Solo breve soggiorno - overnight per assistere al matrimonio dei nostri amici a Carnforth. Buona posizione che è solo 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia! Lucky, i mercati erano sulla promenade! Easy to access around the town. Easy to parchment the car. La stanza era pulita e confortevole. Fan fornito! Importantemente, la TV ha sottotitoli che sono buoni per i sordi. Travelodge ci ha fornito sistemi di allarme antincendio! Se tornassi a Morecambe, resterei come Travelodge.

The hotel is right on the front and while there is parking, there is also a large car park just over the road with lots of blue badge spaces. We went for the music festival, which is one of the busiest times and there wasn't an issue with parking. The check in was simple, the staff are very friendly. My partner has mobility and breathing issues but was able to manage the walk to our room. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, enough storage and the bathroom well laid out with a full length mirror. There were chairs in the room, which gave more height when putting on shoes etc for people who struggle. Tea/coffee making facilities and decent size mugs. The hotel itself was quiet but being on the front the seagulls are extremely vocal. The bars/pubs are a five minute walk away.

The hotel is located close to the water's edge, just across a busy main road. The reception staff were friendly when taking the reservation but charged an additional £50 as a deposit for any room charges—a detail not mentioned during the booking process. Be sure to speak with reception before you leave to ensure that this deposit is refunded. From my research, it seems the hotel is slow to return deposits, but if it takes longer than 5-7 days, your bank can assist with the issue. Our room had a decent view, but being on the ground floor and at the front of the hotel, it was quite noisy with traffic and pedestrians passing by. At first glance, the room appeared nice—clean and tidy—but the bathroom layout was awkward. Despite having ample space, the bath was small, and the toilet was crammed into one corner. The bathroom could benefit from an update, such as replacing the bath with a walk-in shower. There was no hot water on our first night, only tepid, making it impossible to take a comfortable shower or bath. The shower itself was disappointing, with weak water pressure and no option to adjust the spray due to the poor design of the mixer tap. When we informed reception about the lack of hot water, they claimed no other guests had complained. Although they did contact the manager and attempted to get a plumber, they blamed the difficulty on the bank holiday weekend, which seemed more like an excuse. The bathroom lacked a heated towel rail, so wet towels didn’t dry properly. The provided toilet paper was extremely thin and not very durable—I recommend bringing your own. Only two rolls were supplied, and they were of very poor quality. The room didn’t have air conditioning or a heater. There was a single radiator near the door, but it didn’t work. We noticed a tall electric device, but it turned out to be just a cold air blower. The room felt chilly, and while it’s still summer, I imagine it would be even colder in autumn. There was also no safe in the room, so if you have valuables, you'll need to take them with you. The room had an outdoor seating area, which could have been a nice touch, but it was overshadowed by the constant noise from the busy road. There were no lights outside, so sitting there at night meant sitting in the dark. Privacy was also an issue, as people from the restaurant above would come down to smoke near the seating area. I wouldn’t want to sit and have a drink with people smoking and standing close by. This area would be even less appealing in colder weather, and I doubt many would want to sit there with the traffic noise. Breakfast was decent, with a full English offering, although the black pudding was subpar. The staff were polite but seemed indifferent, making their service less welcoming than it should have been. Overall, I found this hotel to be well below expectations. It was the cheapest option during the bank holiday, and it’s true that you get what you pay for. Would I recommend this hotel? Questo hotel artistico è stato trasformato in un pub gastro, la ricezione iconica è stata rimossa e ora si accede al bar. La promozione è offerta al check-in per voi per un drink complimentare per persona a notte durante il vostro soggiorno. Come stampato sul biglietto che ricevete. Questo è stato negato dal personale del bar che ha contraddistinto il biglietto. Per 2 persone che soggiornano 2 notti, il buono non vale la pena di bere 4 complimenti, ma solo 2. Anche GONE è servizio da tavola. Devi trovare una tavola dove c'è un taglio involucro di carta da tavola contenente un taglio e le tue carte pre-imprimite che offrono la scelta gastro-pub - pollo e chip, pia e chip, scampi e chip, hamburger e chip. Prendete il numero della tavola al bar dove si mette l'ordine e pagate per questo. Stile gastro-pub. Sono andati i vestiti da tavola. E manca la metà della selezione di bevande dal menu delle bevande preimprimite. E poi sono andati i staff di aspettare vestiti in modo intelligente. Abbiamo ordinato il leggendario tè pomeriggio che è sempre stato completamente prenotato (100+ coperte) nella sala da pranzo di vista mare, come se fosse stato gettato in una stanza laterale. Una visita lì ha mostrato che nessuno aveva prenotato, così si è fatto, il posto era inmaculato, ma i mattoni e gli mobili sembrano stanchi, e la casa esterna è ben tenuta a pulire.

Un check-in rapido e professionale. La camera e il bagno erano molto puliti e moderni e il letto era molto confortevole. Sono stati forniti tè, caffè e biscotti. Non abbiamo mangiato in hotel ma c'erano caffè, pub e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Siamo stati grati per il parcheggio gratuito dell'hotel e per la spiaggia proprio dall'altra parte della strada. La connessione wifi funzionava benissimo nell'area lounge/bar al piano terra ma era un po' debole nelle camere. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della disponibilità del personale. Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel. Un piccolo modo per migliorare sarebbe aggiungere tende oscuranti.

Popped in for breakfast - best breakfast ever and the whole family loved it including the children - service was fast and polite and the atmosphere and surroundings were spotless and very comfortable. We felt like we mattered and the breakfast was all served at the same time, fresh and hot.
