sporchi. 2) Il letto nella nuova stanza era sul lato che si trovava di fronte a un passo di un parco vacanze, che era stato indossato dai pesi pesanti nel tempo e non è mai stato ripulito. Ho risolto questo problema temporaneamente, girando il secondo mattress molto spesso. 3) La mia moglie e io non siamo riusciti a guardare le nostre vecchie foto digitalizzate e i video corti (TV ha un porto USB) perché la televisione ha chiuso tutto in modo che non potevamo nemmeno guardare la TV. Nel letto e nel muro c'erano molte parti grosse e spesso di polvere. (vedi foto) Queste camere sono molto buie anche con tutte le ”luci” attorno e per caso ho notato questo perché ho usato il mio flash la notte. 5) Il signor Valk ci ha inviato un buono per un drink di benvenuto che non specificava alcun periodo di validità; quando era sete l'ultimo giorno abbiamo deciso di usarlo e siamo andati al lobby e abbiamo mostrato questo buono, e la risposta era che era valido solo all'arrivo. Quando ho detto alla signora che questo buono non ne aveva menzionato nulla, ci ha detto di prendere una tazza di caffè dove abbiamo appena fatto colazione un'ora prima. Questa prima conoscenza (in olandese? ) con i vostri hotel Valk era freddo e non ci ha piu' fatto.

Grande hotel, molto pulito e amichevole personale! Ci siamo trasferiti due notti e ci siamo sentiti molto rilassati e l'hotel è tranquillo anche. Volevamo avere un rapido accesso ad Aachen e anche l'autostrada - buona soluzione per le persone che vanno al circuito di corsa Spa come abbiamo fatto!

Anche se non ci aspettavamo che le nostre camere fossero nel Castello stesso, l'alloggio nei moderni blocchi era corporativo e disgustoso e, sebbene descritto come ”deluxe con balcone”, non avevano visione della vecchia pila o di qualsiasi altra cosa di particolare interesse. Per essere onesti, sono rimasto in più interessanti Travel Lodges nel Regno Unito e ho pagato la metà del prezzo. L'intero posto ha oso la medicrittura, dal cameriere di check-in che non ha fatto alcuna raccomandazione su come sperimentare il Castello che, in effetti, è stato sigillato a il nostro bagno, che non aveva luce naturale o aria e doccia nel bagno. Tutti molto deludenti. Il pranzo nella vecchia Milla d'acqua è stato disgustato da un ritardo di 25 minuti prima di vedere un menu e distanze estremamente lunghe tra i corsi che abbiamo messo sotto la mancanza di personale della cucina o forse la mancanza di menù inglese, entrambi sembravano plausibili. Il cibo stesso era di alta qualità/medio range, anche se certamente non gourmet o di buon cibo. Insomma, i vini Limburg non erano inclusi nell'elenco, ma un numero molto limitato di bottiglie provenienti dal vigneto migliore promosso nella regione erano disponibili per il vetro su richiesta. Il servizio aveva i suoi guai, come chiederci cosa volevamo bere prima di essere stati forniti un elenco di bevande/vini, ma è stato generalmente caratterizzato da uno sforzo sincero di fornire un servizio attento. Abbiamo scelto di non avere il buffet per colazione a 23 euro a getto e, sebbene il direttore di check-out abbia riconosciuto verbalmente che non avevamo partecipato, in qualche modo ha incluso un articolo sulla fattura ”consegna di colazione esclusa”. che ha aggiunto 46 euro alla fattura (sì, aggiunto) che abbiamo scoperto solo quando siamo pronti a partire. È assolutamente stupido e un simbolicamente adatto per finire la nostra avventura sbagliata a Kastel Vaalsbroek.

We were nicely surprised by this new (or recently refurbished?) family-run hotel. It is very cozy, laid out in a ”motel” style where each room is entered from either the courtyard or a courtyard balcony. We did not use the swimming pool but its use was offered. The courtyard garden and surroundings are beautifully kept and fit well with quite picturesque neighbourhood of Eynatten. There are five restaurants within a walking distance if you happen to arrive, like us, on Sunday night when the hotel restaurant is closed. The breakfast was very good and when there was a slight confusion as to the time the brakfast started, the family started running around and managed to start the breakfast within minutes after our (early) arrival to the breakfast room. The location close to the highway makes it a nice place to stop on a long journey.

In Heerlen you got several options for a hotel , if you are in need - whenever I can I will go for the Kasteel TerWorm ... been here before , and I think I will be there again ... So arriving before noon is typically not the best at any hotel, no difference here on the topic - the lady at the reception was kind and get me the key and all the forms - but she asked me kindly to wait till my room will be ready - I went for a walk in the garden and surroundings , you have some picks attached to the review. Room was at the ground level in the courtyard building, room 14 - I got - and it was very clean , spacious and with a good size bathroom that had a tub and a shower - depending on what you want. Bed was comfortable - the minibar for free .... breakfast - a nice selection of buffet, eggs, meat , etc ... so everything for everybody. To distance a bit customers you could choose breakfast till 9 or after 9 ... so to split a bit the guests. Outside my room - I had room 14 - there were 2 chairs at a table and a decorative bush in that bush a duck was nesting between the branches - such a nice thing. Overall I had a very good stay - with helpful staff and a very good hotel experience and for sure if I go to Heerlen again , I would choose the same hotel for my stay. I recommend you try it and if you don't like it just blame it on me .....
