Nuova Zelanda: hotel con bar nella provincia di Otago

La camera è molto alta, la luce è stata bella e tutto è pulito! La posizione è anche molto conveniente, come è all'interno del centro della città.

My recent stay at Oakridge Resort Lake Wanaka was overall a very positive experience, thanks to its fantastic amenities. After long days spent exploring the stunning surrounding landscapes, the hot pools were an absolute highlight. Soaking in the warm water under the stars was incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind tired muscles. This was definitely a standout feature of the resort and something I greatly appreciated. If I were to be particularly picky, the only minor annoyance during my stay was a faint but persistent hissing sound coming from the telephone line in my room. While it wasn't overly loud, it did become a little distracting when trying to get to sleep. Despite this small issue, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Oakridge Resort.

I recently stayed at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross and had a very pleasant experience. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its excellent location – it's within walking distance to many of Dunedin's main attractions, including the Railway Station, Baldwin Street (the world’s steepest street), and Queen’s Gardens. Whether you're in town for sightseeing or just want convenient access to key places, this hotel is ideally situated. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire stay hassle-free. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. Another plus is the on-site hotel parking, which is a great convenience, especially in a central location like this. Overall, I’d recommend Scenic Hotel Southern Cross for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Dunedin with friendly service and all the essentials covered.

The hotel was almost walkable from the airport. We arrived early Saturday morning and enjoyed the market right over the road. As we were early to the hotel we got our instructions and returned later, lovely receptionist. We did not eat at the hotel but there is a cafe on the ground level which closes around 2.30 but the smell from fresh bakery and coffee was pretty good. Self catering was good with basics. We had a faulty fridge and had just bought supplies but the hotel, although almost time for staff to leave, found us another room with an upgrade. If you are a fussy camper, you could say fittings in bathroom were ”cheap” and scuff marks on walls (all white so they show more) but it was perfect for us. Overlooking building sites and other buildings but just look up and there are the mountains in their splendour.l Cost was reasonable and as parking is pricy in Queenstown it was good to get free parking at the hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park. The hotel is in a very convenient location—close to the airport, shops, and just a short drive into town. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with beautiful views of the Remarkables. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. Perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring Queenstown. I’d happily come back again!

May 2025 stay. Non ci sono slippers e la progettazione del bagno non mi fa molto senso, ha difficili tra le porte, quindi è super freddo quando uscirò dal doccia anche quando ho già spento l'aria condizionata. Il vetro di schermo doccia non è completamente opaco che può essere terribile. Abbiamo anche chiesto un'altra pendenza 3 volte, perché abbiamo avuto un lungo soggiorno e solo la terza volta che l'abbiamo chiesto. Altrimenti, penso che la camera è accogliente. Il colazione è standard ogni giorno. La posizione è saggio per camminare verso la collina verso la zona centrale e camminare in fondo che può essere stanco. Catturato un arcobaleno in una delle mattine durante il nostro soggiorno :)

Il letto era molto comodo, garantendo un buon sonno di notte. Il colazione era un altro punto di vista, non solo il cibo era piacevole, ma abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere un sedile da finestra con una bella vista. Apprezziamo l'accesso diretto dall'hotel al lago, rendendo facile godere della natura circostante.Inoltre, la lavanderia comunale è un'ottima attrezzatura per soggiorni più lunghi.

Pros: la camera dell'hotel era davvero pulita e spaziosa La posizione era buona, molto vicino alla zona principale delle negozi Cons: l'hotel ha informato che non c'era parcheggio disponibile perché il parcheggio era pieno e era stato prima arrivato prima servito. Quindi si prevede che gli ospiti circondano l'hotel per molto tempo quando arrivano? Specialmente quando è stato dichiarato che il parcheggio è disponibile sul sito. Il personale del front desk era molto brutto con un atteggiamento. Suggeriva parcheggio stradale, ma io le ho detto che non mi piaceva parcheggio parallelo e lei è appena diventata davvero brutta con un atteggiamento o lasciare. Abbiamo prenotato due camere, ma lei ha dato solo una carta e io ho dovuto ricordarle la carta dell’altra. L'hotel è un lago dove abbiamo dovuto portare l'ascensore a un livello diverso, andare in un edificio diverso e prendere un altro ascensore per entrare nella stanza. Abiti giardino per i viaggiatori soli. In generale, le camere sono ben mantenute ma vigilate sulla mancanza di parcheggio + personale rude

La stanza è pulita e abbiamo una bella vista sul lago mentre abbiamo colazione, anche se la vista è leggermente ostacolata dalla costruzione in corso. La posizione è leggermente scomoda se non hai una macchina da noleggio perché è difficile camminare di montagna dalla città.

Ottimo ubicazione !!!! È possibile andare al centro di Queenstown, fornire molti servizi come cibo / lavanderia / informazioni meteo / ecc... È una buona esperienza soggiornare in questo ostello!!!
