It was a nice place to stay.
Staying a little out of the town we relied on the restaurant being available which was not the time we were there so late afternoon drive into town to find a place with a baby wasn't what we had organised.
It would have been nice to have been notified about this prior to arrival.

La signora del servizio di fronte era molto utile. E' uscito dal suo viaggio per ospitare la mia famiglia in un paio d'ore in anticipo. Ha anche offerto una camera da letto due regine, in modo che le mie figlie adolescenti non dovessero condividere un letto. Il buffet è delizioso e vale la pena.Grazie al personale dell'Hotel Kingsgate per il servizio eccellente.

We stay two night there but you can’t check in before 3:00pm and I ask for extended my stay one night more, they said hotel were booked by private function and I can’t put my luggage in there, when I check out I saw other guest can put there luggage in there, just feel like we are Asia not welcome like original Newzerland. All the staff not really smile they just do their job. They food and clean good also good location but the customer service may need improvement.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip and was looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. It met my basic expectations.
Pros:
- Clean and well-maintained room.
- Room size is comfortable for two adults.
- 24-hour reception is very convenient.
- Bus stops (Bus 1) are right in front of the hotel.
- The balcony with chairs and a table offers a serene view of the river.
- Buffet breakfast starts early at 6:30 AM, which is great for me as my coach to Lake Tekapo was at 8am.
- Room comes with all necessities, plus a microwave, which was a huge bonus for me.
Cons:
- Booked a lake-view room, but the view was partially blocked by bushes/trees as the room was on Level 2.
Located next to a busy main road, and passerby visibility made it feel less private.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to family and friends for its convenience and comfort.

Il Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park è un hotel di lusso di prima notte, a soli 5 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto. Se vuoi un riposo veloce da un lungo viaggio, questo dovrebbe venire rapidamente al tuo salvataggio dalla fatica di viaggio.
Tutto su questo hotel è buono, compreso il personale amichevole. L'unico svantaggio è la sua posizione che è un po' lontano dalla città o dalle attività principali. Se non hai una macchina allora sicuramente dovresti essere pronti a Ubar e Tax ogni volta che vuoi uscire.

TTA very beautiful hotel which needs a bit of uphill walk for about 15 mins from the town centre. There're no shops restaurants in the neighbourhood but one can eat at its restaurant or room service. The room itself is very spacious, clean, well equipped and our room overlooks the lake which is great. The pickup point for Milford Sound tour we joined is along the street in front of the hotel (Stanley Street).
I tried the buffet breakfast which is so so with limited choices.
Overall I love this hotel especially the price is great compared with other hotels at the very central location.

이이진희Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché ci aspettava di godere della sua vignetta/alimenti. Altrimenti avremmo dovuto stare a Queenstown con molti ristoranti e pub.
Come arrivare la sera, abbiamo messo una nota per la speranza di vivere la loro vignetta e cibo (o almeno cibo da dita) quando abbiamo prenotato l'hotel, e ricevere un'e-mail che non possono garantire, ma faranno il possibile per servire le nostre esigenze. Da allora non ci è stato inviato alcuna e-mail. Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel circa le 6:00, nessuno era nel desk, quindi abbiamo dovuto andare al bistro per scoprire che hanno lasciato la chiave in una scatola sicura senza alcuna notifica o inviandoci alcuna e-mail con la sua password. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po' che la signora bistro facesse una telefonata a chi le interessa, che era tutto a posto, e, peggio, abbiamo sentito che il bistro era riservato ad un evento di gruppo, in modo che non potevamo usare la struttura. Abbiamo dovuto guidare 15 minuti in una città vicina e comprare cibo da un supermercato. Credo che l'hotel ci avrebbe dovuto informare che l'evento di gruppo non ci ha fatto uscire dal servizio bistro/alimento e dobbiamo prepararci per il nostro cibo. Quando ho controllato, ho lasciato una nota sulle questioni e mi hanno aspettato che mi inviassero un'e-mail per esprimere le loro sincere scuse. Anche se mi piaceva tanto la stanza quanto l'intero posto, penso che il cottage Kinross abbia bisogno di professionalità per gestire il loro programma di soggiorno. Potrebbe essere stata molto più piacevole, l'esperienza di soggiorno memorabile.

AAylwinDDoubletree was a last minute decision upon arriving Queenstown from Mt Cook. Although it is pricey, no regrets getting a room here for 2 nights. It came with a fully furnished kitchenette where you could do some cooking but didn't utilize this since we ate out. One peeve I don't understand is the need to pay for parking since onsite (NZD$ 16 per nite). There's ample parking and for guests that drive in, this should be complimentary for stay duration.
Location is outside of Queenstown but water taxi available from hotel dock. Recommend for the environment and fantastic room but giving 3 stars for facilities due to need to pay for parking.
Location by the lake allows peace and quiet and also wildlife encounters. Front desk staff during checkin time was very attentive and helpful as well.

UUtente ospiteBiggest issue was at reception as we checked in, this is related directly as to how they word their parking regulations, they say PARKING AVAILABLE, the guy at reception mentioned to me where is it saying paid parking available? And the way he said it was really condescending, I was trying to explain that I have travelled to so many place's and never have faced this situation, his reply was “so have I”
Just don’t get caught to this, read the fine print. Not sure if it was on the document TRIIP sent or on their site. But it was misleading for sure.
15$ per night to park in their lot but there is on road parking as well.
The hotel overall was excellent, breakfast was so so, best was the HOT TUB.

UUtente ospiteThe décor of the rooms were excellent and the small touches - such as the music that plays when you walk into the room, and the small bar area, the art work, and the welcome book - were really special. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quite, and the size of the room was prefect for two people. There is a sauna available to use by in-house guests, which is excellent after a long hike. Overall, the quality of the room was value for money.
There is also a restaurant, but sadly it was not open the day that we stayed (Monday). We were quite upset about that as we had read very good reviews about the chef and food quality! Whilst the staff were nice at check in, they did not give much information about the premises (i.e. they didn't give us a tour or anything), and we had to ask a lot of questions.
The location is outside of town, but a short drive if you have a car, or a short bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel).
Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here!

TTheOriginalRayLimWe love the lake view from the balcony. Though it is not within walking distance from the town centre, it’s nevertheless tranquil and serene. There’s a ferry service, at a cost, to and from the town centre. Customer service officers from Hilton would be more than happy to share more on this.
We like the morning breakfast though you really should be prepared to wait if it’s during the peak hours. I love their real honeycomb. What a treat that was!
Spread wise could have been wider, but quality is decent.
We enjoyed the friendly service by Hilton. We only stayed for one night, but would be happy if I had more time there.
Overall, a very good stay there.

UUtente ospiteNon hanno questa politica di musica forte dopo le 10:00, ma purtroppo la nostra prima notte, le persone che si trovano nella stanza inferiore hanno comprato il proprio oratore e si rivolgono a voce alta, battendo musica anche dopo mezzanotte. Abbiamo chiamato la ricezione alle 11:00, che hanno risposto, ma la gente ha appena sbloccato la musica e riattaccato dopo averla lasciata.
In generale, buona posizione come il lago Dunstan è vicino, vale il denaro e hanno una buona vista.

2) Not even a small work desk, and totally NO USB ports to charge phones or tablets
3) Not really value for money with such amenities
