Wir waren letztmals vor 20 Jahren hier Gäste gewesen und unser Besuch jetzt im Juli 2021 ließ viele Erinnerungen wach werden. Erfreulich: vieles wurde verbessert und erneuert, aber Gottseidank nicht so, dass das Flair und die Charisma eines historischen Gebäudes zerstört worden wären. Denn: Es ist dies ja eines der beeindruckenden Bauwerke, die nach den Plänen der beiden Wiener Stararchitekten Ferdinand Fellner und Hermann Helmer errichtet worden sind (Eröffnung 1901). Stilistisch handelt es sich um einen Bau, der im damals herrschenden historistischen Trend lag, in welchem auch Elemente aus verschiedenen, auch früheren Stilepochen integriert werden durften. Hier sind es vornehmlich Elemente der Renaissance, die mit dem damals noch in den Kinderschuhen steckenden Jugendstil vermengt wurden. Der Anblick ist zweifellos beeindruckend, aber der ehrfürchtige Betrachter sollte auch wissen, dass er vor architektonischer Massenware seiner Zeit steht. Der Grund ist, dass es im 19.Jahrhundert einen wahren Kult um die beiden “Baumeister der Illusion“ gegeben hat und es deshalb unter den wohlhabenden Städten Europas einen wahren ‘run‘ gab um die Bauwerke der Beiden. Dies führte dazu, dass von Odessa bis Hamburg insgesamt 48 solcher Kolossalgebäude – wie Banken, Theater, Paläste, aber auch Hotels, Mietshäuser und ******s - durch das Wiener Architekturbüro errichtet wurden. So umfängt den Besucher beim Betreten des Foyers auch heute noch ein sehr großzügiges Ambiente, welches auch das großräumige Treppenhaus erfüllt. Im Vergleich dazu hatte unser Zimmer eher mäßige Größe und eine keinesfalls grandiose Ausstattung. Die Vorgänge waren eher dünn (schlechte Lichtdämmung am Morgen) und dahinter befanden sich die alten Doppelfenster. Das Bad/WC war renoviert aber keinesfalls großzügig. Bemerkenswert ist außerdem, dass es keine Nachttischchen und -lampen gab und auch keine AC (!) Das Frühstück war von Angebot und Ambiente ausgezeichnet und es gab sogar einen Pianisten, der für dezente Klänge sorgte. Ärgerlich war jedoch etwas anderes: An allen Tagen unserer Anwesenheit erschienen zum Frühstück auch kleine Gruppen von Personen von extern, die in sehr rustikaler Form – und in großer Lautstärke - miteinander kommunizierten und dabei auch in beträchtlicher Menge starke alkoholische Tränke konsumierten. Klassische Atmosphäre sieht anders aus. Die Herrschaften (wir vermuteten, dass es Geschäftsleute waren) verließen stets vor 10Uhr den Saal und wir freuten uns, dass man bis 10:30 frühstücken durfte. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich (insbesondere Rezeption) und äußerst hilfsbereit. Unser Pkw stand kostenfrei unmittelbar am Haus. Sehr angenehm. Fazit: Sehr zwiespältig - aber bei günstigem Preis noch empfehlenswert.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 4 notti. Non abbiamo avuto problemi, nonostante fosse una vecchia struttura. La posizione dell'hotel è molto centrale. Abbiamo camminato ovunque perche' ha tenuto il posto più lontano 20-25 minuti. Abbiamo usato solo Uber/bolt per l'aeroporto. I funzionari sono risate. Soprattutto il personale di ricezione amava molto. Non c'era una situazione molto fluida in inglese, non abbiamo capito. Ci sono acqua in ogni piano e ci piaceva molto. Non abbiamo mai comprato acqua extra, e' molto buono. Le camere sono un po' piccole. Non c'e' specchio di dimensioni nella stanza. Ho usato lo specchio, mentre uscivamo dalla stanza, ogni giorno la nostra stanza era pulita, l'ultimo giorno, il nostro aereo era al 19, e ci siamo chiesti se potevamo lasciare le cose alla stanza dopo l'uscita. Se andiamo di nuovo, restiamo qui, ci piace molto (Nota: c'è roshen sulla strada principale dell'hotel. Non dimenticate di andare a prendere cioccolato con liquore! + trovate gli ombrelli che potete usare nei giorni piovani al reception. Molto gentile!

La struttura è molto grande, Si trova di fronte a un parco A piedi per arrivare in centro ci vogliono almeno 15 minuti, Col taxi circa 4 euro..Il personale mi è sembrato molto ma molto freddo tipico di queste zone ( specie le donne) Le camere sono un po’ piccole ma tutto sommato dotate di ogni comfort dalle ciabatte all’accappatoio etc etc.. Materasso a molle improponibile.. La colazione dalle 8 alle 11 ha superato le mie aspettative, varia Sia nei dolci sia nel salato, Non aspettatevi una cucina continentale! We stayed at the Swiss hotel for two nights during the rocket shelling in Lviv when the whole city had limited access to electricity, hot water and Wi-Fi. This hotel had it all. Although the bomb shelter across the road was locked, the doorman showed us the wine cellar inside the where we could hide during civil defense siren (thankfully we did not have to use it). The layout is a bit complicated to the rooms and restaurant, where decent breakfasts are served.

Grande posizione nel centro di Lviv ma in un luogo piuttosto tranquillo. Molto grande stanza, pulito, le finestre si trovano sulla strada storica. Buono, servizio amichevole. Colazione minimalista ma buona. Nessun lusso, solo un posto goog per soggiornare per qualche giorno. Tra le svantaggi: la porta al balcone francese non si chiuse normalmente, quindi c'era aria fredda dalla strada, ma la presenza di aria condizionata elimina questo problema.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 4 notti. Non abbiamo avuto problemi, nonostante fosse una vecchia struttura. La posizione dell'hotel è molto centrale. Abbiamo camminato ovunque perche' ha tenuto il posto più lontano 20-25 minuti. Abbiamo usato solo Uber/bolt per l'aeroporto. I funzionari sono risate. Soprattutto il personale di ricezione amava molto. Non c'era una situazione molto fluida in inglese, non abbiamo capito. Ci sono acqua in ogni piano e ci piaceva molto. Non abbiamo mai comprato acqua extra, e' molto buono. Le camere sono un po' piccole. Non c'e' specchio di dimensioni nella stanza. Ho usato lo specchio, mentre uscivamo dalla stanza, ogni giorno la nostra stanza era pulita, l'ultimo giorno, il nostro aereo era al 19, e ci siamo chiesti se potevamo lasciare le cose alla stanza dopo l'uscita. Se andiamo di nuovo, restiamo qui, ci piace molto (Nota: c'è roshen sulla strada principale dell'hotel. Non dimenticate di andare a prendere cioccolato con liquore! + trovate gli ombrelli che potete usare nei giorni piovani al reception. Molto gentile!

Taurus City è uno dei miei hotel preferiti a Lviv. Rimango qui ogni volta che l'hotel offre camere a un prezzo normale, che purtroppo non è spesso. L'hotel è tra la stazione e il centro, a 15 minuti a piedi in ogni direzione. L'hotel è moderno, con un design eccellente, con un buon insonorizzazione acustica, un letto confortevole con cui non si vuole alzarsi al mattino, un'area di lavoro e un bagno ben attrezzato. Il costo della camera include un delizioso colazione, Wi-Fi e parcheggio protetto. Anche all'hotel c'è il tuo generatore, che non è necessariamente importante. Personale, salvo qualche eccezione, reagente e pronto a aiutare con qualsiasi domanda. Ottimo hotel.

Wir waren letztmals vor 20 Jahren hier Gäste gewesen und unser Besuch jetzt im Juli 2021 ließ viele Erinnerungen wach werden. Erfreulich: vieles wurde verbessert und erneuert, aber Gottseidank nicht so, dass das Flair und die Charisma eines historischen Gebäudes zerstört worden wären. Denn: Es ist dies ja eines der beeindruckenden Bauwerke, die nach den Plänen der beiden Wiener Stararchitekten Ferdinand Fellner und Hermann Helmer errichtet worden sind (Eröffnung 1901). Stilistisch handelt es sich um einen Bau, der im damals herrschenden historistischen Trend lag, in welchem auch Elemente aus verschiedenen, auch früheren Stilepochen integriert werden durften. Hier sind es vornehmlich Elemente der Renaissance, die mit dem damals noch in den Kinderschuhen steckenden Jugendstil vermengt wurden. Der Anblick ist zweifellos beeindruckend, aber der ehrfürchtige Betrachter sollte auch wissen, dass er vor architektonischer Massenware seiner Zeit steht. Der Grund ist, dass es im 19.Jahrhundert einen wahren Kult um die beiden “Baumeister der Illusion“ gegeben hat und es deshalb unter den wohlhabenden Städten Europas einen wahren ‘run‘ gab um die Bauwerke der Beiden. Dies führte dazu, dass von Odessa bis Hamburg insgesamt 48 solcher Kolossalgebäude – wie Banken, Theater, Paläste, aber auch Hotels, Mietshäuser und ******s - durch das Wiener Architekturbüro errichtet wurden. So umfängt den Besucher beim Betreten des Foyers auch heute noch ein sehr großzügiges Ambiente, welches auch das großräumige Treppenhaus erfüllt. Im Vergleich dazu hatte unser Zimmer eher mäßige Größe und eine keinesfalls grandiose Ausstattung. Die Vorgänge waren eher dünn (schlechte Lichtdämmung am Morgen) und dahinter befanden sich die alten Doppelfenster. Das Bad/WC war renoviert aber keinesfalls großzügig. Bemerkenswert ist außerdem, dass es keine Nachttischchen und -lampen gab und auch keine AC (!) Das Frühstück war von Angebot und Ambiente ausgezeichnet und es gab sogar einen Pianisten, der für dezente Klänge sorgte. Ärgerlich war jedoch etwas anderes: An allen Tagen unserer Anwesenheit erschienen zum Frühstück auch kleine Gruppen von Personen von extern, die in sehr rustikaler Form – und in großer Lautstärke - miteinander kommunizierten und dabei auch in beträchtlicher Menge starke alkoholische Tränke konsumierten. Klassische Atmosphäre sieht anders aus. Die Herrschaften (wir vermuteten, dass es Geschäftsleute waren) verließen stets vor 10Uhr den Saal und wir freuten uns, dass man bis 10:30 frühstücken durfte. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich (insbesondere Rezeption) und äußerst hilfsbereit. Unser Pkw stand kostenfrei unmittelbar am Haus. Sehr angenehm. Fazit: Sehr zwiespältig - aber bei günstigem Preis noch empfehlenswert.

Mi piaceva molto l'hotel! Confortabile, pulito. personale gentile. Alimento molto delizioso! Colazione - tavola svedese, grande scelta. Nella stanza c'è tutto necessario. Parcheggio gratuito sul territorio. Ci siamo stati molto soddisfatti. Ritorneremo certamente.

Hotel was clean and nice . But one thing made everything so mess. Really mess. There was restaurant in the hotel. I saw from far away location was after reception and lift. But i never been in restaurant. And night before check out reception ask to me pay my restaurant bill. It was funny but i never been in restaurant:) so i said i never been but okey if you say so maybe my friend used and i paid the amount. It wasn’t big amount 300uah something.. then i asked my friend and he said no we never been in restaurant..morning time I went to reception and i asked kindly and explained what happened. And the person said. I can not do anything it was charged on your room number :):) AND THEY DID NOT SHOW ME ANY RECEIPT OR ANY OF MY SIGN ANY PROOF OF EXPENSES NOTHING.. so is it really your way treating people like that. Its just so funny. Amount was silly . I was paying that money nearly every day for tip. Whenever go out. But if the amount will be 100.000 instead of 300uah will you do do same ? And if they sincerely saying expenses is ours they could check the cctv because 24 hours someone always sitting cctv monitor next to reception. But as i said even there was no bill nothing:) anyway hotel was to be honest comfortable, and clean. But this cheap treatment made my feel so bad. And they treat me like i am lying to them. If i am gonna lying why i gonna pay with no question? I do not care that silly amounts money but it was so bad ..
