Stayed in the Dukes Head hotel- Kings Lynn to meet with friends the day before a wedding.
The hotel itself is located well in the centre of town and on first look in good condition around the outside and the lobby.
Our room on the other hand was not great. The shower was leaking, the floor not cleaned. The worst of it was being placed next to the lift, the noise was ridiculous, like having a tv on full volume all throughout the night. I noted this to reception and no apologies or acknowledgement to the issue seemed to sync in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

Everything from check-in to departure was perfect . The room was spotless with a big comfortable bed .
We used the spa and pool which was all extremely clean with very polite staff at reception . This is our 3rd visit here and each time we’ve been very impressed
Breakfast was very pleasant as were all staff .Vast selection of food and beverages for all dietary requirements . We enjoyed the full
English breakfast that was cooked to perfection followed by some fresh pineapple / watermelon .
We’ve stayed here a couple of times when we fly to UK and will continue to enjoy a weekend break here in the future .

Only a one night stay, very modern room . Bathroom clean very poor. Black hair on the floor, cob webs above shower. Towel rail dirty . Toilet brush needs replacing.
Very hot room facing to the sun, although fan provided too hot to sleep. Not offered an alternative. No explanation regarding breakfast set up and what to do.
Good continental breakfast selection.
Person that answered the phone day before said hello . Needs training.

Il servizio era buono
La luce nella stanza non era buona - quando entrate in una stanza si aspetta che un cambio di luce sia vicino alla porta, invece di dover andare alle luci di mezzo passo nella stanza accanto al letto, anche il ricevitore era sconvolto. Per ottenere una luce vicino all'ingresso della porta è necessario girare la luce del bagno !!!
Un socket a sinistra della finestra è montato lateralmente !!!
Le soccette a destra della tavola di abbigliamento non devono essere una sopra l'altra
Parti di condensazione sulle finestre quindi gocciolano a causa dei frame di alluminio

On arrival of the hotel we where asked to pay. We had already previously paid but the desk were unsure so let us go up to our room and asked us to come back in the morning. The receptionist was extremely polite and apologised for the mistake that they had made and in return gave us breakfast vouchers. We informed her that we had no working window and it was uncomfortably hot in the room with only the fan and no air con. She gave us a card for the air con but sadly the air con was extremely poor. After 2 uncomfortably hot nights we informed the lady on check out that we didn’t have the best experience in terms of the temperature of our room. They apologised but still was uncomfortable. Apart from that our stay was welcoming and very clean.

Booked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

Whilst the room was beautiful and clean, the service let the place down. Waited fir 15 minutes to book in, found out about a hotel carpark fee when we arrived. Breakfast was slow and gad to call someone over to get a coffee refill.

Sono quasi riluttante a cantare le sue lodi troppo forte se non riusciremo a ottenere una prenotazione la prossima volta, ma non posso semplicemente raccomandare l'Oceano abbastanza alto. Questo posto è un stand assoluto.
Dal momento in cui arrivate, il servizio è eccezionale. L'equipaggio è caldo, molto attento, e veramente accessibile – ogni membro ci ha fatto sentire come ospiti apprezzati piuttosto che solo un'altra prenotazione. Essi anticipavano le nostre necessità prima di chiedere, e nulla era mai stato troppo difficile.
La colazione è stata fantastica, con una splendida selezione per adattarsi a ogni gusto e linea di tavola. Ciò che ha davvero sollevato è stato il servizio completo da tavola – un bel, toccante che ha reso tutta l'esperienza sentirsi speciale e rilassato.
Il ristorante dell'hotel è un must assoluto. Dopo aver scoperto ogni altra opzione nella zona, abbiamo finito di mangiare laggiù le due notti del nostro soggiorno perché era senza dubbio il miglior trovare intorno. Il menu offre una fantastica selezione, tutto è cucinato fresco per ordinare, e ogni piatto che abbiamo provato è stato eccellente. Le porzioni sono generose, ma perfettamente giudicate – così tanto che purtroppo non potevamo sgridare in un dessert, anche se il menu sembrava ogni tanto tentante come le principali.
L'hotel è stato decorato con gusto e cura reali in tutto il mondo.La nostra stanza è stata incredibile – fresca, moderna e incredibilmente accogliente, mentre ancora si sente confortevole e domestico. È un cambiamento così rinfrescante dalle solite offerte di fronte al mare stanche e graziose; il team ha chiaramente gettato il cuore e l'anima in creare un posto che si sente sia elegante che veramente confortante.
In generale, The Ocean is a superb find – one of those rare places that ticks every box and leaves you smile from check-in to check-out. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting.
While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully.
Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. Thank you to everyone at The Bedingfeld Arms for making it so special—we can’t wait to return!

The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok.
The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel.
We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces.
Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself.
We look forward to going back.

CCMJGSI stayed at The George Hotel in Norwich for a quick overnight stop and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although I booked a super cheap deal for a single room, I was given a double room which was warm and comfortable. The location is easy to reach and it's about a 15 minute walk to the big shopping area in Norwich. The hotel staff were really attentive and friendly during check in and check out, they certainly made me feel very welcome and I wouldn't mind staying at The George Hotel again. They have an onsite restaurant called The Arlington Bistro which I would like to try as I didn't have a meal there during my stay. In summary, I can definitely recommend this nice, friendly hotel for everyone.

SSteven DowsonBeautiful hotel surrounded by farmland, extremely peaceful at night and we slept soundly in the large, comfortable bed. We only stayed one night during a road trip but would definitely return for longer, this hotel is perfect for a quiet weekend away. We ate at Rocky Bottoms on the coast in the evening but next time would try the hotel restaurant because the menu looked great, and the breakfast was excellent (loved the homemade marmalade). The staff were very warm & hospitable, we felt very welcome. The room was clean, cosy, and tastefully decorated in keeping with the period architecture. Superb value for money, we highly recommend a visit to The Saracen's Head.
