Abbiamo apprezzato il nostro soggiorno molto hotel è in buona posizione per ciò che abbiamo bisogno l'intero centro della città è a piedi. Una cosa da sapere di fare il parcheggio mostra parcheggio, ma hanno solo 13 parchi, quindi pagherebbe per chiamare in anticipo per ottenere uno assegnato alla vostra stanza.

Those guests with rental cars should understand how the parking system works here. If not, you’ll get fined. The staff should explain clearly to first-time guests. The room is average. There is a cracking sound on the floor, which is quite loud annoying.

I recently stayed at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross and had a very pleasant experience. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its excellent location – it's within walking distance to many of Dunedin's main attractions, including the Railway Station, Baldwin Street (the world’s steepest street), and Queen’s Gardens. Whether you're in town for sightseeing or just want convenient access to key places, this hotel is ideally situated.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire stay hassle-free. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city.
Another plus is the on-site hotel parking, which is a great convenience, especially in a central location like this.
Overall, I’d recommend Scenic Hotel Southern Cross for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Dunedin with friendly service and all the essentials covered.

My mistake in not verifying the lodge location. It was listed as being in Milford Sound when it is not. Management need to adjust the door closers for kitchen n dining room. Was kept awake til 11pm with the banging. When I gave feedback to the staff, was told I had booked the basic standard room.

Adoro le loro piscina calda e le loro strutture. La posizione sarebbe 5 minuti di auto dalla città. Se avete una macchina sarebbe molto conveniente, non credo che si possa camminare verso la città con questa distanza.

It’s a vintage hotel, I’m surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach.

Doubletree è stata un'ultima decisione all'arrivo di Queenstown dal Monte Cook. Anche se è prezioso, non mi dispiace di avere una stanza qui per due notti. È stato fornito con una cucina completamente attrezzata dove potresti cucinare, ma non l'hai usata da quando abbiamo mangiato fuori. Ci sono ampie parcheggi e per gli ospiti che entrano, questo dovrebbe essere complimentare per la durata del soggiorno.
La struttura è situata al di fuori di Queenstown ma è disponibile un taxi acqua dal doc dell'hotel.
La posizione sul lago permette di incontrare la pace e la tranquillità, nonché la fauna selvatica.

This hotel enjoys a prime central location, just a 1-2 minute walk from the tourist bus stop and information center. Lakeview rooms on the 2nd floors feature private enclosed balconies. Even non-lake view rooms offer great value, with the lakeshore directly accessible from the property. The exceptionally friendly front desk staff often accommodates early check-in and room upgrades—during our three-day stay (due to booking constraints requiring three different room types), we were consistently upgraded to the most premium option: a second-floor lakeview room. They even assisted with pre-dawn arrangements for our Roy’s Peak hike. Highly recommended!

Queenstown Lakefront the room is clean and basic the bed comfortable l had a good sleep the room to big even had a good seating area coffee tea in the room TV had variety of choices however the bathroom that not that great they need to get rid of that bath basin I am not sure what is purpose? The shower curtain so cheap common if you charge your guests a top dollars you can afford a decent shower curtain it New Zealand not a 3rd world country. All the Wi-fi so terrible even basic email take time to download also what is deposit for if you don't have any minibar in the room? I think all those can improve a good management I had pizz one night taste good anyway this Queenstown accommodation always in short that way they don't care still a good place to crush a big hot two.

JJUZKthe location’s perfect if you’re not renting a car as a solo traveler. roof top lounge is pretty chill, and the view was breathtaking. They were renovating into a rooftop bar when I was visiting, seems likes the vibe at the area will be another level up

이이진희Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché ci aspettava di godere della sua vignetta/alimenti. Altrimenti avremmo dovuto stare a Queenstown con molti ristoranti e pub.
Come arrivare la sera, abbiamo messo una nota per la speranza di vivere la loro vignetta e cibo (o almeno cibo da dita) quando abbiamo prenotato l'hotel, e ricevere un'e-mail che non possono garantire, ma faranno il possibile per servire le nostre esigenze. Da allora non ci è stato inviato alcuna e-mail. Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel circa le 6:00, nessuno era nel desk, quindi abbiamo dovuto andare al bistro per scoprire che hanno lasciato la chiave in una scatola sicura senza alcuna notifica o inviandoci alcuna e-mail con la sua password. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po' che la signora bistro facesse una telefonata a chi le interessa, che era tutto a posto, e, peggio, abbiamo sentito che il bistro era riservato ad un evento di gruppo, in modo che non potevamo usare la struttura. Abbiamo dovuto guidare 15 minuti in una città vicina e comprare cibo da un supermercato. Credo che l'hotel ci avrebbe dovuto informare che l'evento di gruppo non ci ha fatto uscire dal servizio bistro/alimento e dobbiamo prepararci per il nostro cibo. Quando ho controllato, ho lasciato una nota sulle questioni e mi hanno aspettato che mi inviassero un'e-mail per esprimere le loro sincere scuse. Anche se mi piaceva tanto la stanza quanto l'intero posto, penso che il cottage Kinross abbia bisogno di professionalità per gestire il loro programma di soggiorno. Potrebbe essere stata molto più piacevole, l'esperienza di soggiorno memorabile.

::))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

AA&R TravelsStayed 3 nights and overall a very positive experience, thanks to its fantastic amenities. After long days spent exploring the stunning surrounding landscapes, the private hot tub is an absolute highlight. Soaking in the warm water was incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind tired muscles.

CCharm-Pros: the hotel room was really clean and spacious
Location was good, really near the main shops area
Cons: the hotel informed there was no parking available as their carpark was full and it was first come first serve. So guests are expected to circle the hotel vicinity for a lot when they arrive? Especially when it’s stated that parking is available onsite.
Front desk staff was really rude with an attitude. She suggested street parking but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with parallel parking and she just got really rude with a take it or leave it attitude. We booked two rooms but she only gave one room’s card and I had to remind her for the other room’s card.
Anyways. The hotel is a maze where we had to take lift to a different level, walk to a different building and take another lift to get to the room. Abit creepy for solo travellers.
Overall; the rooms are well maintained but beware of the lack of parking + rude staff

LLandersMercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow…

UUtente ospiteI won’t recommend it,they couldn’t find my booking under my name so they charged me again. when I told them that I didn’t get the refund, they said they’ll send an email to manager,but they did nothing until I called them and asked. They only took it seriously when I asked their manager’s contact.It took so long to get my refund and I had to pay transaction fees!!
We booked the sauna when we checked in,then the next day we went to the reception,they said they couldn’t find my booking again,and they didn’t even apologise for that,it’s all just ridiculous!

AAylwinDLocation: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself.
Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night.
Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk.
Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.
