Il nostro soggiorno familiare in questo hotel sarebbe stato spettacolare se non fosse per l'atteggiamento rotto del manager dell'hotel chiamato Galen. Dopo che ha mandato il suo staff a fare un giro intorno alle stanze di ricetta dopo le 22:30 per scoprire se qualcuno di noi aveva ordinato un pasto che alcuni ospiti non pagavano, così che potessero andare a casa. Siamo stati addormentati rapidamente quando si sono battuti come pianificavamo di dormire presto per il nostro volo mattinale iniziale con una partenza alle 6:00. Ci svegliarono per chiederci qualcosa che non avevamo idea di scusarci dopo e lasciare, e nessuno di noi dormirebbe dopo fino alle 1:00. Quando si affrontò con lei per chiederle perché mandò persone a svegliarci e a esprimere la nostra frustrazione, non mostrava alcuna rimpianto o responsabilità per la sua decisione e ci disse semplicemente che non c'era nulla che potesse fare, doveva sapere. Quando ci chiese di tè di camomilla, rideva nei nostri volti e disse che non avevano niente e non c'era niente che potessero fare per aiutarci dopo averci svegliati, e andò via lasciandoci lì. Abbiamo pagato per assicurare un sonno tranquillo e confortevole solo per svegliarsi per qualcosa che non aveva niente a che fare con noi e per avere un atteggiamento distintivo in cambio. Egli aveva promesso di fare dei colazione e di mandarli in camera nostra per la mattina prossima per la nostra partenza precoce, e non li abbiamo mai visto.

Quando si prenota un alloggio, non si sa mai se sarà davvero così bella come si presenta nelle foto. Questa proprietà ha superato tutto! I proprietari Leane e Deon sono estremamente carini e le ringraziiamo per la loro ospite. La vista è grande. Le grandi finestre vi invitano a trascorrere giorni guardando l'oceano. La casa è situata direttamente sulla spiaggia. La camera era eccellente. Bella letto, grande, pulito, spazioso bagno con ogni lusso. Bagni, toletti, toletti di spiaggia, tutto è stato pensato. Un Nesspresso in camera, bevande (alcoliche), snacks. Aggiungi a questo meraviglioso vista dell'oceano dal nostro letto. È troppo male che siamo stati qui solo per due notti. Il colazione è lussuoso e tutto quello che si può pensare per il colazione è disponibile. La casa stessa è molto efficiente decorato con molte belle opere d'arte. Belli ristoranti vicino a cena, dove abbiamo ricevuto consigli da Deon e Leane. Questo alloggio è molto consigliato!

Die Lage des Guesthouses Shan C ist außergewöhnlich schön: direkt auf der Duine gelegen. Vom Zimmer, bzw. der Garteterrasse hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf den breiten Strand und den indischen Ozean. Das Zimmer Nr. 1 war deutlich kleiner, recht niedrig, weniger luxoriös und modern als das Foto auf der Homepage erwarten lässt. Die Gastgeber Ken und Belinda waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und haben uns kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Kaltgetränke, Pralinen und Sherry ins Zimmer gestellt. Das Badezimmer ist modern ausgestattet und ausreichend groß. Die zum Zimmer gehörende Terrasse ist mit Loungesesseln, einem kleine Tisch und zwei Stühlen ausgestattet. Ken brachte uns sogar Liegen vom Pool- Bereich zur Ozeanseite. Der Aufenthalt war nett, nächstes Mal würden wir aber eine neuere, modernere Unterkunft auf der Düne, in der auch Frühstück angeboten wird, vorziehen.

We only stayed at Cinnamon Boutique guest house for one night whilst driving along the Garden Route but could quite happily have stayed longer. Our room was huge with a big lovely comfortable bed, and was beautifully decorated. It had two large windows with patio doors and amazing views of the mountains and trees. The hotel itself is tucked away in the pretty village of Wilderness which has some beautiful walks through the forests and is a really peaceful place. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it was fantastic - one of the best meals we had in our 3 weeks in South Africa - the menu was really varied, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Desmond and Johan were the perfect hosts - really friendly and welcoming. All in all, we couldn't fault our stay there at all and would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
