Hubei, Cina: hotel boutique

If you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station. Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked). The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning. In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

La posizione è molto tranquilla, ma non è facile andare a Hankou, ma non è facile andare in auto. La vista dall'hotel è molto piacevole e l'accesso al Club Floor è un trattamento per chi vuole un po' di spurgo. Il personale è generalmente molto utile in lobby e club. La stanza era pulita e il personale di custodia è molto attento. I suoni di strada possono essere sentiti in camera, anche se le attività esterne si fermano al letto. Vi sono state molte famiglie in hotel con ospiti di tutte le età. Grande scelta per qualsiasi tipo di viaggiatore!

國慶武漢遊住了好幾天，點評 環境：不錯，地鐵就在對面，樓下面就是湖，周邊好幾家商場，還有萬松園美食街，吃飯很方便 設施：有點太老了，電視又小又模糊，窗可以打開但是關不緊，下面廣場舞的聲音會飄上來，大堂就幾個座位，人多了根本沒地方坐 衞生：還行，但是打掃的有點晚，下午回到酒店剛打掃好…… 服務：很差，2點多到酒店告知不能入住房間還沒打掃好，先辦理了手續交了按金，等一圈玩好了晚上回到酒店，拿房卡了告知還沒做，還要繼續等待，體驗很差，下午大堂有現煮熱乾麪，換過幾個人煮，都不戴口罩，有位小哥還在那裡挖鼻子 很不衞生，酒店明明有外賣機器人，但是利用率很差，等了半小時多也未見機器人，衹能自己下去拿，服務基本上稀爛和掛牌5星完全不沾邊 早餐:品種還算多，當地特色的美食不多，中餐的熱乾麪不錯，西餐不好吃 總體一般，和5星不符，也就位置好，其他很一般

Situato in un bel centro, molto vicino al Metro Wuhan e a pochi passi dalla strada Chuhehanjie Shopping. Ci è stato divertente di poter raggiungere tutte le migliori attrazioni di Wuhan in poche fermate della metropolitana come il lago orientale e il Museo provinciale di Hubei. Inoltre, ci piace il colazione, consigliamo di comprarlo per almeno un giorno, e tutti i dipendenti sono stati molto amichevoli e utili.

Give n the age of the hotel I was hesitant to book, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable my stay turned out. Room was spotlessly clean with zero odor (no old furniture, mold or cigarette smell), beds were clean white and comfortable, bathroom and shower amazing. Location worked perfectly because my priorities were the museum and the East Lake, both of which were within walking distance. Driving to Wuhan station took about 15 min. Metro to Hankou station in peak time over an hour. Staff was amazing. They generously upgraded my room to a suite with glorious view over museum and east lake. Always there to answer my questions, give additional water bottle and book a car if necessary. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there next time i am in Wuhan.

Good location with easy access to shopping and dining options. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the laundry service was efficient and convenient during my stay. While the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, they are starting to show their age, and some amenities fall short of what would typically be expected from a five-star hotel. Overall, a pleasant stay with strong service and location advantages.
