I stayed at Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu and found the location excellent, close to attractions like Pasar Payang and the Crystal Mosque. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and nice. My room was clean with basic amenities like free Wi-Fi and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and dining at Jala Mas Coffee House was average. Overall, the hotel is quite suitable for travelers seeking affordability.

I love the hotel. It gives a serenity vibes and calm. I love how clean eventho the hotel is an old hotel. But everything is so clean and good condition. Talking about the pool. So big and save for the kids to enjoy. The surrounding also very big and got many parks for the kids to enjoy. Except kijal is quite far from KT and Kijal town itself has nothing except for the sea. But i love it anyway. Good place for taking a break from busy city

Comfortable stay. The buggy drivers could’ve been more friendly and accommodating. Housekeepers are very friendly (they better suited to be at the counter/buggy as the social skills are better) We need to follow the buggy to our hotel by car. The first buggy driver we need to follow — he’s okay but as he need to usher another family, he passed it to another buggy driver in the middle of the journey. But no 2 ways communication I guess, we didn’t even know that we should follow another buggy until we missed a junction and noticed this second driver only then was signalling us to follow him. And once we arrive at the place which is not a single unit (got multiple units at one area) he quickly tries to leave. I need to call him back before he was away to reconfirm which one is the building we are staying in. He looked annoyed when I asked, but he didn’t even explain properly… I should be the one who is annoyed tbh. The hotel is okay. It would be better if the staff are a little bit more accommodating and brush up on their social skills. It will significantly improve the staying experience.

We drove to Kuala Besut, parked our car at Fairfield Marriott and booked ourselves into Fairfield Marriott Kuala Besut for the night before our trip to Marriott Perhentian. The rooms in Kuala Besut are clean, not at all cramped for the price and perfect as a mere stopover. The staff were super-friendly and attentive. They were aware that we were heading out to Perhentian the next day as we had messaged the Perhentian property of our plans prior. The next morning we checked out of Fairfield Marriott and pushed our luggage over to the Marriott Perhentian reception next door under the same roof and were swiftly checked into Marriott Perhentian there and then by the friendly check-in staff. They took our bags and tagged everything according to our respective rooms. The next time we'd see our bags again would be in our rooms on the island as they took care of everything. We were then invited to board the ship that would ferry us over to the island which was super comfortable, clean, air conditioned. We were taken care of by a gracious Ms. Anita throughout our boat ride who offered us sick bags if we got sea sick. Lucky for us, the 40-min ride was not excessively bumpy. Arriving on the island, we were welcomed and greeted by name by a host of staff immediately upon disembarkation and taken on a tour of the property on the buggies that were already waiting for us on the jetty before we were sent straight to our rooms. The rooms are clean, spacious with a lot of natural light filling both the bedchamber and the bathroom. Drinking water is offered and replenished every day. If we wanted to get anywhere on the property, the buggy was only a phone call away. Otherwise, the property is not too big that it is too far to walk to get around. The only thing to keep in mind when walking is that this property is built on a hillside so there are some steep inclines that might be an encumberance for those with limited mobility with walking. The pools are perfect. One for families, one for kids, and one quiet pool that is exclusively for adults. Everyone's preferences is catered to in this regard. The breakfast spread is generous in variety with Malay, Chinese, Indian, and continental options. The F&B staff at Dapur made us feel very welcome every morning and took very good care of us thoroughly. I would like to convey our gratitude to Norhayati, Damia, Joanne, and Firdaus who made us feel like family at breakfast every morning. I came with children aged 5, 8, and 10 and they spent a lot of time by themselves at the Kid's Club all day where they're taken care of by the staff there. There were activities all day in which they participated. If they didn't feel like participating, they kept themselves entertained with books, games, computer, and TV at the club. The location of the resort is a bit secluded and I felt safe allowing them to make their own way to the pools, Kid's Club. If they're not walking on their own, the staff would take them to their destinations and back to their rooms on the buggy. My kids loved this place so much that they've rated it far above an upscale property we've stayed at in Langkawi. The three beaches on the hotel property have clear water and white powder sand but are not the best on the two Perhentian islands but we could hire external party water taxis to take us to better beaches elsewhere. We only did this once during our three-night stay. Every staff we encountered made us feel very welcome and were helpful. I wish I had remembered all their names but the only other two I could recall were Hilmi and Nik Nur. I would definitely come back here again within a couple of years.

Big room. Comfortable. Bathrooms are all clean. Limited breakfast. Gotta go down a little fast. Overall everything is okay. The hotel is really close to the payang market.  in the middle of the city. Can be reached on foot. In front of the hotel there is a white mosque. Muslims can pray near there.  Only this is an old hotel. So the furniture is all old. Receptionists are all friendly. Really satisfied. School holiday fully book. Must book early.

This hotel is newly furnished, and the rooms was great, 3 super single bed fits family of 4 (2adult 2 kids), we love the breakfast so much and I suggest you guys book with breakfast as surrounding seems not easy to get food. Outdoor car park available and we enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel reception and restaurant staff serve you with friendly attitude, this is amazing experience. Good job.

Tutto è relativo. Per Perhentian, Barat è uno degli hotel più puliti in circolazione. Ma per il prezzo che ho pagato durante la super alta stagione, ci si aspetterebbe servizi più puliti. Ho aspettato ore che la stanza fosse pronta, il che posso capire dato che la sera prima era tutto prenotato e sono arrivato prima dell'orario ufficiale di check-in. Tuttavia, quando sono finalmente riuscito a fare il check-in nella mia stanza, la confezione di shampoo dell'ospite precedente non era stata ritirata e il foro di scarico aveva ancora i capelli. Anche gli asciugamani erano umidi. Una volta superata questa delusione iniziale, ero abbastanza felice per il resto del mio tempo lì. La stanza era ben attrezzata con bollitore, asciugacapelli, ventilatore e aria condizionata super cool, quest'ultima è stata fondamentale per alleviare il caldo record che stiamo vivendo. Anche la posizione era superba. Puoi fare snorkeling sulla spiaggia fuori dall'hotel vicino, dove puoi vedere i cuccioli di squalo che si aggirano tra le rocce. Il personale mi ha assicurato che le mamme squalo non cacciano lì. Immagino che abbiano ragione dato che sono sopravvissuto abbastanza per scrivere questa recensione. I più coraggiosi possono nuotare fino a Turtle Point (si consiglia il giubbotto salvagente). Ogni mattina, un sacco di barche arrivano qui per far scendere gli amanti dello snorkeling nella speranza di intravedere le tartarughe. È bello avere la possibilità di andarci quando vuoi, quando vuoi, soggiornando al vicino hotel Barat.

Il resort è ubicato in una spiaggia molto lunga e tranquilla e, anche se inizialmente spiazza un po’, risulta il luogo ideale per chi desidera trascorrere dei giorni nel relax totale. Il complesso si sviluppa in una zona abbastanza ampia e offre diverse sistemazioni in riva al mare. Noi abbiamo prenotato una di queste e davvero ne è valsa la pena. La stanza ha una bellissima vetrata che dà verso la spiaggia e, al mattino, svegliarsi con il rumore del mare in sottofondo è impagabile. La stanza è abbastanza comoda, un piccolo salottino con divano e poltrona, un bagno e una stanza da letto. Esternamente, un piccolo patio con due sedie e tavolino. Il letto è confortevole, abbastanza grande, le prese della corrente sono comode. Alcune cose, però, non ci sono piaciute: iniziando dal bagno che emanava un cattivissimo odore di acqua stagnante e anche persistente. Dovevamo tenere la porta chiusa altrimenti il cattivo odore si propagava nel resto della stanza. In generale in tutto il bagno c’era una forte umidità, tanto che i vari accessori di alluminio presentavano diversi punti arrugginiti. La doccia erogava pochissima acqua, inoltre per avere l’acqua calda di doveva accendere un secondo soffione. Esternamente, una delle due sedie era rotta. Infine c’era il generatore proprio dietro la stanza e quindi il rumore era molto forte anche dentro, a porte chiuse. I servizi proposti dal resort sono abbastanza ampi. Il ristorante risulta mediocre, nella scelta e nella qualità del cibo. Molte delle bevande non sono disponibili, molti piatti sul menu sono “out of stock”… ma è comprensibile considerando che ci si trova su un’isola. La piscina è molto grande e bella anche se non pulitissima. Le sdraio sono poche e anche rotte. In conclusione, il vero punto di forza del resort è il personale e l’ubicazione. Il resto è migliorabile, c’è tanto potenziale e se solo lo curassero di più, non ci sarebbe nulla da invidiare a resort di brand più rinomati.

Hotel situato in Long Beach sulla spiaggia e a due passi dai servizi. Ricezione e attenzione al cliente un po' freddina ma cortese. Pulizia ok ma fatta in orari a noi scomodi: con la stanza libera dalle 9.30 alle 15 l'abbiamo trovata spesso ancora da rifare; per averla pulita a rientro l'abbiamo dovuto chiedere ogni giorno. La colazione un po' risicata per gli italiani che non mangiano salato: pochi dolci e non freschi; anche volendo andare all'essenziale spesso non abbiamo trovato il pane oppure una marmellata. Al bar servivano espresso e cappuccino a pagamento, ma non ne abbiamo usufruito. Pochi ombrelloni e due sdraio per la piscina (ma l'ambiente è piccolo). Long beach non è da relax, essendo quasi un porticciolo; vanno presi i water taxi per stare tranquilli in qualsiasi spiaggia nei dintorni (e sono tutte bellissime). Comunque rispetto ad esperienze riportate da connazionali di altre strutture è un validissimo hotel e lo consiglio.

Questo resort è un posto meraviglioso in cui soggiornare con un budget molto buono rispetto ad altri resort nei dintorni. La camera era abbastanza pulita e confortevole. Aria condizionata e riscaldamento dell'acqua disponibili 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. Il personale dell'hotel era estremamente gentile e cordiale. Puoi goderti un drink al bar con Akmal e spettegolare con bella musica ❤️ Servono cibo straordinario e offrono escursioni di snorkeling, taxi in barca, kayak e altre strutture.

L'hotel è situato su una bellissima spiaggia. La camera è semplice, ha un bollitore, un frigorifero, una cassaforte e un ferro da stiro. Puoi pagare le fatture al momento della partenza. La colazione è nella media, la scelta del cibo europeo non è molto ampia, l'assortimento non è cambiato in 5 giorni. Non mi piaceva il fatto che non esistesse una fontana d'acqua gratuita; prendevamo l'acqua dagli hotel vicini. La piscina non è ancora funzionante; i lavori di riparazione sono iniziati a febbraio e difficilmente verranno completati prima di settembre.

Il miglior resort di sempre. Dal molo il servizio è stato fantastico. Se scegli il trasferimento in barca da Bubu, non è necessario condividere con altri passeggeri del resort, solo ospiti Bubu. I bagagli saranno organizzati da loro. Porta solo le tue cose. Quindi quando torni indietro, non hai bisogno di q come gli altri. Aspetta nella hall, aspetta che arrivi la barca! Dal check-in fino al check-out, il loro staff è così allegro! La colazione era eccezionale con la vista sulla spiaggia! Sicuramente lo ripeterò dopo questo.

Il vantaggio principale di questo hotel è la posizione e il personale super cordiale. Si trova a 30 metri a piedi dal molo delle barche e a 10 minuti a piedi da Long Beach. Un buon ristorante nell'hotel, ma molto più costoso dei ristoranti nei dintorni, ma la qualità è simile. Ogni sera puoi guardare un film al cinema. La colazione è piuttosto scadente: una piccola selezione di piatti, a volte niente carne, poca frutta, succhi chimici, in generale si risparmia molto sulla colazione. Le loro escursioni sono anche più costose di quelle che puoi acquistare altrove. Ma ripeto che il personale è meraviglioso e molto cordiale.

Voglio dare alcune informazioni sulla villa giardino e la villa oceanica, la villa giardino è meglio di quella giardino, ha cortile privato, è un po' lontano dal lobby per più privacy e pace, ma la villa oceanica è vicino al ristorante e non è privata, la residenza di giardini villa dovrebbe passare attraverso le villa oceaniche per arrivare alla loro stanza e non è nemmeno la spiaggia davanti, non ha cortile privato in modo che gli ospiti non potevano aprire le tende e utilizzare la vista 🫣it dovrebbe be half price of garden villa but it’s more expensive 😑 Il bagno e il bagno non hanno porta ma hanno vista al giardino. Le cose sono grandi. 👍🏼 Il cibo è il migliore dell'isola, ma è completamente medio. Snorkeling con firo è stato fantastico.😝 Tutto è perfetto, consiglio fortemente questa villa.🫶🏻

Comfortable to stay , good experience , spacious and clean room. I frequently need to work travel to Kemaman and this is my choice of hotel for overnight stay. Staffs are friendly and amenities provided are suffice.

La stanza è ok, ma le foglie, i biancheria e le tole devono essere cambiate perché sembra essere stata una lunga durata. Un po'di capelli. Il biancheria è troppo piccolo. Adatto per un breve soggiorno di notte, due tipi di perché è economico.
