We stayed at the Jumeirah for our Umrah trip. Our room was fantastic but we were so appalled by the dining service and quality of food. At breakfast, the service is terrible. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and the people behind the live food stations need to smile like the gentleman on the egg station. I asked 5 times for a karak chai from the start of entering the breakfast until the end; I was there for 1.5 hours and every single person I asked was unable to get me the karak. They kept ignoring and disappearing. In the end I had to remind the waiters how long I had been waiting only to be told it had run out. I was waiting for a very long time just to be told this! In the end someone did get me the karak but it was so hard to just ask for something so simple. Also every day at breakfast the tables are not set out with the cuttlery and napkins missing. Every time I ask someone for some cutlery as there isn’t any on the table and it doesn’t get replaced but again we are always ignored and have many times helped ourselves to cutlery from other tables or the station where staff store the cutlery. We got very tired of the service here and it definitely doesn’t live up to the standards of other 5 star hotels (except the hotel and room itself). The staff are very unhelpful and the kitchen staff are awful. Having come from a hospitality background, there needs to be more structure in your kitchen and managers need to stop prioritising specific tables. All guests should be treated the same. We came to the buffet dinner and we’re looking forward to a lovely meal however the food was absolutely awful quality. The lamb shoulder was so over cooked and dry. We have never tasted anything quite like it. I have attached a picture to show the quality. It was inedible. There were literally no staff at any of the service stations. We wanted some of the grilled meat and chicken and we had searched for someone to serve it to us and he took one handful of it and put it on our plates. That is not an adequate protein portion. The portion was enough to fit a tablespoon of meat. The options were so poor. Again, no table service and no napkins and cutlery. We had to keep asking for things that should have been there. We didn’t even have water bottles and the table next to us had 5 water bottles for 2 people. We were really looking forward to the dinner but it was the worst buffet we have been to for a five star hotel. Nothing was fresh and the dessert selection was terrible too. Definitely nothing 5 star about it. The pastry was old and stale and very sweet without any flavour. It’s such a shame at such a high price which does not reflect any quality at all. We were so disappointed with the stay. We were hoping to return later this year with our family but we will have to find another hotel as this is hotel is not at the standard to bring our family to. Your location, decor, room size are amazing but your customer service and quality of food really lets you down. It is such a shame as we were really looking forward to staying here again. Se cerchi un hotel a 4 stelle, non cercare da nessuna parte. Questo è il migliore che si possa ottenere. Hanno un servizio di autobus gratuito che funziona ogni mezz'ora. Ti cade a Marwa Gate. Hai 10-15 minuti a piedi per raggiungere Haram. Il tuo pick-up dallo stesso posto. Non ho avuto alcun problema per il servizio di autobus. Il servizio di navetta era abbastanza buono. L'unico fallimento è camminare verso il haram. Ho avuto mio figlio con me e lui si sforzava di camminare per ogni volta. Il cibo per l'hotel è peggio. Non mi piaceva affatto. Ho avuto il buffet per colazione e ho pagato 100 riyals. Era una peggiore esperienza alimentare. La scelta del colazione era molto limitata. In generale è un buon hotel di bilancio. Penso che si compromessi da qualche parte.

È un hotel molto bello. Passeggiata a 79 (10 minuti) che conduce direttamente alla Kaaba. Ci sono due torri, 1 e 2, entrambi hanno un grande colazione. Ci sono due ristoranti nella torre 2. C'è un caffè che può fare torta di compleanno se lo desiderate. C'è una bella sala di preghiera all'interno dell'hotel. Raccomando molto questo hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city. First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey. The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful. In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay. Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.

Leggi alcune recensioni negative perché ci sono vere. Vecchi hotel con mobili danneggiati nelle camere (le due camere che ho soggiornato erano le stesse). Quando ho menzionato il povero servizio alla gestione (veramente lento servizio in camera/magazzinamento) mi è stato detto che ‘haven’ non ho trascorso molto onestamente uno dei peggiori controlli in e servizio che ho mai ricevuto. L’ubicazione è l’unico fattore di wow per questo hotel

The room was never cleaned unless requested. It seems they do it on purpose because they want a tip. The five of us stayed there for five days, and for the last two days, we didn't request any cleaning, resulting in the trash piling up, which we just placed in front of the room

Hotel buono ma mi aspettavo un buon colazione dove la carne, il pesce, il pollo sarebbero offerti, e non solo il salsa. Il Hilton e il Doubletree nel sud-est asiatico sono molto meglio in termini di scelta e disponibilità di carne/pollo : rendang, pollo tostato, pesce vaporizzato, ecc. Inoltre, troppo sale è trovato in molti pasti, che è così triste.Smettila di mettere il sale in eccesso, i clienti possono sempre aggiungere più di loro stessi. Il Wi-Fi potrebbe essere molto meglio per collegare e avere una velocità decente. Ho dovuto lamentarmi e mi è stato dato un codice. Sono venuto per la mia umrah, così spiritualmente ero troppo colpito per essere in un albero doppio che ha sbagliato il suo standard che ho usato in altri hotel doppio e Hilton. Non poteva essere fornita una radiazione, a differenza di molti altri hotel che mi hanno fornito una.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Haram, especially near King Abdul Aziz Gate. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, making it a relaxing place to return to after a long day. The breakfast was decent, with a large variety of options to choose from. I also enjoyed the view of the Haram from my room. One great convenience was being able to pray in the room during busy times, as the sound of the congregation from Masjid al-Haram was played in speakers of the room that you can turn on or off according to your comfort. The only downside was that the washroom was a bit small, but overall, the stay was very comfortable.
