This is a very beautiful hotel to stay in. The hotel itself seems quite new and the rooms are very well appointed. Everything is very clean and fresh. It is a stylish hotel with nice paints and touches to the exterior and interior. The staff is very friendly and professional. Janice at the front desk was exceptional and very kind. I would highly recommend the courtyard downtown Lansing. One warning the surrounding area is a bit scetchy and maybe not so safe after hours but the hotel and lot seem quite secure.

Sì, sono rimasto qui per una notte.Sono arrivato alle 1:00. L'hotel ha organizzato un'auto gratuita per prendere me all'aeroporto. Devi chiamare in anticipo 2-3 giorno. La mia gente è molto armoniosa. Anche se il volo è tardi circa vent' minuti, ha aspettato con pazienza. Quando sono arrivato all'hotel, mi aiuteranno a gestire il soggiorno. La stanza è comoda e pulita. La stanza è condizionata, quindi puoi regolare la temperatura della stanza appropriata. La cucina è molto piena, con caffè, zucchero e sacchetto di tè. Mi sono lasciato presto, ho portato il mio bagaglio in una reception. Quando sono tornato, mi hanno anche usato il bagno pubblico e mi hanno mandato all'aeroporto gratuitamente.

I can't say enough good things about red roof inn East Lansing. The room was clean and stocked the staff was amazing as usual. I've never had a bad experience at the red roof and highly recommend it to everyone. The women in the office are always very nice and professional they always helped me with whatever I needed and are the best .

WOW, has this gone down hill. I am so embarrassed that I recommend this hotel to 4 other businesses that all came in for the show we were doing this weekend. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years. I was SHOCKED at the treatment from check in to check out. Mr. Willis was the ONLY person at this hotel that was kind and welcomed you. It started at check in, the lady with colored dreadlocks told me I had to pay for my 3 night stay. I said no, I had already prepaid over a month ago. I proceeded to find my receipt and she said ”well nobody pulled the money from the third party so you will have to pay”. Nope, I will not pay. I do not know what your procedures are but I am not paying twice. To which she replied with slamming down my key card as hard as she could and said have a nice day. I said I needed 2 cards, there were 2 of us staying in the room. This really sent her into a tail spin. She refused to give me her name. Never told me anything, no breakfast times, no housekeeping policy, nothing. The next 3 mornings we down about 30 minutes after it started. They RAN OUT OF FOOD all 3 days. If you came down 40 minutes after, they were told there was only oatmeal. The tables were filthy. And this morning the lady who worked the breakfast came out and told many of us the new manager cut back and only orders enough food for about 10 people even though hundreds were staying and he would not order any more food until Wednesday when he finally returned. All of my friends in the other rooms did not get any breakfast. Housekeep is not every other day until you have stayed there 3 days. Of course we ran out of toilet paper, wash clothes, and clean towels. This would have been great to know up front so we would have known. I would have never booked this hotel knowing that. And the amount of strangers coming in off the street not staying there but just hanging out, was alarming. I will NEVER stay here again. I was told they let go of all the full time staff and hired in part timers so they did not have to pay benefits which is why the staff is so angry and taking it out on the customers. Rather this is true or not, it was so very obvious they have personnel issues and it is now become the customers problem as well. The 4 rooms we all booked will now be booked at a place that treats customers as if they value them.
Hampton Inn & Suites Lansing West

Stayed in April 2024 and May 2024 with help from Gail and other front counter staff. This location was handy for us to visit with family, the room was clean, tidy and sanitized very well. The housekeeping staff and maintenance were handy when a couple of small things were needed (new towels, tightening of swimming pool ladder and fixing stuck quarters in the guest laundry dryer). They were fast and efficient to meet anything that was needed. Right across the street is a store called ”Horrocks” that has everything you might need in the way of food, entertainment and sweets. Restaurants like Cheddars, Texas Roadhouse, The Tangy Crab and many more including fast food are very handy. Easy access to the highways from this hotel and fuel stations, stores for shopping and banks are within a mile or more too! Gail is amazing and the other front counter staff are very helpful. There is small indoor store in the hotel but Horrocks is the place to go for other items. Access to downtown Lansing and other local attractions makes this a great place to stay. Don't overlook this location because it is great for business people, groups and families. The hot tub and pool are good amenities along with the fitness room.

We chose to be a Hilton Honors as we travel a lot, we booked a room inclusive of breakfast, upon checking in, we were not welcome as a member and breakfast was not discussed, we asked where the breakfast gonna be served, we directed to the location, in the next day we are ready to take breakfast, the staff in the restaurant seems confused, I mentioned that I booked a room with breakfast included, staff told us to go back to the reception to get a voucher, receptionist told me that they do not sell a room with breakfast included, she liked to argue thinking that I am telling a lie so I presented the booking confirmation and mentioned that I booked through Hilton website, so finally she gave me a voucher for 2 adults so I said how about my 2 kids are they not gonna eat?! In the website kids under 5 is free breakfast, then again she argued with me. I felt like im not staying in hilton brand hotel. My point is, this is not my problem that's the company problem, the website is not telling the right information, the hotel is under renovation, their main dining restaurant is a la Carte service not a buffet etc. Staffs are not pleasant, rude, reception staffs are not warm and welcome not supposed to work in the front. Valet people is not too bad, no complain. Hotel is currently renovating that's why it's clean but I don't recommend this hotel. Expensive room rate with breakfast inclusive if you just gonna get a la carte service with just 2 eggs and hard sausage. So no, not to this hotel, I'm not coming back.
