Nuova Zelanda: hotel con bar nella provincia di Otago

View was more than spectacular..recommend booking a lake view room, was able to sleep with the window open and the view of the lake all day and night was breathtaking.. food in restaurant so/so, easy walk into town to find everything you need

Very nice view that can see the lake and town centre at the opposite, friendly staff and the in-room dining was fabulous, I had Salmon & Cauliflower which is sooo good that I re-order on second day!

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché ci aspettava di godere della sua vignetta/alimenti. Altrimenti avremmo dovuto stare a Queenstown con molti ristoranti e pub. Come arrivare la sera, abbiamo messo una nota per la speranza di vivere la loro vignetta e cibo (o almeno cibo da dita) quando abbiamo prenotato l'hotel, e ricevere un'e-mail che non possono garantire, ma faranno il possibile per servire le nostre esigenze. Da allora non ci è stato inviato alcuna e-mail. Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel circa le 6:00, nessuno era nel desk, quindi abbiamo dovuto andare al bistro per scoprire che hanno lasciato la chiave in una scatola sicura senza alcuna notifica o inviandoci alcuna e-mail con la sua password. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po' che la signora bistro facesse una telefonata a chi le interessa, che era tutto a posto, e, peggio, abbiamo sentito che il bistro era riservato ad un evento di gruppo, in modo che non potevamo usare la struttura. Abbiamo dovuto guidare 15 minuti in una città vicina e comprare cibo da un supermercato. Credo che l'hotel ci avrebbe dovuto informare che l'evento di gruppo non ci ha fatto uscire dal servizio bistro/alimento e dobbiamo prepararci per il nostro cibo. Quando ho controllato, ho lasciato una nota sulle questioni e mi hanno aspettato che mi inviassero un'e-mail per esprimere le loro sincere scuse. Anche se mi piaceva tanto la stanza quanto l'intero posto, penso che il cottage Kinross abbia bisogno di professionalità per gestire il loro programma di soggiorno. Potrebbe essere stata molto più piacevole, l'esperienza di soggiorno memorabile.

Good things are that pod is clean, bath towel was given, and check-in/out was easy with the touch panel. Bad things were that I couldn’t charge my phone for some reason even if I tried with different cables in my pod, and drain in the shower room was not great. Overall, it was good!

Gorgeous aesthetic throughout this lovely hotel! Gorgeous views of the Shotover River, pool, sauna and steam room all make this a luxurious stay.

Nice place with central location of the Oamaru town, near Woolworth supermarket, some nice old-fashion places and beach. Nice to visit and grab photos. Hotel keeps original decoration you can feel warm with the fireplace and wooden furniture. But the room is clean with modern style.

“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!” I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Looks like we got a recently renovated apartment. It was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was prompt whenever we needed it.Basement parking was available for our stay, and the unit was conveniently located next to a staircase leading directly to Stanley Street, where our ski bus pick-up point was. It was also less than a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Overall, no regrets—it was an excellent choice and great value for the price. Or, if you’re aiming for a more natural Google Reviews style: We were pleasantly surprised to find what looked like a recently renovated apartment. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Bella stanza. Vicino alla città. La stanza è un po'piccola, ma è comoda. E'preziosa, ma è ovunque a Queenstown. Questa è la migliore posizione in Nuova Zelanda, quindi consiglio di rimanere almeno 4 notti.  La colline Queenstown è una bella passeggiata vicino all'hotel. Finz è il mio ristorante preferito per il pesce e Bespoke Kitchen è il miglior colazione/ pranzo che abbiamo trovato.

The Mercure Queenstown feels quite dated, though that was expected. What disappointed me more was the overall maintenance and poor soundproofing—I could hear loud thumping from the room above. The bathroom has been renovated, but amenities were lacking (barely any soap or shampoo), the shower leaked making everything wet, and the door was stiff and noisy to close. Both the bathroom and the room were cold, as the air conditioning only managed to heat partially. Paid parking for hotel guests is simply absurd. On a positive note, breakfast was acceptable.  The View is although the big PLUS.
