Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Grande esperienza. Mi sono diretto verso l'hotel esausto dopo una giornata di escursioni e sono stato assistito dalla signora Huang Xinhua che mi ha immediatamente procurato una tazza di tè caldo tanto necessaria in casa. Non posso dire cose migliori sul suo servizio: è stato davvero di prim'ordine. Aveva consigli per il tramonto, l'alba e per la tappa successiva del mio viaggio la mattina successiva. Per non parlare del fatto che è stata estremamente attenta e ha anche organizzato bevande gratuite e mi ha dato alcuni souvenir di cibo locale da portare a casa! Le camere stesse erano un po' datate, comprensibile data la loro posizione in montagna, ma per il resto pulite, confortevoli e ben attrezzate. Penso che questo hotel sia estremamente ben posizionato, a solo una breve distanza tra Guangmingding, Turtle Peak e la monorotaia del Mare Occidentale. 民宿靠近鳩茲古鎮景區北入口，走走很近，環境幽靜。老闆人非常好，知道我們第二天要起早趕火車，特地安排阿姨提早倆小時給我們一大家子做早餐。第二天早上我們起來的時候老闆已經在廚房安排了，阿姨的早餐做的豐富又好吃，可惜當時時間緊沒拍照。民宿訂的兩個房間都非常大，寬敞又新。

It was my first time staying at The Langham Hefei, but I can also say it was my third as I extended my stay twice. The staff's courtesy, warmth and the right level of care started right at the moment I entered the hotel lobby. The wall to wall and floor to ceiling marble can be cold, but The Langham Hefei 's lobby feels warm and welcoming due to the yellow hue of its lighting I believe and its staff. I immediately smelled flowers after I stepped in the lobby, pleasant, not overwhelming. It came from a huge bouquet composed of hundreds of pink lilies, not the pink roses representing The Langham. I prefer lily's smell anyway. The bouquet is by the front desk, so guests could enjoy lilies while waiting for check-in. As a matter of fact, I waited no time. Ada Yang greeted me immediately and checked me in within 2 minutes. I was very glad I moved from the other 5-star hotel which I had been told was the ceiling of the Hefei hotel scene. It took that hotel 10 minutes to check me in. The breakfast experience at The Langham Hefei was also great! The Seasons restaurant is big enough so that the seating was always available whenever I went down, which was not the case at the other hotel. In addition to daily cleaning, House keeping also came in the afternoon to make sure every everything is in good order and ask if additional supplies are needed. After two nights stay, I decided to change my original hotel hopping plan and continued staying at The Langham Hefei. It was again Ada Yang who helped me with the extension. She was warm, professional and efficient as always. Due to my itinerary change, I extended my stay the second time. This time it was Kristen He (XIAO He) who helped me. I experienced the same Langham quality from Xiao He - courtesy, warmth, knowledge and efficiency. She explained to me the responsibilities of each front line role and Langham's efforts to optimize guests' experience.She even went extra miles to ask her manager's permission to give me a complimentary Happy Hour. The Happy Hour is on the 44th floor at The Langham Club where mini buffet and beverage are provided 5:30 - 8:00pm. The staff there, Tracy, Lucy and Anne, were equally exceptional! They were proactive and ready to help. I asked for a Cosmo, but the cranberry juice had run out. Lucy made one with grapefruit juice and it tasted wonderful! Thank you, Ada, Xiao He, Tracy, Lucy, Ann and each every staff I met, you made my stay a memorable one!

If you are planning to visit Yellow Mountains (Huangshan) Shanshui Boutique hotel is conveniently located as it is just 25 min drive (by taxi) from high speed train station, also easy travel to the Yungpu cable car (about 45-60min) to access the Mountains, and less than 40 min to get to Xidi ancient vilage. The architecture is a must, you can appreciate the old facade mingled with the new avant garde design that faces the river and the swimming pool. It also has plenty spaces designed to relax while drinking some tea, coffee, etc as well as a playground -we always thank when traveling with small kids-. It also has a spacious library room where you can relax reading a book, playing cards or just having a cup of coffee. The swimming pool is also key attraction specially if you are lucky with weather. Breakfast is buffet with a very good mixture of Chinese and western options available. The hotel is situated conveniently near the promenade adjacent the river, cobbled stoned shopping street and Tunxi old street. But the best of all for us was Jerry, he personally guided us to visit some village nearby and also help with the Mountain tour suggestions. The staff also help us with some suggestions to eat local food nearby. So we definitely recommend staying in this beautifully designed hotel with friendly staff and service in English and Chinese.

Sono molto felice di scegliere lo Xihai Hotel questa volta. Il servizio e l'ambiente igienico dell'hotel sono buoni. Il cibo in hotel era ottimo, i tre piatti che abbiamo ordinato la sera erano tutti deliziosi. Anche la colazione è piuttosto ricca. Hanno tutto quello che è standard negli hotel a cinque stelle ai piedi della montagna. La camera con balcone delle celebrità di Internet ti consente di goderti la splendida vista del picco Danxia mentre sei seduto sul balcone. Questa volta sono stato molto fortunato e ho visto il tramonto. Un ringraziamento speciale al maggiordomo Xiao Zhang Dal momento in cui abbiamo effettuato il check-in, ci ha presentato con molta attenzione gli orari dei pasti e del tramonto dell'hotel, ecc., Facendoci sentire a casa!

È stata un'esperienza molto bella. Il monte Huangshan ha uno scenario meraviglioso, in particolare l'area panoramica di Beihai nella montagna posteriore. Per questo viaggio abbiamo prenotato l’Huangshan Shilin Hotel, che dista circa un’ora di viaggio dalla funivia Yungu ed è molto vicino. Non appena siamo entrati nell'hotel, la governante Xiao He ci ha ricevuto e ci ha fornito servizi di spiegazione individuale, introduzione alle attrazioni e così via. Dopo aver guidato la stanza, ci ha anche presentato brevemente come utilizzare alcune delle attrezzature nella stanza. È uno Shilin Hotel molto carino!

Questa è stata una visita che ho portato con me mia madre di 86 anni, dopo un lungo treno di proiettile e una navetta, Banyan Tree Huangshan ci ha dato un caloroso benvenuto, migliorando la nostra stanza in una villa. Il luogo è ben progettato, innesco in una valle con il tradizionale edificio stile Hui. All'interno delle camere, hanno le camere da letto e le comodità della camera da bagno occidentale, ma il deco è tradizionale cinese con una moderna torsione, molto elegante, non lo stile di catena hotel graziosa, ma dettagli che si adatta alla bellezza della natura circostante. Tutte le camere e le strutture sono molto pulite, e la gente di servizio sono molto carine anche.
