Forse non sono le migliori foto per mostrare il posto, ma potete vedere lo spazio della stanza e la vibrazione estiva mallorchina che emerge da essa. Ci tocco un appartamento con cucina e i suoi accessori, caffettiera, forno e lavastoviglie. Un letto super comodo e spazioso, con involucri su entrambi i lati del letto per caricare sia portatili che mobili. Lavatrice con doccia, asciugamani e shampoo/gel incluso. Un luogo spettacolare per passare alcuni giorni sull'isola. L'installazione ha a sua disposizione una piscina e pista da tennis. Molto vicino alla spiaggia e a una spiaggia preziosa. Quando eravamo, erano aperti solo i supermercati di Portocolom, ma proprio davanti al locale c'è un Spar per gli acquisti.

”Where to start” as they say. Although in August and the hotel was full, the place was dead - the pool has no snack bar (they say it does but it does not), and the main bar was deserted. Even the patio area with garden furniture, many of the seats were broken, and one 2-seater looked as though it had been demolished. Our room was a disgrace. The laminate flooring had been poorly fitted, much of it loose with gaps, and at its worst in the bathroom where one of the laminate planks was springing up loose and fouled by the bottom of the bathroom door. The silicone sealant was poorly done, cracked and full of black mould - along junction of the flooring and WC pan, between the bathroom flooring and the walls black mould, and very bad in the shower area, a lot of black mould as the sealant was defective, cracked etc, with black mould. The beds were old and grubby and worn out - even the edges of the beds were threadbare and badly worn. Also the mattress totally unsupportive and sagging. They did replace the mattress which wasn't as bad but still poor and still on a badly worn old bed base with threadbare edges. The standard of finish throughout was very poor. Whoever had done the laminate flooring did so very poorly, and not rectified. I work in construction both newbuild and refab, it appears they've just accepted bad workmanship, never had it put right and it's gone downhill from there. The place needs gutted out and done professionally. The staff try hard, especially Iman - she is very professional - but there appears to be a lack of investment by the owners. Even the hotel entrance canopy is falling apart - that is not the fault of staff but of those who own the property not investing and letting it go downhill. It would not surprise me if in the near future there were to be a change of ownership and the whole place gutted out and refurbished head to toe - it badly needs it. Including the ancient lift which seems to have been installed many decades ago. And even the row of clocks in Reception stating the time in various World Cities don't work and are all askew - a sign of a bygone era now sadly lapsed. We thought that the Restaurant staff work really hard (especially the relatively young Manageress) and the wine and drinks there were reasonably priced but again the place is crying out for investment and refurbishment. Even the stage in the main bar seemed to be cordoned off in a state of permanent dis-use together with the table tennis table next to it and pool table - both unused when we were there along with the deserted bar - even though the hotel was full - you could hear people commenting on how badly run everything seemed to be, and we heard a complaining guest in reception walking away with a disgruntled quip ”...it doesn't work like everything in this hotel”. Sorry, but in our humble opinion this place is not 3-star, nowhere near, and it certainly does not compare favourably at all with other hotels we've been to with suc

Buona la posizione dell'hotel che permette di arrivare comodamente alla spiaggia a piedi. È un hotel. Molto grande, 7 piani con circa 40 camere a piano. Tipico hotel da villeggiatura. Il parcheggio dell'hotel non è sufficiente a contenere tutte le auto, però si può tranquillamente parcheggiare sulla strada che è molto larga e, essendo una strada secondaria, frequentata pochissimo. Camere sufficientemente spaziose, tutte con piccolo balconcino. Peccato per la zona bagno che vede separato il water in uno stanzino, la doccia (enorme) a sé stante e il lavandino in ambiente open. Purtroppo le ventole dell'ambiente sono molto rumorose. Buono il condizionamento della camera. Ottima anche la colazione, molto variegata e tutta a buffet. La qualità dei prodotti è di buon livello. Idem per chi decide di cenare in hotel, con cena a buffet che propone diverse pietanze. Qui il livello di alcuni piatti non è proprio il massimo. Lo chef deve essere extra europeo perché nel ragù alla bolognese, e anche in quello all'amatriciana, ha messo il cumino o comunque una spezia esotica..

Abbiamo appena tornato dopo aver soggiornato a Vistamar per una settimana B&B. L'hotel è situato in una bella posizione e la vista che si ottiene dal porto quando si è aver il vostro fratky è così buona come si ottiene. 2 bellissime piscina con un bar dove si possono bere bevande e snack. Grande palestra, se si vuole sudare e il personale è molto amichevole e utile. Le camere sono di base, ma sono pulite ogni giorno e le tole si svuotano l'uno dall'altro, abbiamo anche una bella vista della baia da svegliarsi. Il buffet è stile con tutto quello che vuoi, frutta fresca, pane, formaggio, bacon, tutte le cose di solito fratturate. Se hai scelto di rimanere in un grande hotel con molti altri ospiti, non sarà silenzioso, se è quello che vuoi o ne hai bisogno, noleggiare una villa. Noi difo saremo di nuovo, grazie per una vacanza fantastica.

Hotel recentemente ristrutturato, colazione spettacolare, buono anche il caffè alle macchinette. Camera bellissima, ampia, ben arredata, doppio split a/c sia in camera da letto che nella zona soggiorno antistante, separabile con porte scorrevoli. Buona insonorizzazione. Abbiamo soggiornato in un piano slto, con una bella vista dallo spazioso balcone, dotato di poltroncine e tavolino (no posacenere, l'hotel vorrebbe essere smoke free anche negli spazi all'aperto). Pulizia camere impeccabile. Ottima la biancheria fornita (lenzuola e morbidissimi asciugamani), con cambi in ottica green, comunque eseguiti puntualmente quando richiesti dal cliente. Non abbiamo usufruito della bella zona piscina/bar/giochi dall'altro lato della strada (raggiungibile tramite sottopasso interno) perché l'hotel è a 3/4 minuti di macchina dalla splendida Cala Marçal, che abbiamo frequentato anche la sera per i suoi ristorantini. Nessuna difficoltà di parcheggio a fine agosto vicino all'albergo. Portocolom è una buona base per visitare il sud di Maiorca e il JS Portocolom Suites un'ottima soluzione per rilassarsi e riposarsi al rientro in una camera pulita, ampia e funzionale.
