Our stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful! The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment... And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands,the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.

Traveling for a death in the family, upon our arrival, which was a little bit past the 3:00PM check in we were informed they were short staffed in housekeeping and a room wasn't yet available and if we were OK with a handicap room, I had no problem because I am disabled . No biggie, we went out for dinner. The problem was we didn't receive a phone call until after 6PM, 3 hours past the time that you could check in and our room was a standard room, clearly not to aid in handicapped people . Had there been a viewing service that evening, it would of been an major issue because we had to put our belongings in another family members room. We looked past that. When we finally got in our room there was like 2 pieces of toilet paper on the roll with no extra rolls available. Again, no biggie, went to the front desk and they took care of it quickly. Day of the funeral, go to take a shower, no body wash. Again, front desk was notified and they took care of it. Our final night, I was woken up by a clock alarm coming from another room that woke me up way to early than the time I had my own alarm set. I wasn't about to go and try to locate this mysterious alarm and have it shut off, but the alarm rang well over 15 to 20 mins. The hot tub was nice to relax, but sand was on the bottom of it, and the pool was extremely cold to me. I will say the staff that was on sight were very friendly and helpful to the best of their ability considering their lack of people to do required jobs and I did appreciate there was parking for Veterans. If I were traveling just with my wife and children I would of opted for a different hotel, but seeing how this was the location my family decided for all of us to go so we could be together in our time of mourning, it is what it is. I will not be looking into this chain of hotels for a future travel plans.

Ho avuto una esperienza molto deludente e inconfortabile con il personale del desk front. Sono arrivato all'hotel domenica 1° marzo alle 12.30 e mi sono chiesto gentilmente se fosse possibile un check-in precoce. Le due donne che lavoravano alla ricezione mi hanno detto che non erano disponibili camere fino alle 4.00. Ho detto che era tutto a posto e che mi aspettavo nel lobby. Tuttavia, mentre aspettavo, altri ospiti sono arrivati e sono stati immediatamente controllati. Era chiaro che erano disponibili camere, che rendevano la situazione ingiusta. Poi mi sono avvicinato al ufficio con gli stessi ospiti che si erano reclutati e ho detto che avevo una prenotazione per oggi. Il ricevitore ha agito come se non fosse successo nulla e sembrava offeso. Durante il check-in, ha cercato di pagare la mia carta per la prenotazione, anche se la mia prenotazione era già stata pagata completamente online. Quando ho visto l’importo e ho chiesto per cosa era, non poteva spiegarlo chiaramente. Devo dirle ancora una volta che la prenotazione è già stata pagata. Entrambi i ricevitori hanno iniziato a controllare il sistema e sembravano irritati e nervosi davanti agli altri ospiti, e alla fine hanno spiegato che c'era un deposito di sicurezza di $50 al giorno, che ho capito e concordo pienamente. Tuttavia, hanno cercato di rimborsare l'importo sbagliato, e ho dovuto chiedermelo ancora una volta prima di correggere finalmente l'importo del deposito. In generale, la situazione era estremamente incomoda e poco professionale: mi è stato detto di aspettare fino alle 4 pm mentre altri ospiti sono stati iscritti, e poi ho dovuto affrontare la confusione sulle tasse che avrebbero dovuto essere chiare fin dall'inizio. Le strutture dell'hotel sono buone, ma il servizio di desk front è stato molto deludente e richiede un miglioramento.

La stanza è grande e spaziosa, le strutture sono molto pronte, microonde, vasca da bagno, lavastoviglie e caffè dovrebbero essere complete.Il cibo è anche completo, anche con lavastoviglie, e può fare qualcosa da solo quando si ferma in breve.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

Not bad spot Marcus was very nice and helped us. Not super clean spot but if you’re just stopping in the people are nice and work late.

This hotel is aging, but the location is amazing! We traveled to Cleveland for my son's birthday trip to a Cavs game. Upon arrival, the valet was extremely congested. No one came out to welcome us or anything so I thought all the valet were out parking cars. Instead, three of them were inside, laughing and talking. There was no mention of cost anywhere, so I was very surprised at the $50/day charge upon checkout. Considering it took them an hour to bring my car back to me upon check out, I would say that charge is VERY exaggerated. When we went to check in, I was surprised that they needed a credit card to hold $200 on. I prepaid and expected they would need a card on file, not to hold funds. Anyway, our first room seemed nice. It had an amazing view of Rocket Arena. But, I decided to rest a minute and when I looked at the ceiling, it was falling apart!! This was something I decided to give a pass on, considering the age of the building. However, when I got up to shower and there was a huge clump of long brown hair on the wall, that was too much for me. I went to the front desk and they were very nice about the issue and quickly moved us to another room. The rooms are basic. There is an armoire with an iron, two bottles of water, a coffee maker and coffee and a mini fridge. The televisions in the rooms are very large, that was nice. Check out was easy, just a lobby full of people all waiting for their cars to show up! The only other thing I can say is that I paid for a supreme room through Trip and was only given a standard room. So, there must be a miscommunication between Trip and the hotels. Be wary...

The location was primo right off Interstate 71, it was very easy to find. Cleanliness was good. I think this was a huge conference center at one time , that has seen better days. There is a large indoor pool, and large restaraunt that was not in use (the restauranut ). The indoor garden space must have been fantastic but is in need of severe care. Large dead plants, extremely hot and humid from the pool I guess. The hotel also appears very dark, I can only guess how much it would cost to air condition and upkeep the place. Service was okay, it was a man who was just okay as compared to the morning person who was happy and upbeat. I did see the man made the huge effort to help with card keys that did not work, etc. The room was fine except for the extremely loud A/C unit. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The toilet ocasionnally continued to run which I manually fixed. Enough towels and such but could have used more bar soap. The TV was one of the easiest to use for me. The advertised continental breakfast consisted of dry cereal for the kids, milk and yogurt in the fridge, weak coffee, apple juice, fresh fruit, and oatmeal to mix yourself. Needed more hot water to use. Also needed a carafe of decaf coffee. The outside had parking spots for hundreds. Kept up area pretty well. Bed was comfortable, and I love the pillows, they were just right. I think all the carpets in the place need steam cleaning, they did not smell but they were very dark. Again, this place needs a big infusion of cash and some personnel need to return to hospitality management school.

Abbiamo avuto esperienze positive nel mio passato di soggiorno a LaQuinta. Tuttavia, il recente soggiorno a Hilliard, OH era molto diverso. Le questioni chiave erano la tenda da doccia moldy e la custodia di casa. In particolare: 1 Incapacità di riinstallare il paracadute di doccia sostitutivo fino al gestore del turno notturno, “Mohamed” è venuto personalmente nella nostra stanza per installarlo circa le 11 pm. 2 Possiamo mettere il segno “Non disturbare” sul manico di porta esterna. È stato previsto che il custode ritorni in un secondo momento dopo aver lasciato la stanza al 11AM con il segno rimosso. Tuttavia, non è stato fatto nessun custode. La spiegazione che abbiamo ricevuto era: ”Quando il custode vede il segno di ”Non disturbare”, si presume che non fosse necessario alcun custode. La maggior parte degli hotel che ho soggiornato in casa sarebbe stata effettuata automaticamente dopo che il segnale è stato rimosso, o almeno una cortese chiamata /message sarà lasciata sul telefono della stanza. Due delle quattro notti che abbiamo soggiornato, il lavoro di custodia includeva solo letto fatto. Nessun vuoto, bagaglio non può essere vuoto, tazze usate non sostituite, immersioni e contatori non pulite. Suggerimento: Sostituire il segno corrente che ha “Non disturbare” su entrambi i lati a “Non disturbare” su un lato e “Per favore pulire la stanza” sull’altro lato, rendendo chiaro ai custodi di prestare i loro servizi normali. Abbiamo fatto un check-in il giovedì sera. Venerdì mattina abbiamo scoperto che il lato sinistro della cortina di finestra pesante era bloccato. L'abbiamo riportato al divano frontale e abbiamo promesso che sarebbe stato curato. Possiamo avere solo una parte della luce del giorno e solo la metà della scena esterna durante tutto il nostro soggiorno.

The hotel was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Although the parking was not right on the property it was in a covered parking lot within a short walk to the hotel and the cost was included in our stay ! The front lobby looked rather new and was clean and shiny. Front desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and accommodating for 2 of us and came with the amenities you would generally expect. We had a king bed and it was comfortable, although the pillows were rather soft and despite both of us having 2 pillows each we could have used 1 or 2 more to be more comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was well done with a good variety of choices for us as we eat a carnivore diet. The coffee was a good as you would get at Starbucks. I don't know her name but the staff member who kept the buffet full was definitely one of the hardest working individuals I have seen. She was friendly, accommodating and exceptional and the hotel should award her appropriately. The only negative to our stay was that on the 2nd day of being there we returned later in the day after sightseeing and our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. I called the front desk and the staff person who had checked us in informed me that they had forgotten to tell us that housekeeping is only every other day. Staff member did provide us with additional towels however it would have been nice to have the bed turned down and used towels taken away.
